I highly recommend you see them if you are looking for a doctor that cares..... They listen and do their best to make sure you get healthy, and remain healthy... God bless them richly for putting the health of their patients first... Thank you to all at Smart Heart Care read more

I would agree with other people that doctor Chander is one of the best heart doctors that I have encountered in Vegas. I was in need of a new primary care physician, so I ended up here on a recommendation of a friend. My first appointment with the primary care physician, I found out that they had a cardiologist next door. So, I switched cardiologists. One building with two different services. Very convenient for sure! After three visits, the doctor found out my heart was working properly. My blood pressure was being controlled by three different medications. I mostly like that Dr. Chander only sees patients in one office. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. read more

I'm here for a six month check up with my husband and I can't believe I have not reviewed this business prior to this visit. Dr. Chander has been my heart specialist for over seven years. He has such a well run office and everybody is so efficient and kind. His assistant, Brianna, is off the chart amazing. I love Dr. Chander and his expertise. He never pushes you to do anything that you're not comfortable with doing. He's not a pill pushing doctor, which is something that's important to me. If you're in need of a good cardiologist, look no further. read more

I have been with both Dr. Mahajan and Dr. Chandler for the past 8-9 years. They are both always attentive and know my history.

Very caring and answers my questions! His nurse is very good too! So nice to know my health is important--/ not just an appt! read more

Just horrible. Was in hospital. They discharged me to see my cardiologist. I got there day after discharge. Dr. Chander did the normal flank pain poking on my stomach as I have a AAA. When he got to my kidneys he just poked harder and harder to the point he was doing it on purpose while complaining he shouldn't have to do kidneys. Sorry Dr. I didn't ask you to. Walked to receptionist and told her my new dr would get my records and walked out. read more

I'm used to medical groups where every sort of physician that you need is within a network. Here in Vegas, YELP has been my tool in finding decent specialists and so far so good! Giving birth to twins has done a number on my body post partum. Part of that is dealing with the high blood pressure and irregular heart beats.. something that never was an issue before. I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Chander within the same week of calling. I've had several follow ups including an echo, to assess what's up. I've even gotten a same Day emergency appointment, with a bit of a wait of course. While there could be some time where you have to wait, once the doctor is in room you don't feel totally rushed or brushed off. Only complaint is that their copays tend to be a little pricey but I'm sure that's an insurance thing.. guess you get what you pay for. We're managing with regular appointments and medicine refills which I can appreciate. I believe his wife also works in office as a primary care doctor. Check out Smart Health Care for any needs you may have! read more

While the whole staff and Dr Chandra really go out of their way to make your visit pleasant and professional be wary of the receptionist. She is very rude crusty and will never advise you on checkout for next follow up unless you ask. A real downer for such caring and pleasant staff. Brianna is perfect compliment to the staff and goes to extremes to be welcoming and accommodating. read more

After refusing to run additional tests, Dr. Chander told me "I'm 99% sure nothing is wrong with your heart because you don't look sick." I asked him about being tested for POTS and he said it was pointless because there was no treatment. He also falsified my records by not recording the symptoms I discussed with him. Instead he wrote that I had anxiety. He was unhelpful and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. With the help of my PCP, I found a cardiologist who listened to me, ran tests, got me treatment, and I'm finally starting to feel better. His 99% intuition was wrong, you can't tell if someone is sick based on looks alone... Not all disabilities are visible. read more

Dr Chander has both feet planted in patient care first..good grasp of what cardiac patients needs are and when to be aggressive and when to chill. I'm happier not being in the cook book mill of some other cardiologists in town... PS..I'm a retired MD read more

Doctor Chander and staff are very professional and courteous. My first day there I was treated with respect and allowed to air my concerns and not feel like I wasn't being heard. Since then I've been there four more times for follow up test/visits and my experience has been the same. Glad I chose Dr. Chander as my cardiologist. read more

I was looking for a new primary care and found this place. Ashley PA-C is so thorough, nice and definitely listens as I had a medical concern I wanted to discuss and she did what she needed to take care of it! I'm glad I found this clinic, as well as Ashley. I am happy that I officially found my new PCP! read more

As with any service - medical or otherwise - the people make all the difference. Everyone I encountered here was caring and friendly - really helped me relax. If you're going to see a cardiologist it's always a little bit scary. Experience with Dr. Chander is excellent.. straight talk - no messing around with lots medical mumbo-jumbo trying to impress. Very professional. Actually asked me if i had questions or concerns - then answered succinctly! I really appreciated that! JC does the ultrasound.. Adam does painless IV (thank you SO much), Radiography and chemical administration. Both guys were Special tip of the hat to Brittany. She is the first and last person you speak with for appointments. First person you see for paperwork when you arrive plus I witnessed her cleaning and straightening up entire office suites AND encouraging other patients who were having a difficult time. All with a cheery disposition that is almost nonexistent in the service businesses lately. Extraordinary young lady!! read more

Dr Chander (and his staff) is one of the last great doctor's left in town. He doesn't order unnecessary tests, and never rushes his exam. While many doctors overbook their schedules- he seems to be one few doctors who actually ever runs on time. read more

WOW! Who knew I would be walking into a heart center in my mid 20's... Either way I was having anxiety already due to upcoming surgery but my ekg was a little off so the primary doctor wanted to double check all was well... The scheduling for this place was simple & easy when I called they were able to help me right on the spot. The lady I spoke with i THINK her name was Arianna (not 100 % sure) but she got all my insurance infor over the phone & got an appointment to see the doctor ASAP due to my rush for clearance. When I got there i completely forgot my insurance card & I was LATE! The ladies in the front were SO SWEET & just told me I could go back home to grab it & come back when they reopen afyer lunch break which was at 1. I was in & out of the office within an hour & doctor said I was good after a couple more tests which were scheduled right away. Overall time I spend at a doctor's office is least of my favorites considering I have always been healthy... i have also had such BAD experiences with other doctors in las vegas, so it's nice to have nice & efficient doctors that actually exist! read more

Dr CHANDER and his staff Molly and Gloria are Great!!! Took my mom here for a 2 PM appointment and was seen at 2 PM ON TIME!!! The last Dr we saw we had a 2 Hour wait after her appointment!! If you want SUPER FRIENDLY staff and a GREAT doctor come to see DR CHANDER!!! It's right across from SPANISH TRAILS!! read more

Dr. Chander and his entire staff are remarkable. Dr. Chander always ends our appointment making sure I have no other questions. I have stopped him while he is walking out of the room because I think of another question and he never acts irritated or bothered. The administrative staff is just as caring and remarkable. I am always greeted BY NAME and treated with such kindness. In my experience, in Las Vegas, this is extremely hard to come by! I am so thankful that at a scary time in my life, I was referred here! read more

The office staff are very friendly and polite. For me, punctuality is valued at a premium; each visit has started right on time and with very little wait for the doctor once inside the examination room. Dr. Chander has a good bedside manner and is very informative about prognosis and next steps. JC was very friendly and made my treadmill and echocardiogram process very enjoyable. read more

Was sent there by my primary Care Doctor who questioned my EKG and Echo as a precaution to me having surgery. I was deeply impressed with the staff who answered questions honestly without hesitation about the procedures I had to go through for a cardiac clearance. Being 42 and healthy your whole life it was rather hard to get news that you needed to see a cardiologist. My Doctor recommended Dr. Keshav Chander at Smart Heart Care. I have been seeing him for months now and have been so pleased and happy with them. I was already not a fan of any medication but definitely needing something. Dr. Chander is the nicest and so personable. Plus he won't just thrfow a bunch of medications at you. Even tge pharmacist at CVS was pleased with his approach. We started slow on dose but aggressive with treatment as I went back monthly to check up on my reaction to them Like are the working? Do i need a higher dose or just add another med? Is it causing any issues elsewhere like ED. He completely cares over all. We finally got the formula down and it has fixed other issues I had. Hope to come off of them and we have a plan for that to but sometimes DNA and mother nature wins. But for now Thank you Dr. Chander and staff. All of you are great!!! read more

Had my first appointment today with Dr C and it was amazing; great bed side manner and took the time to review my prior medical records. His staff was very polite and attentive. Another great point was that I did not have to wait long; I was seen within 3-5 minutes of my appointment. He also talked extensively to me about my treatment of HB and my heart; great regime was provided. read more
