Tuesday night broke glassdoor to fireplace insert.  Wednesday am started Googleing fireplace locations near me.  I found 1 in Durango, 1 in pagosa, & 1 in Farmington.  Call the 1 in Durango,  Message stated that it was busy season and they will call back 24 to 48 hours.  Decide I would take the glassless door,  personally to the shop if there even was a shop.  But on the way I found SMART enterprises on Main Street. SMART enterprises did not show up on my Google search.  But because SMART enterprise had fireplace written on the window, we decided to stop.  Saleswoman inside was very very knowledgeable about fireplaces, fire inserts and jacuzzis. She stated it would be no problem to fix the glass on our fire place door.  15 minutes after we left the shop we gotta a call saying the glass door was ready for pickup.   Unbelievable so quick!  Note: Thursday I got a call from 1st fireplace shop. They ask me what the brand was of my fireplace insert, I really didn't know but they said they probably couldn't get the glass anymore for this fireplace and that I would have to replace the whole door. WHAT?... I just thanked him.  One thing I wish SMART was not so pricey on the repair BUT I'm happy that my fireplace is as good as new. read more

My estimate for a windshield was just a hair under 660 dollars, by comparison Sunglass in Farmington charges 305. Most Durango shops come in around 375. Crazy high prices at Smart glass. read more

I have had nothing but great service and results with Smart Enterprise. I have had chips repaired in my windshield which made it look like new and have had a couple of shower doors installed by them which look and function fantastically. The staff and technicians were knowledgable, courteous, and after our installation of our shower doors they totally cleaned up after they were done, which often does not happen with other service individuals. We did have a minor issue with one of the shower doors, the magnetic strip came loose after about 6-7 months. They totally took care of the issue and replaced the strip at no charge. Couldn't be more unhappy with this company. When our stove quit working (the only source of heat in part of our house), we contacted this company about getting parts. They couldn't identify the parts, told us that parts would have to be delivered to Smart Enterprises then conveyed to our local company, and after another week of no responses, wouldn't even return our phone calls. We found a company in California who identified the stove and the parts needed and had them shipped directly to us. So obviously just incompetence is the problem. read more

Do not expect quality work from this business! Ordered front storm door and patio door last spring, they got the orders wrong. Ripped out the old patio door, destroying stucco along the side, then put the wrong door in upside down as a "filler" until the new door came in (this after waiting six weeks for the doors to come it). 6 weeks later (12 weeks total), the doors are still not here despite the promise to "expedite" the order. All we got from their service was torn out stucco and an upside down patio door! Absolutely poor quality, low-grade service! Do not do business with Smart Enterprises!! read more

Smart Enterprises was recommended to me as a great place to get my old stove renovated with natural gas logs. So glad I followed this recommendation. Kira spent time helping me pick out logs that I never would have noticed without her guidance: beautiful and economical birch logs. She also hooked me up with the plumber who could install the pipes necessary. Clint and John came to evaluate what I would need: did a thorough job of checking that my chimney pipe was sound, installed the logs with expertise, and were delightful people to have around. Based upon my experience, I would not recommend this business. Technical work on hot tub took months and was never resolved.
