great experience, i've been a client for long enough to say the work produced is excellent and the attentiveness of the teams (in my case, James) is unparalleled in the digital marketing space. highly recommended and worth it - they're attentive, forward thinking, and produce results read more

I've been working with SmartSites since December 2024, and it has truly been an incredible experience. My project manager, Brandi, has been wonderful to work with--she's highly communicative and understands our business as if it were her own. She consistently responds to my questions and concerns quickly and thoroughly, and whenever I have small requests, she delivers promptly and always exceeds my expectations. The blog topics they create align perfectly with our niche, and thanks to Brandi and her team's efforts, we've seen a dramatic increase in sales within just one year. Our second year has already started off strong, and I'm especially excited to see how this upcoming holiday season performs, considering that last year we reached numbers we had never seen before. They've definitely earned a long-term client in us. SmartSites has become a crucial part of our growth, and I truly can't imagine our team without them. read more

We've been working with SmartSites for our digital marketing needs, and I can't say enough good things about them! From day one, our contact person Richard Gideon has been an absolute rock star. He's knowledgeable, proactive, and incredibly responsive--always ready with thoughtful recommendations and quick follow‑through. Richard really takes the time to understand our business and our goals, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping us succeed. Every interaction feels like we're working with a true partner, not just a vendor. The results we've seen so far speak for themselves, and the process has been smooth and stress‑free thanks to Richard's guidance. If you're looking for a marketing team that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend SmartSites--and if you can, ask to work with Richard. You'll be in great hands! read more

They misrepresent what they can do. Oversold and underdelivered. Would never recommend. Mostly they market themselves, not their clients.

Eddie V. has been successfully managing our social media for the last few months and we are so far pleased with the results. He is pleasant to work with, is very responsive, and understands our brand and intention. We definitely reccomend him for social media management. read more

SmartSites has provided my company with the tools to get the most out of my SEO needs. They have an amazing staff, and my Project Manager, Tori Biagi, has been amazing. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Used them for a short burst marketing campaign. Great service and expert advice on our Google ads endeavor. Thanks!

The company does not have offices. Went to the published address. NOTHING in the building for SmartSites. Began checking the testimonials on the website for Smartsites. Found some were completely false. Found one company they named and the owner of the businsess was most helpful and told me he never did business with SmartSites and the employee that Smartsites said gave the tesimonial never worked for them. This company seems all smoke and mirrors. Good at their promotion but NO FOUNDATION. I had the same experience as Illan A. and Branbon H. read more

Amazing local seo company overall, fixed all the issues with my site, wish everyone at smartsites happy holidays, special thanks to Ray, Stephanie and Anita, hope this company continue to thrive and all the best to all the staff read more

After paying for 5 months more than $2500 a month, simply the value is not there. I cannot attribute a single sale.

I have had the same experiences as the other recent negative reviews. My revenue dropped exponentially since I started using them. My holiday season was a failure because of them. Dollar revenues for December prior to Christmas was down 50% from last year. I recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

While using SmartSites I used the analytics to see just how well they "performed" and these are the numbers I obtained: 63% decrease in total revenue 66% decrease in online store sessions 68% decrease in Total Orders Placed 7% decrease in conversion rate. 72% decrease in sales attributed to marketing. Unfortunately I was blinded by the numerous positive reviews this company has and they could not meet the expectations of even maintaining my business at the level it was at prior to hiring them for SEO and PPC services. It's been a little over a year since my switch away from Smart Sites and I couldn't be happier using a freelancer. I had to contact Smart Sites to tell them that there was something wrong with the PPC campaign because of the dramatic decrease in revenue towards the end of of our run. I hired Smart Sites because this company claimed that they would be outranking my competitors and can provide me results better than anyone I have worked with in the past. The team needed to be on top of these critical errors and I should not have to contact the team a week into a prevalent issue. This issue should have been at the forefront of their concerns before I even knew about it. This was the reason why we pay top dollar for their services and how we were sold in the onboarding process. Although I know that Smart Sites may be juggling numerous accounts and a heavy workload, I have come to terms that the needs of my marketing campaign should be handled by a team that will give me their full dedication. read more

Smartsites has been great to work with. I have been specifically working with Michael and Matthew. Michael is handling my PPC marketing campaign. He is very thorough, really took time to understand my business needs, and continually tracks and provides me ideas to improve the campaigns. He's also VERY responsive - when I need something, he is quick to respond. I find that super important. Matthew has also been fantastic to work with. Matthew is project managing the design of our new website - start to finish. He has been phenomenal with offering suggestions and ways to improve the designs. he is extremely responsive and also took a lot of time to understand my business and needs. I highly recommend using Smartsites. They get it. They take time to understand your business. They are affordable and they care. read more

TL:DR, Don't believe the hype with smartsites. Mediocre seo strategy, a culture of no accountability and high costs for poor to no results. *********** I was duped by the great reviews on smartsites. We entered into a contract for managed PPC and SEO. Right away there were a few red flags, but I thought since they have such great reviews let's give them a little time. First bad decision. The PPC 'team' could not figure out a very basic FB pixel issue. Over 6 weeks of back and forth for a minor problem that turned out not to be a problem at all! They were supposed to fix the campaign structure. This never got done. They used the same setup that was already there. They did not even change any audience structure. Every time you bring up an issue to these guys they say, 'let me check with my team'. I heard that more than 10 times. By the way they are outsourcing all work overseas. This wouldn't be a bad thing if they got results. The strategy from the SEO 'team' was very basic. No creativity at all. Each time I raised concerns, again I was met with 'let me check with my team and get back to you'. It would take at least a week to get back to me. Overall our traffic dropped more than 50% in the time they took over. Smartsites charges block time starting at $2000 for 40 hours / per month. When I tried to cancel and get my last payment refunded due to the fact there is no way possible they did 40 hours of work, they fought to the death. All in all we paid them $7500 over the course of 3 months to lose us a ton of money and cause a lot of damage. I wish they would have worked on our account half as hard as they fought to not give us any type of refund. The owners Alex and Mike would never reply to any of my emails. It appears that the culture of no accountability starts at the top. read more

I selected SmartSites based upon what appeared to be good experience and positive reviews in the areas of SEO and web site development. They seemed knowledgeable and were very responsive prior to signing the contract. However, the engagement did not go smoothly. Weekly calls with my assigned Project Manager were filled with the words "I'm sorry" as the PM had to continually appologize for all the issues and problems. SmartSites seemed to fumble at almost every turn in building our website - breakdowns in communication, poor quality work, and a "check list" approach which focused more on just ticking off tasks We also used SmartSites for monthly SEO services. Content was of poor quality, inappropriate and they often billed for unproductive time, and when asked about it refused to provide proper documentation. My experience appears to be unique given all of the other 5 star reviews, so it is possible there were unique circumstances at play. However I recommend future customers to do their due dilligence and ensure SmartSites is the right marketing firm for them. read more

I had been looking for some help with online marketing for my event company and got referred to SmartSites by a contact in my industry. I have to say, the Melen brothers went above and beyond! Alex was always available to answer any of my questions and for someone who is a novice with this stuff he really broke down how to get my company and inventory more exposure online. I can not recommend these guys more! read more

Love SmartSites and Alex Melen's PPC knowledge. The team answers emails so quickly! They have a full staff with a wide range of domain expertise. We are very happy with results. SmartSites is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful company. My company needed a completely new website and they made the process painless and fun! From the beginning, they did their best to communicate with me and provide me with as much information about the process as possible. We were presented with a powerpoint about their services which was great for us because we were new to the website process. They worked with us on customizing the website exactly how we wanted and were dedicated to getting us our perfect website. Irina Mircica was an amazing project manager. We were in desperate need of a website remodel to match the professionalism of our established but growing home remodeling business, and a new investment business. After interviewing several companies, we selected SmartSites based on several factors, including value of service for fees, professionalism and reputation/reviews. I was not sorry I did. The whole team - and our project manager Irina in particular - did a fanstastic job. Irina was always available, had great input and ideas, and kept me on tract to ge thte website completed. Im so happy to have found Smartsites! My website was designed beautifully and it was a pleasure to work with Irina, Mike and Ryan.

Excellent Service at an affordable price. I initially chose SmartSites because of their proximity to my business's location and their high reviews. I was not disappointed, the staff was very timely in setting up an interview where I was presented with a presentation designed to visualize my new website and assess its functionality. The helpful staff did an excellent job of creating an eye-catching website for both browsers and mobile devices. They are very transparent about their work pricing and support services, presenting you with the full array of options and budgets instead of the hard sell on what's most profitable. If I had one caveat, it would be that I was not prepared to have all the documentation and data they needed readily available, and it seriously impacted my development time. Be sure you have all your site's data and information available when you start, to avoid any delays! read more

I just want to personally thank the people at SmartSites for taking great care of my marketing project. I felt really comfortable spending my money with them from start to finish. When I randomly walked into SmartSites with no appointment Rich and one of the developers sat down with me for almost an hour to help me improve my marketing. In that hour we discussed my goals, my website, ways they could help, and ways I could improve my business on my own for free. IIrina was my project manager and did a really good job communicating with me and making sure the team got everything done. Irina came up with great ideas on what would convert better for my customers and by the end of my project I was left thinking I got the deal of a lifetime from SmartSites. In today's day and age, it is hard to sift through all of the companies out there that specialize in web development and internet marketing as everyone claims to be an expert.
