You'll need a car to get there; however, there is plenty of parking. The building itself is a bit run down and shabby. Nothing to deter you from trusting the pizza, though. The pizzas can come almost any way you'd like. Deep dish, calzone, thin, thick - you get to choose. They have several specialties. You can also get a nice "personal" pizza. It's a decent size; if several of you share, you can sample many styles. Service is decent. They were short staffed when we were there but still managed to give us refills of our cokes. I can't speak to the alcohol since we didn't have anything. And the pizzas are delivered by a robot! So servers are there to help you, the robot just assists with getting you your food. To summarize my daughter: "the robots was amazing, but the pizza is the BOMB."

I've had a lot of pizza over the years and I can honestly say this is the best pizza I have had in a long time. The flavors worked so perfectly together. The spicy, the savory, the cheesy! As someone who had never been to Estes Park before, I'm so sad that I will probably not get to have their pizza again. But, gosh, I'll tell everyone about it! The pizzas are also delivered by robot which is super cool. The cheesecake was top tier too.

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. I would summarize this beer just as they did, focusing on hops, citrus, and pine. Absolutely delicious, a memorable IPA in recent memory. I liked it so much I ordered it again and it tasted just as delicious the second time down! They also had a food truck outside, so safe to assume they do this often. Would love to try more of their beers during my next visit. Rock Cut, I see you!

We also wanted to sit outside along the water because the view was amazing. Unfortunately, that came at a cost. We were quoted 15-20 minutes for a table, so we agreed. However, we continued to watch people walking in and getting seated at inside tables right away. At the 45-minute mark, I went up to the host and asked just to be seated inside. Suddenly, a table was ready for us outside. Along with another family that checked in about 20-30 minutes after us. A manager swung by soon after we were seated and dropped off a plate of onion rings on both our tables for the long wait (although the other party's wait didn't even compare to ours). The onion rings were delicious, even though they didn't come with any sort of dipping sauce. Before getting the onion rings, we had already decided that we wanted the fried asparagus, so we still ordered them, too. It was a lot of fried food. LOL But soooo good. The salads come in a small or large bowl. Since we had so many appetizers, we all just ordered the small. I chose the Cobb Salad. It was amazing. And very, very filling for a "small" bowl. There were a lot of ingredients, which I appreciate in a salad. If I was hungry, I could definitely polish off a large bowl. In the end, sitting outside was a great experience, and the food was all excellent, but the 45-minute wait sucked.

Google does…read morenot give the correct directions - when we followed them, we ended up in a random parking lot a block over. I recommend setting the GPS to the brewery rather than the truck. When we visited on Sunday after hiking at RMNP for the morning, there wasn't much of a crowd here. We ordered and the the food only took about 8 minutes to arrive. Meeker Margherita ($21) - Perfectly cooked crust in this pizza. The cornicione in particular is expertly risen and cooked, giving plenty of charred bubbles and the perfect chewiness. The undercarriage, while floppy, isn't soggy at all. It hold up very well to the ingredients on top. The crust is first slathered sparingly with tomato sauce. The sauce is reduced quite a bit and tastes almost like a concentrated tomato paste. They don't use a lot so it doesn't soak into the crust at all. On top, there's a couple of pieces of basil giving a very noticeably fresh aroma. There's plenty of melted mozzarella cheese, which seem to be of the pearl variety, mild tasting and stretchy. They apparently also drizzle some EVOO, although there's no particular peppery or fruity notes, or heck any real olive oil flavor at all. With how well all the other ingredients worked together, the olive oil is very disappointing. Still, it's a very well constructed pizza. (5/5) Panorama Peak ($23) - Again, this pizza has the perfect crust. Instead of tomato sauce, it's slathered with ricotta cheese, making the pizza very rich and creamy. More melted mozzarella on top of that for even more fatty richness, then pieces of proscuitto, chewy and salty. The meat isn't sliced that well so it's messy to eat. They then essentially cover the pizza with an arugula, tomato, and shaved parmesan salad. The arugula is super peppery and bitter, the tomatoes are fresh and sweet, and the parmesan adds more saltiness. The main sources of salt are the parmesan and the proscuitto. Neither are added in large enough quantities to make the pie overly salty. Mixed in the with the arugula are a couple of stems of cilantro for some reason. Nothing on the menu actually uses cilantro so I'm a bit confused where it comes from. It's essentially a salad on pizza dough so everything falls off the crust very easily making it messy to eat. (4/5) I'm very impressed with the food served at Mangia Mangia. I didn't expect to find such great pizza in a small touristy mountain town. I'll be back next time I'm in the area! Lettuce, tomato, red onion, and house pickles come on the side so you can build it your way. The onion rings were big, golden, and crunchy, and well worth the upgrade. The comfort plate was a tender steak smothered in mushroom gravy with real mashed potatoes and sautéed squash, which was perfect on a cool Colorado evening. The kids' burger and fries were a hit too. A rich hot drink topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle was the perfect finish. Prices are fair for a tourist town, with burgers around $17-22 and appetizers in the low to mid teens. The menu also has a nice mocktail selection and plenty of local Estes Park beers for those who want them. It's relaxed and family-friendly, and the food is honest and satisfying. We were fortunate enough to attend the "soft opening" for brunch today and all I can say is WOW! Head upstairs if you can. The second floor has big windows and the view really is nice. Everything we got was good. The baked goods are the standout and genuinely unique. Their cinnamon roll isn't the usual doughy pastry. It's made from puff pastry, so it eats more like a fried croissant. Flaky, crisp, and not a gut bomb. Get one. The biscuits and gravy were tasty and so was the burrito. Nothing to complain about on either. The bacon is a bit expensive for what it is, but oh well, you're in a tourist trap town. Everything else felt fairly priced for Estes. Would come back, especially for the pastries.
