for my stylist for…read morethe rest of the experience, and that star is hanging on by a thread If you've ever wanted to get your hair done inside a live‑action cautionary tale about hypocrisy, chaos, and what not to do as an adult, Beau Monde Coiffures is the place. My daughter and I both had multiple services done here every two weeks for months. My stylist is incredibly talented, kind, and professional, the only reason we kept walking through the door. Everything else? A full‑blown circus. Imagine sitting in a salon chair, trying to relax, when suddenly the elderly man who wanders around the place like a confused background character loudly announces that he has, in fact, soiled himself. Right behind you. While you're getting your hair done. Then he lies down on the heated floor, which looks exactly like someone collapsing, so everyone panics. When my stylist checked on him (because she's a decent human being), he snapped at her for daring to care. Apparently he just "likes the warm floor." Sure. Totally normal salon behavior. Then there's the other stylist, Becky, who seemed determined to make the environment as unpleasant as possible. I watched her talk down to my stylist, blame her for things she didn't do, and treat her with a level of nastiness that was honestly shocking. She also once commented on the true‑crime podcast my stylist and I were listening to in the back room during a lash appointment. According to her, listening to true crime "on repeat" means you'll eventually become whatever you're listening to, which is a fascinating take coming from someone who spends most of her day loudly trash‑talking people. By that logic, I'm not sure what she thinks she's turning into. And every single time I was there, her dad would sit in an empty chair like a permanent audience member. Together, they'd have long, loud conversations about their Christian values, and then immediately pivot to trashing people in the community with zero self‑awareness. It was like watching a live demonstration of "do as I say, not as I do." The moment that broke me was when the elderly man, yes, the same one who regularly announced his bathroom issues, said something so blatantly racist that my daughter and I just stared at each other. Hearing that kind of language in 2026, in a business, in front of customers, was beyond unacceptable. If you're looking for: * A salon experience that doubles as a sociological case study * A front‑row seat to behavior that should've been retired decades ago * A real‑life example of how not to treat people ...then sure, give it a try. But as for me? I will never step foot in this place again, and I absolutely refuse to let my daughter return to an environment like that.

She shaped up my $100 haircut so that I could finish a 100 day road trip in style. OMG That good of a cut for only $30. These hairdressers attend the International Hair Conventions in Paris every year! Don't overlook this gem of a salon. Don't believe Google Maps, that it's in a gas station, (which is next door). BeauMonde Coiffures is in its own building with a canvas awning!
