Got a top notch mocha here. Roast their own beans there and you can tell it's notch above most coffee shops. Atmosphere felt like what's missing in most places - community. Barista was super friendly and on the ball with Customer service. The place pepped me up. Thanks for a great place! read more

Baristas are so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I went in not knowing what I wanted, and after a few short questions they set me up with my new go-to drink!! The vibe is homestyle/ chill & I hear they do BREAKFAST too read more

Wow, what a awesome experience. This place has a great service, a great chef, great barista, great atmosphere, great food, and is well worth a stop. We brought our five children plus a friend. Staff was so nice and wonderful! read more

Sorry folks. Great reviews but this place is a rip off and you all probably were not aware of it. First, they charge a higher price than what is posted on their blackboard. The answer I got was that the balckboard did not have update prices. Second, they charge up to an additional 25% for paying by CC. Ordered a Machiato and the price listed is $3.64 and ended up being charged $4.55. When I said I pay cash, the price dropped to $3.89. Think about how many of us have not made the math and ended up paying so much more. This is shameful! read more

Just passing through town today and stopping in for the first time ever... the shorter gal with the dark hair behind the counter is the SWEETEST!! It's refreshing to meet young people that are so kind! Such great customer service and the best coffee. read more

Here is an update: We visited recently, and our experience was much better this time. During our first visit, we encountered some issues and were offered a refund via email, but I didn't respond to that offer. For this recent visit, the service at the bar was excellent, and it was a different staff than before. The food and coffee were both good as well. Temp inside could be cooler. read more

I think this location is OK, but we felt a little bit misled. It has a lot of locals love it, but the coffee is just OK. They don't have a lot of options. It's hot as crap in there in the winter. There were a lot of homeless people on the outside I wasn't fully excited or felt safe. read more

Very cute local coffee shop in the middle of main street Rutherfordton. I got their BluMonkey specialty cold brew. It was fantastic; smooth and full of flavor. I love that they use huge ice cubes that take a long time to melt. My partner got the cappuccino and said that the milk to coffee ratio for their cappuccino was perfect and the coffee was very flavorful to other coffee options in the area. Highly recommend visiting! read more

Just happen to go by and see this quaint place off the main road. A cute locals coffee shop that roasts their own coffee beans. We decided to stop in and get a coffee. The coffee we tried was a dark roast and had a very good flavor. Being big coffee drinkers we love stronger coffee that tastes like coffee. The employee named Virginia was friendly and personable perfect for this business! She is a asset for working here. Talks to all her customers when they come in. She explained to us about the coffee and how it is roasted there and is fresh. Great conversation with her and customers that came in. We did not know they were here, glad we found this place. Open till 4 and she said the hours may change to later soon. If your close by and love coffee its a must try! They have outside seating on the patio as well as inside. They also sell the bags of coffee and will grind for you as well. We will stop back again sometime for sure!! read more

A small coffee shop in a small town with limited choices. The coffee is okay. Very limited parking unless you find on street parking.

Strolling through Downton Rutherford (-Tony, town?? Still confused) and stumbled on this gem just off main. Roasted in-house with several different roasts to choose from. Grab a cup of coffee, espresso, latte, or tea and take home some fresh roasted beans! Great service, deck outside to stop and enjoy, and the coffee was fantastic. read more

By far the best variety of roasted coffee in town and, a variety of homemade bakery goodies. I so enjoy the friendly and welcoming 'casual' atmosphere. Speaking of friendly and welcoming, I would be remiss to mention the two of my favorite servers: JACKI and JAY They are able to to cool, calm, and; collective, treated each patron with courtesy and a smile. Thank you, Jacki and Jay. susan read more

I am blown away to find this incredible gem just moments off the main drag, tucked off to the side, cuddled up in my parking spot to walk into the incredible aromas of roasting coffee and an earl gray chocolate cake with lavender icing. I'M SORRY. WHAT. Yeah. I needed a 3pm pick-me-up and this place fit the bill so well it almost seems like it dropped outta heaven and onto the corner in "Ruffton." Between the fantastic cuppa to the unreal baked goods to the kindness in the service staff and wifi password, I can't WAIT until my next stop through town. #bulkingseason read more

Stopped by for the first time the other day and totally loved it! Cute place and I love the artsy vibe! Was greeted by this really nice dude who had some great suggestions and some genuine conversation. I tried a cold brew hat had mocha and blueberry flavor, it was super good! The coffee was ground fresh and the cold brew didn't taste acidic at all, which I was happy about. They don't open until 7:30 which is a bit of a bummer for me, wish they opened just a little bit earlier at 7:00. But the timing will prevent me from being a regular, totally wish I could though, because y'all had me sold! read more

Delicious freshly roasted coffee and kind workers. I love their hot mochas and iced chai lattes.. For iced drinks, they have cold brew ice cubes to keep your drink from getting watered down. Their brownies and coffee bars are decadently rich and make for a perfect mid-day pick me up. If looking for good coffee or a sweet treat you've found your place. read more

Love this coffee shop! Open even during the snow storm. Great espresso drinks-my favorite is the Americano. So smooth. They are friendly and it feels like home. So happy they have a kiosk now at the hospital! It's in the outpatient area and the quality is equal to the home base on court street. This is a great local coffee shop. It's such a great place for small town NC. Nice offering of coffee drinks. They roast their own beans onsite and so it does not get any fresher in roasting. Service was great, really friendly and laid back. Good wifi as well to knock out some stuff online. Limited seating since it is a small place, but it gives a great vibe. Would highly recommend it. read more

Awesome little coffee shop. Amazing smells. Great small town ambience and wonderful service. Just off the main drag and not much signage. Its definitely worth finding! We saw this shop on the town directory and stopped in. I asked their advice on a medium blend and took them up on their offer to sample two of their coffees. I bought a bag of their Yirgacheffe to take with me. The coffee samples were great. And, the home made brew from their beans is spectacular.
