Blake was honest and upfront that contracting with his company might not make sense for a small home owners insurance claim because you can just do it yourself, but in our case, the 10% fee was totally worth not having to hassle with yet another element of this unexpected disaster. We believe he was also able to secure a higher payout because of his expertise. He showed up on time, when he said he would be there. Ray is very accessible via phone and email (and if you leave a message, he calls you back within 1-2 days tops) and has answered our (numerous) questions with language that a non-accountant can understand. I was most impressed with Ray when I called him (nearly in tears) while trying to do our 2014 taxes, which were complicated because my mother-in-laws' estate was now piggy-backed on our taxes. I called Ray, nearly hysterical, and explained what was happening with the online tax program. He calmed me down, had me walk him through the screens (which he couldn't see over the phone of course), and helped me to rectify the issue. In total, we were on the phone for over 20 minutes during his most busy time period. Ray is a really nice, helpful guy who is a very talented accountant. I highly recommend his services.
