Stay away from this place. After getting a Groupon deal for my cracked Screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and an additional Groupon for tempered glass, I went to their West 14th Street location. I was told I had to wait 2 days for the part to come in. I waited patiently 2 days for my white screen, just to be told they only had black. I was not happy buy needed my phone so I and got the screen fixed in about four hours. Again I was told to come back 5 days later for the tempered glass. Then when I looked at my screen more closely, I saw oil or moisture under the glass. I called and was told nothing could be done till Saturday, two days away. I called Saturday and was told I had to come back Monday for both the fix of the oily screen an the tempered glass that I had been waiting all week for. I calmly came back again Monday and I waited to get the note 4 fixed. The repair guy broke my LCD screen while doing the simple repair/cleaning. Obviously he knew it was his fault, so I got a receipt for no charge and was told I had to wait till Wednesday for the part to come in. Now keep in mind that there was no information about waiting for parts on Groupon, in the store, or on their website, and they fix just about every smartphone. Today is Wednesday and I called again and now have to wait till Monday for the phone to be fixed, a full week after their staff broke my LCD. I called the Grand Central office and was told I would be contacted, which I wasn't. You would be an idiot to risk taking any phones to these crooks. If I done get my phone soon I will report it stolen. I plan to complain to GROUPON as well. read more

I was on holiday here and while taking photos I dropped my iPhone 6S.The screen was completely shattered.I needed back my device pretty fast to continue on my holiday and I saw this store!I told them what had happened and they told me they will be able to fix it in the next 6 hours for a very cheap price! I asked them if they could do it sooner and WOW! I got a call on my wife's phone an hour later saying that it was done.I couldn't believe it! I went and picked it up and it was working as I just got a new one! I'm not a person that needs an repair from a different company than Apple, but oh boy, they've fooled me! I found out this store and I fell in love with the personality of the people working there and of the quick delivery, besides the good service. My iPhone broke a few months ago and the warrant already as passed on. Instead of paying a absurd quantity of money, I went to SmartDevice and they've fixed for half the price that is normal for fixing this type of device. Well, I'm happy with them. The only downside is that they only fix Samsung or iPhone, so it's a little disappointment in the middle of so many good qualities of them. Great store! read more

My wife's Iphone 5s had not been charging properly, then just went dead. I took it in to Smart Device Professionals on a Saturday by 1pm, left it with the receptionist for a 24 hour free quote. They rang on Monday morning to inform me of what was wrong and gave the price which was in all honesty very affordable as I had been expecting something above what was quoted to repair and replace parts. What really impressed me about Smart Device Professionals is how honest they were. What you will normally expect from most electronic device repairers is them coming up with issues just to make money off you. However, this was not my experience with this company. The quotation they gave me was the best after visiting 3 other phone repairers. If I break something again, I'll definitely take it there for repairs. read more

My Samsung Galaxy glass was broken, I went to couple of local shops and they said I have to change my LCD which cost lot of money. I found these guys who did glass replacement in less than an hour and charged half-price than the other guys. They also gave me a free Tampered glass on top of that. These guys are awesome. read more
