I went back to SliMedica but they have now moved to the Male Medical Group. Their women's program is still active. I had to lose my quarantine fat and I did. They gave me the same rate I paid 3 years ago. 30 lbs gone but you have to be strict with your diet. I am now moving into maintenance as I reached my old college weight. Finally! After 25+ years. Right hand doesn't know what left is doing. Talked me into buying year of hormone replacement therapy. I calculated that I had been going every 2-3 months for pelits and been doing great and feeling great. New person comes in and tells me that I shouldn't be pelited for 5 months that my testosterone was too high. She ended up telling me that I could sign a waiver and be pelited sooner than what she recommended. 2 things chap me about this. 1) The money, would turn out to be a complete rip off to only be pelited 2 times 2) I had my woman check and showed my doctor the labs Slimedica did and he said the hormone levels were great. Purchased a special package during the Xmas holidays that included a hydrafacial, dermaplaning, jelly mask and led light... It was my first time at Slimedica and was very excited because I had gotten a really good deal and I couldn't wait to see the outcome with this combo, but unfortunately it wasn't what I expected. The esthetician scratched my skin with the dermaplaning blade. Because of the irritation caused by the bad dermaplaning the hydrafacial procedure that she did after was not very comfortable. Typically the skin feels baby smooth after this procedure but in this case my skin felt rough and scratchy and I had a burning sensation. It took a whole month for my skin to heal. read more

I received laser hair removal on my face. I have called the office but no call back since a few days after my last treatment (February 2020). I see almost no difference at all if anything may hair is darker and thicker , I'm still growing hair upper lip , forehead , cheeks , unibrow. I have to shave everyday or every two days . I believe I paid $749-800 for this treatment but it didn't help at all.. they gave me I believe extra visit..but I'm still growing a lot of hair!!!I did explained and talked to the ladies after each treatment and even talked to a manager but they couldn't tell me anything expect "changing the settings on the machine" and instead they would give me attitude. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!!! Scheduled hydra facial for me and a friend way ahead of the date, back to back with my friend (not from Texas) , got a "confirmation" call a day before at 6 pm Canceled work and arrived on time ! After waiting 20 minutes a girl came out to tell me that the specialist is having a docs apt ( which was scheduled or that morning way before) and that me and my friend will have to go back I was so mad- why did I received 2 confirmation calls the night before if the girl that does the facial is not even going to be in ? Got 4 voucher of 50 , 2 for me and 2 for my friend and was told that I will be able to use them towards the facial that was rescheduled for the week after. I left happy but when I came back for the facial the girl that does the facials and the manager told me they are not able to except both vouchers at the same time but they will do it for my friend because she doesn't live at t. The girl that gave me the vouchers was sitting there and supposedly try to convince the facialist to do it for me because of the inconvenience but they insisted that they can't! I felt that they are making fun out of me, no one knows what the other person is doing and there was a big mess very unprofessional!!!!!! I work at customer service as well and if I guarantee something for my client such as excepting two vouchers I would do so even if someone in the system made a mistake you need to stand behind your words and don't schedule someone for a day that the facialist is not going to be in and confirm the evening before!!! I have found after seeing several attorneys that ii is hard to prosecute businesses like this who "guarantee" results and not meet them, to be sued for deceptive practices. My girlfriend was treated for a medical condition she did not have, given a testosterone implant the Dr. told her she needed ($1000.00) or the laser treatments would not help her and It didn't work anyway, and was never told by this "DR" that there were much less expensive options she could use. Very unethical! Her treatments were not done correctly and she now has one side of her abdomen larger than the other. This is an unethical and purely money grubbing business. We have consulted an new attorney after seeing other posts here, and anyone who is interested in a class action lawsuit please post yourself on this site. This company needs to be closed down. PS. The system they use to measure the guaranteed "4 inches in 2 weeks" or a refund are useless, since they have no standard criteria to guarantee they measure the exact same area each time. I went in for an consultation. Signed in at 214. Did not get called back until 330. It was only 2 of us in the whole darn office. My actual appointment was at 3. After they did my weigh in they sent me back to the waiting room. Needless to say at 346 I left. Will not be rescheduling at all. I see why they have 50% off. I saw Slimedica on TV's SA Living and they were offering a special to loose weight in 12 Zerona Laser treatment sessions of at least 1/2lb. to 1lb. per day that was normally $4,000 and today were offering for $1,800. And they "Guaranteed" to loose 4 inches. After the first 12 sessions, I followed their guidelines to a T and only lost 7lbs. After I expressed that I was not happy at all with my results after spending $1800, they offered me another 12 sessions that just ended today 5/14/18 and I have only lost a total of 10lbs. I really could have done that in 2mos with diet and exercise alone. Plus I did not loose the "Guaranteed" 4 inches either. Slimedica is not what it used to be...save your money and sanity and go somewhere else. I was a long time customer but no longer. Staff turnovers have led to a new PA, Marcie Bennett, who is very condescending and extremely confrontational. I had hormone pelleting, as I have done for 4 years now. Once pelleted, you are due back in 6 weeks for post pelleting lab work to be sure you were pelleted with the correct amts needed. Their paperwork states the lab work will be discussed either in person or over the phone. I chose to go in person. Upon arrival I was approached by Marcie who said "I shouldn't even be talking to you, unless you give me $250." I said I was unsure what she meant and that I was here to go over my post pelleting bloodwork that I had paid for with the year package I purchased. She started getting really mad and would not let me speak. She said again that she should not be speaking with me and clutched my blood work in her hand and wouldn't let me see it. Her anger heightened and the situation was elevating out of control. I felt I should leave before anything else was said or happened. At that point I walked out of the office and never got to see my blood work that I paid for. She was clearly wrong. She thought I was there to go over bloodwork for a new pelleting. I tried to explain I was there for the post pellet bloodwork results. She would not listen to me and kept interrupting and cutting me off from talking.To this day I have not been contacted by Slimedica nor have I received an apology from Marcie. There are plenty of services like this around town and there is no need to be treated this way. I will seek these services elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. read more

I went to slimedica about 4 months ago for weight loss. I did not have much weight to lose,, I was just trying to get rid of some weight around my lower stomach area. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm although I did not get seen until about 3:30 pm. It was a bit of a wait, but there was paperwork I had to fill out and a tv to watch, so I didnt mind that much. I went back for a few exams and talked to one of their staff about what I was hoping to accomplish. I told her how I went to the gym and such and how I had trouble getting rid of the weight in my lower stomach area. We talked about a diet plan and medication that might work for me. I followed their protocol and eventually I started to see the weight drop from the area. All in all, I paid for something, it worked, so I was happy with it. read more

That's when they found I was deficient in VitD, my thyroid level was low and close to being a diabetic. I'm now on supplements and feeling better. I thought I would try the Zerona laser treatment on my legs and thighs back in April as my husband and I were about to go on a cruise for our 20th anniversary. I was "guaranteed" to lose weight and see great results in the initial 2 weeks that I signed up for which was on special: 1/2 price deal, so $1000. They did NOT measure me, all they did was get my weight and took some blood. After the consultation with the Dr, I found out I would have to give myself injections!!! I was so scared to do this to myself that I nearly passed out the 1st time. They put me on an 800 calorie per day diet. I did lose 8 lbs in the first 3 days (before any of these injections). So over the course of 2 weeks, I lost 1 more pound, still following the 800 calorie diet! When I had my last treatment, they measured me! IDK why, the didn't have any prior measurements to compare. I was not impressed at all!!! If you have plenty of money to waste and lots of spare time to go to very long appointments, then go here.
