Most of the games cost a couple bucks each. It would be better if you could get a card that worked unlimited for an hour. I think between my husband and I re-upping our cards, we spent $500 at the arcade & bowling alley over 3 days. My kids did love the mini bowling lanes, but again at $6/player/ game, it added up quickly. I didn't feel that the room was that outdated. I loved the big whirlpool tub, but one of the jet covers would fly off any time we turned it on. Extremely well-maintained and clean. This time one of my guests (I won't name names) lowered one of the boat's anchors, and it came untied. It sank to the bottom of the lake and we couldn't retrieve it. We were a little worried that we'd have to pay for it, but the staff at Beachside was extremely understanding and cool about it. Will definitely rent from Beachside again!

There are several adjacent, straight runs (apparently 22, but not all utilized on our warm February day) which provide a decent and safe velocity for young and old alike. There's a conveyor/escalator type of tow that allows tubers to stand and hold their tube to get up the hill. Here's the downside... $55 for 2 hours is steep! Especially for the lack of variety in slope. The food and souvenirs are also way overpriced and it feels unreasonable for a large family to pay to go tubing here. Based on the prices online, it would be better to get a lift ticket and ski rental and have the day to ski, than to pay for 2 hours of tubing. I still recommend Wilmot for the experience. For my neighbors in the Chicago suburbs, it is a nice change of pace for a winter activity.

Scam. Scam. Be very wary of this business. We rented waver runners from them only to lose our…read moresecurity deposit. We were docking the waverunner as per the staff instructions only to have it bump an object. There was a ding on the boat. Mind you it was a very narrow dock with no staff actually coming out to tow the waverunners in. Someone then came by and said it was our fault when it was their staff who directed traffic. I suspect the business uses this excuse to charge the customers for minor damage and keep the security deposits claiming they need to repair the waverunners. The waverunners by the way had other dings on it that were clearly not repaired. If other yelpers have had similar experiences, please file complaints accordingly so that others will not suffer a similar scam( " bait and switch ") while on a vacation.
