She would not listen to me and went on screaming and calling me "rude". I don't think it's unrealistic to assume that paying $130 for flowers should mean they actually get delivered. Katie did not feel that way so she canceled my order and left my 95 year old mother who lives around the corner from her shop with nothing for Mother's Day. This whole episode is the precise opposite of what a florist should provide which is comfort and beauty. This business is spreading hate. No one needs that and certainly not on this holiday. Please do not bring them your business or rely on them.

From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding flowers were absolutely perfect, she was jsut the freaking best! I knowww that I was VERY particular about my wedding bouquet! I was so anxious, I flipped back and forth a million times in an email thread and she was an absolute ANGEL throughout the entire process. She spent so much time on the phone with me, sent multiple photos, talked through different options, and reassured me over and over again whenever I started second-guessing my decisions. Not once did she make me feel like I was being difficult or asking too much. Instead, she was patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I loved the final result. That level just meant so much to me, during all the stress! Something else I really appreciated was her HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY. She was upfront about which flowers she could realistically source from growers and which ones might not be available. Rather than making promises she couldn't guarantee, she communicated clearly and helped me understand my options. I trusted her completely because of that! And the PRICING!! Before finding her, I had received a quote from another florist that was nearly DOUBLE what she charged for comparable arrangements. Idk it just feels like weddings can sometimes come with inflated prices just because the word "wedding". Finding someone who offered such beautiful work at a genuinely reasonable price who never made me feel pressured or taken advantage of - like these are the kinds of people who deserve thriving businesses! The quality of her work was absolutely outstanding, and she knew SO much about flowers, the shape, the colors, the seasons, which ones would wilt too quickly in the heat etc. Pickup was unbelievably easy, and our flowers were beautifully prepared and ready to go the moment we arrived. My bouquet was everything I had hoped for and MORE! She also created the most beautiful ground floral arrangement for our ceremony. More than anything though, the QUALITY and LONGEVITY of these flowers!! They stayed beautiful for DAYS after our wedding. In fact, FIVE DAYS LATER, they were still in such wonderful condition that I was able to bring some of them to my grandmother's grave, which was incredibly meaningful to me. I also contacted a professional flower preservation company about having my wedding flowers preserved, and after inspection they confirmed that the flowers were still in good enough condition to work with! FIVE DAYS after our wedding!! I mean, c'mon! Melissa was someone who listened, reassured me, respected our budget, and helped us bring magic to life and the floral quality was top tier - it was so special they lasted long enough to honor my grandmother's death anniversary. Such was the case yesterday, when I needed not one, but two special arrangements to celebrate some accomplishments for co-workers. Yelp's always been super handy in situations like this, allowing me to do a regional search that includes features like "open now", and "same-day delivery", but let's face it--you're really putting your trust in the florist, and it's a roll of the dice. The good news is, Carolina, the shop's owner, answered the phone, and my anxiety immediately faded. She was very friendly, helpful, and reassuring. The arrangements showed up earlier than expected, and both recipients were blown away by the results.

If you didn't know, it's rare to see a mock up of your bouquets/centerpieces ahead of the big day because of costs, so you're truly putting your trust in the florist - thankfully, Rissa and Studio Palma are deserving of your trust! My husband and I put so much thought into various little details that filled the room, but I'm confident the floral arrangements and design MADE the atmosphere what it was.
