That's the prices on given days of the week. And that space to the right? That's the stuff you dig through to find something worth buying.

If you pay CLOSE attention and know what to look for and what to stay away from, you can do just fine. Don't just jump on and start buying. They have some amazing deals, but keep in mind, many things are returned that DO NOT WORK. They don't inspect the packages. For now we look for "shelf pull" meaning it's still sealed in the original manufacturers shipping. Unopened. Prolly like new. But there are NO returns. Nada. Zilch. Zip. No can do, so why do so many STILL try to return it and get mad when they don't let them?? GOOD QUESTION!! You can find some great deals here. Just be smart. And if you're fortunate to live close by, stop by the on site "store" which is really a bunch of broken crap mixed with brand new items and pieces of parts etc. You get the idea. They have a table to test electrical items to make sure they work. Many blinds (bring a tape measure and know the size you need). And did I mention? THERE'S NO RETURNS!!!! Buy at your OWN risk!!! My photo here shows where you "shop" which is really where you dig through the long tubs. There's a LOT there.

The service is poor. You make an appointment days ahead of time but when you arrive and check in, you wait upwards to an hour. They lie on their auctions and say items are new when you get them home they are busted and used with some missing pieces. They offer no resolution. I had to file a complaint with the BBB. Oh and speaking of that, the Better Business Bureau has this company under investigation. Go check it out! I ended up deleting my account after my first week.

Price on Internet for the item one of the lowest prices

no, I don't. I started shopping there back in 2019 and I was able to get some pretty good bargains. Some weren't so much as they were missing pieces and were unusable and I don't want to so much but the prices were low enough to to take a Hugh hit to the pocket. I raised my star rating from one to two because I really did like shopping in their warehouse area because I could look through the items to make sure what I wanted or was buying had all the pieces and I found a lot of things some basically but I found them and I purchased them, but as the years went by their became different and they didn't sell as many things as they used to kitchen sinks some appliances, products, and so and I always to pick up my items because shipping was too high and normally I bought larger items but now as I go onto the the prices have pretty much gone up and I know bidding starts at zero, but when it came to looking at things, I would always check the shipping charges because I can't drive out there any longer. It's a hour and 20 minute drive. Here's an example of something that is currently for sale something called a mini maker system and has five hours and 39 minutes left till the end of the auction. The current price is seven dollars but that most likely will go up closer to the end of the auction and after clicking on the item shipping charge is $15.78 to my ZIP Code and upon looking at the photos, which is really important to do, it shows the standard item as advertised from the manufacturer then the next show shows a picture of the box and then the next photo a picture of the box opened and it looks like quite a business things are look is just me. I think the maker part that you used to make it is missing so you bid online let's say it gets to $10 and you pay that shipping charge and you don't get the item that is really for sale because they say it's as is what's shown in the is what you get. I've been burned that way quite a bit like I said, but you really really have to pay attention to those photos because if the cord is missing and they don't show the cord you're out of luck it's most likely not there so be careful and be aware of what you buy. It's best if you can go in and inspect it before the auction ends. But that's my two cents.

Says new, they don't show the carafe or the coffee still on the item.. go figure!!!!

CAREFUL!! They employ the bait and switch scam guised as "sold as is" when they use stock photos and grossly inaccurate descriptions. They refuse refunds saying their 1 photo of a top of a box is what you get when there is no other defining markers. They also sold me used items that were marked as new. Not only were they used, but had months of damage and were still dirty!!!! They say it appeared new at a glance!! I have contacted the BBB, the Attorney General and the Chamber of Commerce! Im going to attempt the Health Department as well because thats iust gross and unsanitary. Maria is the lady that answers the email and is very unprofessional.

This is a review of Shorewood Liquidators, also known as sliBuy.com, of Shorewood, IL…read more sliBuy Auctions, also known as Shorewood Liquidators, is that rare company that tells you in plain and easy to understand language just how they make money. 1) THEY CREATE FAKE BIDDERS TO BID AGAINST YOU: Go to sliBuy.com, then go to the section marked "Terms & Conditions". Read the paragraph clearly titled "Seller Bidding". It tells you, IN PLAIN ENGLISH, that they bid against you. Yes, they actually have their computer program create fake bidder names, and this computer program then makes you bid up to your maximum pre-determined bid (they know it because you were dumb enough to enter the maximum you were willing to pay). If you did not enter your maximum bid and decide to "snipe" bid in real time as the auction draws to a close, their software determines how many times your internet IP address logged on and looked at that item- and the computer program does the rest. If you don't bid enough money, the computer program's fake bidder "wins" the item and it will be relisted next week under a new "auction ID number". Did you understand that? This is not a true auction site. There is a saying in poker that when you sit down at the table and can't spot the sucker, then YOU are the sucker. 2) THE LABELS "NEW/OTHER", "USED", "SHELF PULL", and "UN-INSPECTED ITEM" MEAN NOTHING: Go to sliBuy.com and then to "Terms & Conditions". Go to the paragraph clearly marked "Terms". They are telling you that "new" doesn't mean anything. An employee earning $12 an hour and at a very fast pace has to label things and photograph the outside of the box. What they call a "new" professional paint sprayer model XYZ sold at Home Depot could very well mean "Model ABC used for two years by a paint company, no longer working, and important parts removed so that it will never work again". In a court of law, a "reasonable" person could understand and define what "new" or "used" means. Here, they tell you- IN PLAIN ENGLISH, that this means nothing. So that is what sliBuy tells you, if you bothered to read the easy to understand large print from their website. *** Now this is what I tell you....I met many people who buy from sliBuy each week, and then re-sell the items on Craigslist, eBay, OfferUp, flea markets, and even (in the case of fake Pampers diapers returned by Amazon customers) to inner city "mom and pop" corner stores. I know one lady who buys about 100-200 boxes of diapers from sliBuy each week! She re-sells them to the inner city corner stores where customers are not the type to write letters to the manufacturer complaining about the degrading quality of the product. Another gent I met is "Hank". He makes a living buying whatever is "hot" at the moment, such as juicers for people wanting to lose weight gained during the Covid-19 pandemic. He brings an electrical cord and drives down the building to an outdoor electrical outlet, plugs in each of the electrical items he just "won", and tests them. If any are inoperable, he returns right away for store credit. Since he is a "regular" there, he has no trouble and is helped by staff. And that is why I give it 5 stars. For people who actually read the easy to understand "Terms & Conditions", and for "regular" customers, it is a way to make a living. If you are too lazy and dumb to spend 20 seconds reading their "Terms & Conditions", you will lose.
