I don't think the location's physically accessible, as there are 2-3 steps in the front. I didn't use the bathroom, so I can't comment on that. I visited Rachel, and her services were fabulous. I had wanted a dramatic hair change, and brought photos. For the first time in my life, my haircut was exactly like the photos I brought in. I don't think I've had such a successful haircut before. I came back a few months later, and again, Rachel went above and beyond. I'll be returning and cannot recommend Rachel at Painted Hair Co. more.

I decided enough was enough and I would try the closest salon to me; the cat's meow. I have been regularly getting my hair cut here for around two years by Nicole. She's bleached, and dyed my hair vibrant colours. She made cuts appropriate for the length and my thick, wavy, huge amount of hair. (Including maintaining my pixie!) I have also had my nails done by Katie and Ashleigh. Both were done well and left me feeling like a million bucks! I can't gush about and recommend this salon enough. I am very sad to leave when I move out of Ottawa at the end of this summer.

The salon itself is always spotless, warm, and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The receptionist with long hair and big, Disney eyes (I didn't catch her name last time I was in) always offers me wine, coffee or tea and takes my jacket which I find to be a very nice touch. Their prices are not only reasonable, they're fair, and I am always thrilled with the end result. All the other staff that is working throughout the day seem to go out of their way to help each other, and I always have more than one person come up to me to say hi or to offer me something/offer their help.

The studio itself is nice and clean with friendly reception staff. I usually get a wash, cut and style done by Leah, but I have gotten a balayage done by her once and an Olaplex treatment. The pricing at the Hair Studio is reasonable for what you get, in my opinion. Leah always does an amazing job, ensuring that I am comfortable during the entire hair service and that I am fully content with my hair before I leave. She is professional, friendly and fun to talk to. She has good hair care advice and is always happy to give her hair cut and style recommendations before getting started. She really pays attention to what the client wants and she works with confidence (always a comforting thing to notice when she is working on your hair!). I highly recommend going to see Leah for your hair care. I plan to continue going to her as long as she keeps cutting hair!
