    Normally I see Katie and she does a fantastic job of cutting my hair. I never had a complaint…read more But I foolishly decided that I needed a haircut and called for an appointment only to find that she was on vacation and they set me up with Savannah. I've never had a bad experience here so I figured I'd give it a shot. Omg. What a mistake I've made! I've never had such a bad experience at a hair salon. My appointment was set at 5pm and I show up on time. They told me that "it will only take a few moments" and that "they'll be with me shortly." I ended up waiting 20 mins for them to cut and style another customer's hair. At this point I'm getting peeved but they take me in and start my cut. She took 1 second to glance at the picture of the haircut I wanted; really simple- side bangs and a trim. She ignored my request to keep my bangs at eyebrow length and chops a straight line across my forehead. It looks like someone took a pair of safety scissors and hacked away at my hair. And I had to request that she would at least blow dry my hair because she would've let me walked out of that salon with my head still wet. I felt like crying at the end when she was done. I've pinned back my hair with so many bobby pins just so I don't look like a 10 year old boy.

Understand this, this is a chain hair salon and that is not always a bad thing when it comes to hair. Some of the best haircuts I have had were in chain salons and consider this, large chain stores have something to prove and grab a bigger piece of the market, they are invested in training, colors and customer service. I was a walk in and I stood there as there was a line to pay for service and product. That tells me something right away. I then looked at the staff, no train wrecks as some places have people whom are high talent but their person lives are a total mess. My wait was 15 mins and the person whom cut my hair and, I don't remember her name at all, sorry I just was not focused as I was tired. Ok, my hair style is short and I like 1/2 clippers and 1/2 scissors and I watched her buzz clip and she stopped and then asked if it was short enough? Nope, ok lets go a blade size down and she was 1/2 done and it was the wash cycle time. Over all she did a really good job. Here is what would have provided 5 stars. 1. If I was offered bottled water or hot tea/coffee 2. If the person cutting my hair was interested in the customer. If I have to trade off a good hair cut for lack of interest as being a human then it is an even trade.
