Fabulous place. Honest, trustworthy and fairly priced. Been a family business since 1929. Specialize in suspension type work, but also do brakes and most other auto repair. If there is any problem with your alignment you will be blamed or your car, plus some attitude on top. My tires are wearing on the inside tread, I had my car for 10 years and I has only wore on the outside because of the aggressive toe angle it was designed to have. NEVER AGAIN! read more

These guys are AMAZING!!!! We had taken our work truck to another business and they quoted us over a grand to fix a supposed issue. We went to Slims and told them exactly what the other garage had told us an the estimated cost. After checking the truck out they told us that there was nothing wrong with that system that it was a minor fix and we were out the door for less than a hundred bucks. How is that for honesty? They had the perfect opportunity to take advantage and still did the right thing. We had a similar experience with our personal vehicle as well. Now we don't even bother with the rest. Possibly the worst service I have ever received at an auto shop. Was not informed that there was a fee for having the car looked at and when my father informed the man at the counter that we were not made aware of the charge when we dropped the car off the man became very rude and said "she dropped the car off not you. You're not my customer I couldn't give a s**t what you think." Overall will never be returning to this shop and would not recommend to anyone else. I went to this shop on a recommendation and was incredibly disappointed. My friend was very offended with the way my family was treated and has decided to not give this company his business any longer. I genuinely cannot believe a business is run this way. I paid the requested fee and was nearly in tears as I walked out. There is a difference between being straight forward and being cruel. read more

These guys are honest mechanics. They do great work, and are fully knowledgeable of anything that has to do with suspension, steering, etc. They are not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for, and you will actually come out better in the long run. First off I decided to go with this business because they are local and the price was affordable. Towards the beginning of 2013 I had my cars windows tinted by this place. It took about 2-4 hours to do the job. I dropped it off and they called when it was ready. Now with me, if I am paying for a job to be done right, thats what I expect. Any customer would. So after I picked the car up, I parked it and began to look over the job done. Well needless to say, after the few days of non using the winodws(so the tint can settle)I began to notice bubbles here and there on a couple windows. So I took it back the next day and showed them, and they said those were dirt specs that got inbetween the window and tint and should be fine. Then a few days later when nice weather came around, I noticed where the weather stripping meets almost to the mirror on the driver and passenger doors, the tint was not taken all the way to the edge of the window. It was like they cut corners and thought I would not notice. So I had that redone too. Here it is towards the end of the 2013 year, I have had to take my car back more than twice to fix the job NOT done right the first time let alone the 2nd or third. So as of this past week I call and talk to the person who does the tinting job there and let him know of one more problem that has occured. There was now a couple pen size holes in the tint on the driver side window. This was the employees response, well that kind of problem is caused by the person of the vehicle letting the seatbelt hit the window when getting out and I see it all the time. There is no warranty per say for the tint so it will cost 30 per window to remove tint and 40 to re install new per window. When I was sold the service, I was promised that any defects in the tint or dissatifaction of work for the life of the tint, it would be replaced no quesitons asked. FAILED !!!!!!! I would never refer anyone to this shady place. They sell you a promise and do not follow through with it. They are rude over the phone and when you ask about making things right with the customer, you might hear these words as I did, the customer is not always right here at this business !! read more
