This prompted threats of litigation by the company, despite the fact that the review was totally honest. They refused at every turn to do the right thing. Even after promising to follow up, they chose to ignore my calls and emails. Here are some things I would rather do than have to deal with People's Choice Moving and Storage again: Be stuck in an elevator full of people wearing Axe body spray. Shave with a rusty butter knife that's covered in lemon juice. Be forced to listen to a playlist consisting of nothing but "Achy Breaky Heart," Nickelback, and novelty songs on a continuous loop. I think you get the idea. There is nothing else to do but laugh at the absurdity of my experience with them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this sketchy company.

They said they could do it and gave me a quote right there over the phone for a two hour minimum and what it would cost for every hour there after. I guess I'm just so use to getting taken, that I just assumed, at that low a price, that they would take their time and get at least three hours out of the move. BOY was I wrong, not only did the show up promptly at the appointment time they were courteous and polite. They inventoried everything that needed moving and we did the necessary paperwork and then they got right to work. I had furniture for a 4 bedroom home which included dressers and highboys and large end tables plus couches and corner cabinets, and book shelves. Not only did we get all the bulk items loaded but we also got all of the little stuff moved as well and all done in less that two hours. I would highly recommended this company for your moving needs. Neil determined over the phone that it would take two days for us to complete the move. Zach, John, Gabe & Gregg, both teams, were very conscientious of their work. Gabe moved our stereo and opened the lid to remove a vinyl record to prevent it from being scratched; to me, that revealed that they cared. The teams were very patient with my 88-year-old mother as she decided where to put those heavy dressers. They even took the time to relocate some of her furniture. When the move was complete, they tallied up the time and charged us $270.00 less than the original quote. They are setting a new standard in the moving industry. I just can't say enough good about Little Guys Movers.

They showed up, on time and no request or suggestion was met with scorn (which is a thing that has happened in the past). They handled my furniture with great care, from the "big girl" nice stuff to my IKEA remnants and 25 year old bookcases. There were no complaints - none, zero, zip. No "gotcha" cheap shots, nothing. It truly was white glove service. I was impressed I was able to book at the last minute but I guess when you are moving out of season it's possible to find availability. The cost could be considered towards the high end but as someone who has moved "cheaply" many a time before - you can either randomly chose a prized possession or two to sacrifice or you can pay a little more and arrive at your destination with everything in it's original state. Jade and his crew are great I highly recommend College Hunks and Jade in particular. When I move again (deep heavy sigh) I intend to use them again.

I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

On my moving day, I received an automatic text that said my move was canceled due to staff having covid, and to call and reschedule. The packing was done on a different day than the moving. On packing day, two gentlemen showed up, stayed for a little under two hours, packed less than a dozen boxes, and said what they didn't pack would be OK to take as-is, and left. That delightful experience put me back $500. On moving day, the movers showed up late morning, announced that the job would take them six hours tops, and then proceeded to move as slow as humanly possible getting the truck loaded, all the while complaining about how poor the packing was, how the lack of adequate packing was slowing down the job, arguing about having to load things that were included on the quote, complaining about how they needed a bigger truck, etc., etc. Upon leaving they did about half the job that was asked for the full $1100. So here I am, $1600 poorer, still not moved and renting a U-Haul to finish the job myself. This company used to be good, but I won't be using them anymore. Thanks for nothing.
