Unless you want your request completely disregarded, find another salon!!!! I can only speak to their eyebrow waxing service but after my experience, there is no way I'd trust them with my hair. I made it very clear that I'm happy with my eyebrow shape and only need the little peach fuzz hairs cleaned up between my brows and above and below. I said several times that I didn't want anything taken away from the shape. The lady doing my brows had nice thick brows so I felt like she understood. Nope, I got to the bathroom, as my eyes were still watering when I left the salon and my glasses were in my bag, and couldn't believe the botched job to my brows. I went in to get my brows cleaned up (waxed) and I got a totally different eyebrow. The lady was nice and I liked her. But what she did I will never forget. I really wish I could give the young woman who cut my hair a decent rating because she was sweet, but she did not listen to me AT ALL and I'm so disappointed with my hair. I repeatedly told her what I wanted. I wanted to make the angle of my cut more dramatic now that I've been able to grow out the front, short in the back and longest up front by my face. I already had this angle from my last cut, I just wanted it exaggerated. I told her many times I didn't want to lose length from the front. What I ended up with is a flat lined bob with face framing. She asked if she could face frame and I said, "I don't really want that, I don't want length off the front. But if you need to balance it go ahead." I also have very thick, naturally wavy hair and she didn't layer it so it lays properly. Instead it's almost too short to curl it and too choppy to straighten it, because yes the meager attempt at layering left obvious chopped sections along the bottom. My daughter got her hair done at the same time by another hairdresser. We asked for a trim with minimal length loss and layers that give her hair shape since she wears it down usually. What she got was zero layers, and 4 inches cut. We are both disappointed. read more

Absolutely the worst place ever! Went in to have a simple straight across the bottom cut and I swear the girl I got should not be allowed to touch anyone's hair! I have very wavy hair that she didn't even wet down to make it even for the cut and I walked out with the most uneven cut ever! Had to go to another hair salon to get it fixed! Awful Experience. I went in there to get my hair cut for the $15. It was slow but a lot of people were working there. All the employees were sitting in a corner chatting. I had to get their attention and finally a lady came over. She was not very friendly. She started cutting my haor and was completely distacted. She didnt talk to me or even ask what I wanted. She did an awful chop job on it... rushing to get it cut so she could join the conversation the other girls were having. She left my hair DRIPPING WET so I didnt see how bad it was until I got home. Everything was quite literally 2 inches off. I went into my usual hairdresser in Meijer and she was so shocked and sad of what they did to my hair. She didnt know someone could **** up a hair cut so bad. My hairdresser had to cut my hair really short to fix it and even then she couldnt undo what the lady at Wal-Mart Hair Salon did. I will never return there and I do tell those about my bad experience there. This was my second time going. The first wasnt too much better. read more
