Delivery happened three days later, right when they said it would arrive, and the movers were equally as pleasant as the salesperson. When I mentioned to a few people that I was intending to get a new mattress, and mentioned that I was going to OMF, every single person (friends (2), family members (2), acupuncturist (1) had all related extremely positive experiences with their purchase-particularly how well built and dependable they are. This is the second time I have made a large purchase from Slumberland. I have been incredibly happy with the salespeople, the selection, the furniture quality and their pro-active customer service. I purchased a bedroom set and mattress. Since we bought the mattress, the entire delivery fee was waived. Steve was super efficient in helping us and made sure that he had time devoted to just us, as soon as we wanted his attention. As opposed to other stores, it felt like he wanted to actually help and not trying to grab as many customers as possible. The furniture at the store ranges in price and quality. You often get what you pay for. I appreciate the store's flexibility in allowing us to substitute pieces in the set price. Most places do not allow this. They should because I added more pieces since I felt like I was being treated very fairly. The delivery came in only a couple days. We had many options which is also unusual as we tend to be a little out of the way. When it came, the delivery people were great! This stuff is big and heavy but they had it all in, built the bed, attached the mirror, drawers and electric pieces for the nightstands quickly with not a single scratch. Everything else was assembled, no flat packing here. Then, before they left, they pointed out some features that I didn't know AND asked if everything was ok where it was because they would move it before they left. This gave me time to look everything over very carefully and make sure that I had no problems. This is above and beyond what I expect from a delivery. The next day, I get a phone call from customer service. They wanted to make sure that everything was as expected, asked about my entire experience from sales, delivery and furniture quality! I have not had any other company show so much dedication to the full customer experience and back it up with continuing to offer to be of service. This is true white glove service.

We bought a couch, chair and dining room set at HOM in Woodbury. The timing of the delivery was no…read moreissue. The problem started with the furniture itself. First, the couch had a stain that resembled a blood stain underneath the back cushion. Next, the dining table is an extension table. One end of the table makes a squeaking noise when leaning on it. When looking underneath the table, the rails underneath are not the same size as the other end of the table. Which is why it is squeaking/knocking. I contacted our salesperson who then told me the process of submitting a ticket for someone to come out and look at the pieces. A few weeks later, someone came out to remove the stain and then tried to fix the table with no such luck. He did try to put some sticky felt on the railings - which is not fixing the problem, just patching it for a little bit. Needless to say, the felt did not stay in place. We were told we can replace the table or receive our money back. We opted for replacing the table (supposed to be delivered this week). Now, last night I was sitting on the dining chair (which I haven't really sat on) I heard something drop on the floor. Here a screw came off of the bottom of the chair. How I know this? I had to turn over the chair and noticed where it came out of. I tried to replace and it was stripped. I then looked over the rest of the dining chairs and the majority of the screws were very loose or missing. The loose screws were stripped from whomever put the chairs together. Long story - I know. I had to put another ticket it for the chairs now. I love the sofa, chair and the dining table. However, paying a large amount of money (at least for our budget) it extremely disappointing and knowing I will not be buying anything from this facility again. Upon entering I was greeted by an employee who shared her name and asked what brought me in. After telling her, instead of showing me around, asking a million questions, or telling me everything about the store, she just referred me to areas I needed and allowed me to browse in peace. The space was spacious. I gather inventory changes, but when I went there were mostly couches. However, there were also tables, some patio items, rugs, chairs, storage (shelves, bookcases), and a few other items types. I didn't see a lot in terms of decor (throws, pillows, vases, etc). Unfortunately, none of the sofas were my style. Most of their items had a modern and retro look. And far bigger than my space could acommadate (sensibly). Although it's the outlet prices were still pretty high. I was looking for miid-level so even if I liked a sofa, at $3k plus it wouldn't have worked. Thankfully there were other furniture stores in the area so it's not like I traveled out there for nothing.
