I find nearly all of the reviews I just read regarding Pacific West Law very difficult to believe…read more Partly because the One Star review left on Google by my neighbor--and also a Plaintiff resulting from the same incident--has disappeared from these reviews. But mostly due to the fact that I, in no ways, received the stellar service and attention that Pacific West would lead potential clients to believe they will receive. I had a very clear case, one in which there was very little room, if any, for the defendants to deny liability. My Plaintiff Neighbor and I both explicitly requested that these cases be kept separate, as they were very different even though they resulted from the same event. I was unequivocally forthright and honest--as interpreted by myself and confirmed by the only two witnesses--in what had transpired, and my husband and I were assured I would receive the individual consideration we were requesting. And everything seemed positive in the early stages. However, I'm quite sure it was around the EXACT MOMENT the attorney for our case found out there was a clause in the insurance policy of the defendant that would require litigation, that our attorney at Pacific West Law forgot who I was. And had to be reminded each time I called that yes, you agreed to represent me, even if there wasn't an easy settlement (which there would have been had our case not been piggybacked on the neighbors case). It was very obvious Pacific Law was not interested in seeing the case through, as they didn't even contact the witnesses on my behalf. But they also didn't want to release me from our contract in the event I did receive payment (that they could take nearly half of), knowing I was obviously going to get some form of payment in the end. I am including some photos for visual aide only. These are difficult to see given the placement and lighting, but there are scars from the deep puncture wounds I had on both sides of my hand. Of course there are large gaps of what transpired in this review. I haven't given any specifics to maintain the privacy of my neighbor and the defendants. If you are basing your choice of legal representation based from the online reviews you read and would like more details feel free to contact me. I will gladly give you any information I have that will help you choose the law firm you deserve, and not waste what you are due by going with this firm.
