In these trying times, one looks for a beacon of hope and sunshine amidst what seems to be an endless deluge of doom and gloom. Enter Slim Possible, which has the BEST protein shakes I have ever had. EVER. Now, I am not a shake gal - I prefer to eat my calories - and every healthy concoction I've tried up until I stumbled upon this wondrous spot has tasted chalky, artificial, or worse. Not so at Slim Possible, whose numerous flavor offerings run the gamut from Coconut Cream Pie (when the cheerful cashier asked if I wanted an Oreo layer blended into my shake, my answer was tears of joy and a resounding HECK YES), to a convincing Lemon Poppyseed, which tastes like a liquified version of the popular cafe treat. No matter what you go with, you won't be disappointed. I'm still working my way through their massive menu, and I look forward to updating this review when I get a chance to go again. Next on my list? Cranberry-Orange! Slim Possible is nestled in a small business plaza off a main road in Middletown, and can be easy to miss while driving by. If you take the time to come here, though, you will be pleasantly surprised! Word on the street is that they're opening a sister location on Broadway in Newport within the next few months. Love slim possible smoothies and protein bites! The staff is always very helpful and friendly :) the smoothies are absolutely delicious and taste like ice cream without the guilt. I LOVE this place!!!! By far one of the best shake establishments on Aquidneck Island. The energy and cheerfulness of the staff is enough to brighten your day and get you motivated to shed those extra pounds you've accumulated over the holidays! There's a large selection of flavors to choose from. I personally love the Nutter Butter, Fluffer Nutter, and the Captain Crunch! SO GOOD!!!! My husband always gets shakes within the Banana flavors all of which he thoroughly enjoys! Oh and the teas are wicked good too. Not watered down like some of the other shake places I've been to. I'm usually on the run so I place my orders online to go. Sometimes their computers don't catch up. Your order will say it'll be ready in fifteen minutes but on occasion when I get there to pick up my order a server will say the order had just come through. You can tell they feel badly when this happens because they'll immediately stop whatever else it is that they were doing to accommodate you. Can't blame them for the bad connection but they do go above and beyond to make up for it. If that's not fantastic customer service I don't know what is. read more

I drove by slim possible a few mo the ago and could only think of the Kim possible theme song. Doo doo dodo what's the cinch? Slim possible!! Now I find myself coming here in the mornings and replacing my usual coffee with a delicious shake. EVERY SHAKE COMES WITH A FREE TEA YALL!! I go back and forth between a hot NRG tea to get the energy like coffee and a chilled fruit tea ( with aloe and some pieces of fruit in it- optional and FREE). All of the smoothies I've tried have tasted just like the desert they are mimicking. I've had the lemon poppy, key lime pie, brownie batter, and turtle cheesecake and they are all spot on to the desert. You have a choice in protein powder- soy, whey, rice/quinoa/ pea for people with diet specific needs. The only drink I was not super impressed with was the pre workout shake. I just was not a fan of the flavor. If mellowed out as the ice I. My drink melted. I think it could be nice to put the ore workout in a larger cup and add a bit more water to the mixture. Phenomenal service and very clean space! I recently stopped in for a shake, as the sign caught my eye. The shake was delicious and the employees were kind. During my visit, I learned about their "Order Online" program. Well, I gave it a shot today and I was extremely surprised with how easy-to-use and convenient it was! I ordered my shake at roughly 6:30am for a 7:00 am pick up. I was flabbergasted when I showed up at 6:55, my shake was already waiting for me (and they don't open officially until 7!).
