Customer service was bad! Lidia the main receptionist there did not take priority that I was trying to make an appoint for 5 people. When she said she can take up to 6 at a time if she was told ahead of time, so she could get the therapists. Massage was okay. The room was EXTREMELY cold I couldn't even relax because I was shivering so bad and the masseuse's hands were freezing. Over all, I really didn't feel amazing leaving the place. read more

I got a Groupon for this place for a facial, so I drove all the way out to Florida City to get one and I was super disappointed. First off, every word that came out of the mouth of the chick who gave me the facial was negative. And I felt like she was saying negative things to me in hopes that I'd become so insecure, I'd come back for help. Plus, all she did for an entire hour was rub different types of goop on my face and then wipe it off, rinse and repeat. It was like cold-mud-goop, wipe, sandy goop, wipe, raspberry smelling goop, wipe, mint goop, wipe, pig shit, wipe. I could've done the same thing at home with the aid of Sephora gift card and a visit for my apartment complex's septic tank. She did give me a scalp message though. Felt good, but it's not what I ordered. Final result from all this: I broke out terribly. Thanks Message World Spa! You totally wasted my time. read more

When I got a massage the first time here it was great the girl did a good job but I felt like it was rushed. Yesterday was a horrible experience I have ever been through....my partner signed us up for a couples massage and when we got there supposedly one of the girls had left! Who up and leaves when you know you have two people coming for a massage? But before getting there they had the nerve to call and say "sorry but can you come in another time because there is a severe thuNderstorm?" that is such bull....I work as a teacher for Miami dade county and we stay open so its just excuses for them to leave early. I go for relaxation and a good time and here its like I'm being rushed or they don't even us there so that way they can leave early. The service is atrocious and unprofessional.....sadly this is down the street from my house and not even worth the drive. read more

I didn't even make it to the spa. I called days ahead to make an appointment because I had a gift certificate from Christmas for Massage World. When the receptionist answered the phone, she did not think it was important to tell me that the spa is no longer "Massage World" and that they moved to a new location. I raced down to Florida City from Palmetto Bay and couldn't find the spa. I called about 6 times, nobody picked up. In addition, nobody bothered to call me after I was now running 10 minutes late to my appointment. I finally reached the receptionist, I shared my ordeal, and after no apology (that I can remember) she advises me of the helpful information I should have received days ago and says I "should" still receive my full hour massage because she has no other appointments. Then, she calls me back and asks if I could come in an hour and a half after my scheduled time because they only had ONE person available for massages (what?!) This was definitely NOT a fantastic first impression. Therefore, I didn't bother to show up and I'm not planning on trying again. I'll take my money elsewhere and I will not hesitate to spread the word. read more

My wife and I booked a couples massage because we were told the place had a promotion if you paid over the phone prior to arriving. We arrived early as told and filled out the paper work. We were told the second girl was running 5 min. late. 5 min. later we're told she's 10 min away. 10 min. later we were asked if we wanted to wait in the room on the massage tables. We declined but were offered the jacuzzi. We accepted the jacuzzi and were told the therapist would be arriving in 20 min. 30 minutes later the jacuzzi stopped. We got out, dressed and headed toward the front desk. We were stopped and directed to our rooms and told THE OTHER THERAPIST IS HERE. We got undressed and onto the massage tables. 8 min. later a therapist came in and told us the therapist we're waiting on is going to be REALLY late and offered the couples massage one at a time. Of course I declined and asked her why she told me the other therapist was here when I specifically asked if she was there. She gave me some long explaination but never explained why she lied. I asked for a refund. She asked me if we would like to go back at another time. My wife and I wanted out of there. Were were told to take it up with the front desk. This is where it gets worse. The front desk tells me she doesnt know how to work the credit card machine to make refunds. I asked for a cash refund so we could leave ASAP and she went to ask the owner. He came out and didnt know how to work the credit card machine either. We waited there another 30 min. while they BOTH were on the phone with the credit card machine customer service! This was our first and last visit there. I was not even offered a free massage or anything to redeem themselves by. Even if they did, I would not go back nor would have re-gifted the massage because this place was STRESSFUL as opposed to what we went in for, RELAXATION. read more

Nothing to write home about. The facial was mediocre at best and the massage was too rough....and I'm a tough gal. It didn't help that the skank hit on my boyfriend, I come to find out later, as she was rubbing him down. No thanks. Btw...did I mention it was in Egypt. We went for the living social deal...$40.00 for a 1 hour massage and a 1 hour facial. It was worth the price of admission but I wouldn't go back. read more

Please DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! WISH I HAD SEEN SOME OF THE REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE BEFORE I FOUND YELP. My partner and I both had two really bad experiences. Definetly not worth the savings at all!!!!! they spend more time trying to give you free things instead of doing the job right the first time. The first time i wanted to treat my partner to a massage and I called and booked it and a few hours later they called and wanted us early because the therapist had to leave. massages aren't suppose to be rushed. Thats exactly how he felt. I had prepaid before his massage ended for other massages and about two weeks later i called to book a couples massage. I was told we could come in use the jacuzzi and get massages done together! LOLOLOLOL Well that didnt happen!!! Made the appt on the same day and three hours later (they wouldnt even say who called) but it was a guy who called and told me they needed to cancel because of a thunderstorm in florida that didnt even happen!!!!!! What kind of place does that??? Our appt was four hours away still. Then we got a call back from the manager and was told there was a misunderstanding about the appt. Let me be clear there was no misunderstanding at all!!! very unprofessional. So regardless we decide to go thinking it would get better and wrong. We go and find out there is only one therapist going to be there. The guy at the fron didnt know what was going on. they were expecting to take hour turns and wait for the other one for a COUPLES massage!!!! It was so messed up that we left and asked the manager to call us the next day!!! P.S. the jacuzzi wasnt even turned on to be warm for us either. I got a call the next day and she was trying to be apologetic and offer us free services for that day. I told them i could be there at 6. She opffered us a massage and a facial for that day. Thinking that they would go out of there way to make sure they do there job right we went!!! Another REALLY BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! We get there at six and they want to stick us in the jacuzzi after i already stated my special night was ruined and didnt want to try to recreate it and just recieve the facial and massage. We get there before six and they stick us in the jacuzzi room and was 75 minutes late for our 6 pm massage. we never even got our facials but was given more free coupons!!!! This is very sad for a new company that we really need in our area!!!! The decore is nice but service is failing at the worst level. i dont want or need free coupons, We just wanted a relaxing service and instead we walk out of there feeling like we were in a war. felt they did it on purpose to us!!! Will definetly not go back. I work in the service industry and have had 100's of massages but never where felt was intentionally hurt and ended up bruised up and down my legs the next day ever!!!!! read more

Tried to schedule an appointment after receiving a free massage voucher at the STAPLES. Was told I needed to see the chiropractor first. Told the manager that I did not want to see a doctor, I only wanted to receive the free massage as the voucher indicated. I then told her that I would just throw them out since I did not want to see a doctor before a massage she said GOOD and hung up! Not even through the door and the attitude is abysmal. read more

This place is a ripoff. Did you know they close their location at Pembroke Pines because thay didn't pay their employees? yes, actually they are a group of 10 employees that have worked there without being pay for months. That was a busy location but with not management at all, they didn't provide support and organization, they just collected the money and never paid the workers, now they were force to close because employees got together to sue this company, the owner's name is Ralph and the Vice-president Laila are very rude and nasty people. But they will pay for this unfair treatment to people with families and children. Do a favor and don't go there, they are unprofessional and don't get any multi-plan or living social, they may close this location in Florida City very soon. read more
