Saul and his crew were awesome. Great communication. Had to call back and he was more than happy to assist.

How do you thank a crew that came and removed the biggest fear and eyesore you've been living with…read morefor the past year? By telling people about the amazing work they do in construction. I was referred to Fraser General Contracting on Nextdoor. I called him and he and his manager came out to look at my rockwall which was almost falling in parts and I was afraid the walkers below would be hurt. I also wanted him to remove the horrible fountain that we dubbed Jabba the Hutt and level it and concrete it over. Their quote wasn't the lowest and wasn't the highest of the 5 we called, but in the middle. What I liked was how honest he was as to what he can do and what he couldn't. He was always able to be reached about questions I had about the construction, demo, and warranty of the work. He's licensed and bonded and gave me the quote and invoice and was happy to warranty the work for a couple of years. He also didn't collect any money until they were done and we were satisfied. His crew showed up as promised every day, explained what they were doing (and boy is it hard work, he's a 4th generation mason), and cleaned up everyday. They also were patient thru my surprise interviews with news stations about my benches, working around the newscasters, and moving equipment as need be. They were unobtrusive and weren't obnoxiously loud since hubby works from home and were just awesome people to have around. I kinda miss them, they worked hard and genuinely love their work. Josh had a couple of other jobs but anytime he ran into delays he would call me and let me know and I appreciated the communication. He was also around to make sure it was done the way I wanted and asked me at various points in the construction where I wanted certain things to be, we had to correct some small things and I respect his advice. He wasn't just a supervisor he worked as well,. hauling away items etc, and I can tell his crew trusted and liked him, a sign of a good boss. His invoice matched his quotes and he and his crew did a lot more little things for us, like leaving 2 holes for a future pergola in the concrete, giving us patches of fake grass to fill in gaps, reconstructing a pillar that was loose and adding a lot of structure to it. I'm grateful and pleased and have already recommended him to my mother in law who need to paint her interior and also fix her rockwall as well. They do roofing, painting, landscaping, rockwalls, etc. and mainly work on the Westside. Don't despair if you've had bad experiences with contractors, I've had my fair share, which is why finding Fraser General Contracting is a diamond in the rough! They're one of the good guys and will do a great job, as witnessed by myself and my in laws. They're also highly rated on the Better Business Bureau. From start to finish, Taylor and his entire team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality that is truly rare. What initially began as a roof replacement turned into something far more complex, and this is where their dedication truly stood out. Rather than simply addressing the surface issue, Taylor and his team took the time to thoroughly investigate and identify the root cause of the problem. It turned out the leaks were not just due to a previous roofing issue, but also related to the brickwork outlining the top of our home. Instead of overlooking this, they remained persistent and solution-focused until the problem was fully resolved. The craftsmanship throughout the project was outstanding. The stucco work was impeccable, blending seamlessly and elevating the overall appearance of our home. Inside, the ceiling repairs were handled with great care and precision; Jose's sheetrock work was exceptional, restoring everything beautifully and with evident pride in his work. Every member of the team was respectful, communicative, and highly professional. They showed up on time, kept the worksite clean, and treated our home with the utmost care throughout the entire process. Most importantly, we now have complete peace of mind; no more leaks, and our family home looks absolutely beautiful. Thanks to A Mountain Construction, our home is not only restored but truly market-ready. If you are looking for a company that stands behind their work, solves problems the right way, and delivers high-quality results, A Mountain Construction is the team to trust. They are so good, I have recommended them to neighbors and other neighbors have seen their work and contacted them. I have also called A-Mountain back for other jobs they never turn down! You can't go wrong! 100% contact anytime I need something!

When the day came to install the roof, Taylor had a big enough crew to do the entire roof in a single day. He invited me up to walk the finished job and it was flawless. The shingle lines were straight, the lap was deep, everything was caulked properly and it was done in under 8 hours. I recommend Taylor and A Mountain roofing for anyone in the Las Cruces area who needs a roof replaced. PROS: Responsive Flexible Competitive Pricing Excellent workmanship CONS: None

The previous rockwall dude caused my…read moreentire rock wall to collapse and I was desperate to have it repaired as the city water and police were threatening to write tickets and I had thirty days to repair it. This is a 14' x 18' wall across Vista Del Sol in addition to two walls adjoining the back neighbors. I acquired several quotes, however, since Andres was referred to me by a "friend" I went with him. What a mistake. He hired someone else to do the wall who acquired his city permit through his father's name, I discovered later, and Andres just collected the money as he does concrete and not walls. Well, he says he does concrete but the reviews say otherwise. Although he was nice enough. to be something akin to a wounded puppy, he received a total of $76,550. for this job. In addition, I had to hire somebody else to haul off the dirt he left after the job was done which cost me an additional 12,000. He did write in the contract he charged 400 per 12 ton which really meant nothing to me. He started hauling off dirt with a little black trailer in the back of his truck and claimed each one was 12 tons, another lie. Although I am naive regarding weight of dirt, I am not an idiot, and I knew that those trailer carried approx. 4-5 tons of dirt. As if this was not bad enough, he promised to haul off all debris but he did not. He buried it. The contract (estimate) stated he would level the grounds; he did not level the grounds stated. His guys left small boulders, garbage, beer cans and bottles of urine all over the yard. Measurements promised were not followed as my wall looks very much like a drunken wave. He is a crook in every aspect, and he lies. He will tell you about the last customer and how they lie and mistreat him. Sheesh. My rock wall still looks like hell. Cracks all over, blobs od cement jutting out and it won't pass city inspection. He and his hired hand do not care. He blatantly told me that I could write a complaint and when the complaints get too bad, or lawsuits come in contractors just change their name and file bankruptcy. Too bad I couldn't do that with his payment. This rockwall financially devastated me as I am still paying off loans, I had to get to pay him for a job not completed correctly. I haven't heard from him since he got his last check. My neighbor contacted him because her wall is leaning, something he was supposed to fix correctly, and he ignored my complaints and hers. My bad for paying him. A lesson learned. Stay away from this guy as he is nothing but an opportunist. This also says something about our City laws and how they do not protect us as citizens. They make us pay for permits (1100.) and then they do nothing to enforce or make these idiots do the right thing.
