This time there was an older man who assist me. What I liked was he specifically said your battery is fine just needs to be charged (he asked if I had left the car running etc) I explained no. Usually as women we are often overcharged and taken advantage of regarding car issues but he was nice enough to be honest, offer a temporary solution and help me resolved my problem for good. After doing some online research, I decided that it would be wise to consult a professional rather than risk electrocution by tinkering with it myself. I was unsure if I would even be able to find a place in Birmingham that could service a nearly 50 year-old amp, but ERC told me that they could fix me up. They installed and biased my new tubes and replaced a few inner parts, and it sounded like a brand new amp. However, the next day, I noticed that the audio was weak again. I contacted the shop and was assured that they would fix it for me. They were very apologetic and fixed it without any extra charges. The amp has sounded great ever since. I definitely know where to go the next time I need any help.
