If you think a rage room isn't your style, you are wrong. It was so much fun and so cathartic. Therapy and fun all wrapped up in one! The staff was beyond excellent, they even offered to extend our time because we hadn't smashed all of our bottles. You get to pick your own music so think about that beforehand! Really amazing experience and I am so excited that they are opening another location in Seekonk. We didn't do the splash room but I peeked in and it looked like it would be so much fun, especially for kids!

There have been some really innovative & timely exhibits such as a show celebrating the passing of 19th Amendment; a show of altered books; Native American art; the RI Open; young artists and many more. You can also catch improv comedy on Friday nights or take a class. Also a great place to send kids for summer art camp.

I arrived after/hours for the Closing Reception for the participants & was relegated to only 1 room for the event. It was a relatively small space & I'm not sure if there were other rooms. I also can't speak to what kind of art they normally display as I was only there for the event. What I can tell you is that the staff very enthusiastic about the gallery. They were so approachable & full of historical information about the venue. They certainly convinced me to come back at a later date! I was told by one of the patrons that this is one of the most under-appreciated galleries in the state & how they come here monthly. That being said, if you're looking for a museum, this isn't the place for you. But, if you're looking for a place to view local artwork, you should check it out & help support this community gem. I love a place that loves supporting the community!

My husband and I wanted to see about renting their hall for our wedding reception. We should have…read moreknown from the first encounter. We have seen the place and wanted to look at more places first. (Like every couple does) We finally agreed that this place would be a great spot. We call up the guy and set a date for deposit. We showed for the agreed time. No one was there. We called him and no answer. We sat around waiting for a half an hour. A lady who rents the hall, showed up. She called him. He answered. He told us to come back later in the evening to see him. WTF? We are already here. So, we head back later that night. All was good until the night before our wedding. We needed to meet up with the guy to get the keys. We showed up for the time agreed yet again. We called him after 15 minutes. And every 5 minutes after that. We called another employee who was pissed off himself that this guy pulled this crap yet again. The guy could not give us keys because he did not have a set but he drove a half hour out of his way to ensure we got what we needed. I thank that man ONLY. Now, the wedding cake has arrived and were sitting in 90 degree weather. YAY!! 2 hours later this guy finally shows up with the keys. He said he had to work late. HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED. The night of the wedding, he showed up earlier than expected to make sure the place was clean and get the keys back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
