Recently I was having the front end shaking on the highway and took it in to Roberts who told me my transmission was going out and it was $9k to replace it. I immediately preceded to the next department and begun to solicit a purchase of a new F150 truck that had a sale going on, it was $60k and they gave me $1800 for the edge. I checked other places and at the last minute I decided to get a second opinion and found out my front tires had different tread, 1/4 of difference which made the transmission work, get warm, etc. I bought two new tires some where else, had a transmission flush, fuel service, and after spending roughly $1500 and now going on two months the shaking is gone and the car is fine. Be careful, don't take their word for it, seek a second opinion, it paid off for me. Eventually I will get a new F150 but not from them.

At the June visit I was instructed that my tires were still in good shape and 1 month later I was instructed that I was in need of 4 new tires. When I picked up my car which had the 4 new tires I questioned what could have happened to destroy the tires so quickly. I should have never asked. I was treated poorly by the Service Advisor with eye rolling and smirking like I was an idiot. Not that it matters, but I hold a Masters degree. No need to disclose my gender, however; I am concerned that I am not the only individual to be treated in such a manner. I later learned from the Service Manager and assistant Manager that the Service emlpoyees make a commission when adding additional services which can be completed on the cars. I personally will never return to this car dealer. It is everyone's personal choice, but I would suggest always getting a second opinion before allowing them to work on your Honda. You may end up with something that is totally unnecessary.
