Tho NoCo Estate Sales believes it was my attitude, I think it may have been them that was short of patience. Given that they probably had a lot of cranky customers that had trouble finding the pick up location because NoCo Estate Sales had listed it incorrectly in the info. When I pointed out the difficulty in removal of my item (an old dresser) and asked for help, I was yelled at..."WE TOLD YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN LABOR". After another customer offered to help me, and after NoCo Estate Sales staff had moved the three items in the path of my item, I was able to complete my pick up. Since then, however, because I HAD A BAD ATTITUDE, (expecting NoCo Estate Sale to make way for me to remove my items, and my intention to just leave without it was too unpleasant and demanding) NoCo Estate Sales has prohibited me from purchasing from their auctions, even if it means client items go unsold. I guess if I were to hire a company to handle my estate items, I would expect them to do their best to actually SELL my stuff. Point being, it was Miss Kacy that had a bad day, not me. She published the pick up address incorrectly and was unprepared for the difficulty of the house with narrow doorways and tight hallways. Her auction pick up didn't go as planned. Instead of just taking responsibility, she took it out on customers and keeps taking it out on me when I try to purchase auction items she has listed for sale.

A big plus is that this auction company does in-house shipping which if you bid in on-line auctions on a regular basis like I do, this is a huge deal as most auction houses pretty much tell you after you've won, your pretty much on your own. Not only did they pack and ship my watches for me, I got them 2 days after I paid. This is almost unheard of. Baer & Bosch care about their customers is the bottom line.

They also have a nice little restaurant on the side of the building. More just a cafe that sticks to the basics but they got tasty cheeseburgers and french fries for sure. The whole place gets a bit dusty though so best stock up on your allergy medicine because you won't get away from the dust no matter where you go unless you go outside. They also got some pretty nifty catwalks to go up so you can peer down at the passel of cows that are about to be sold.

It became obvious after a few auctions I attended that the auctioneer kept going to one or two…read morebidders that never raised their hand to bid. The quick head nod kept the bidding going higher and higher. I asked if consignors were allowed to bid on their own items to jack up prices and was reluctantly told YES. It became quite clear that the auctioneer played the legitimate bidder against bids from the consignor. The true good ole boy network of a small town I guess. Legal in Colorado apparently, but very poor business practice and should be disclosed throughout the auction in my opinion. One time I mentioned significant hidden damage to the staff on an item that was coming up soon. They whispered to the auctioneer, but nothing was said when the item came up. Buyer beware always, but be especially careful with this auction house!
