In both cases, there was almost instant improvement in my sight. In the summer of 2013, I had my right eye redone at this clinic. The result was terrible. My left eye was strong on far sight, and my right was strong on near sight. I wanted to increase my far sight vision on my right eye, so I went to this clinic for the procedure. The procedure cost quite a bit more, as my eye was treated before. Right away, I knew something was wrong. Very poor near sight and very poor far sight. I waited a week and no improvement. Even the optometrist was silent every time I went in for the required follow ups. Eventually I went back to this clinic and a tech spent 45 seconds testing my vision and wrote down that I had 20/30 vision. A different doctor came in then, since the one who completed my procedure was not available. She asked why there was a problem, and I told her how I can't see near or far and that 45 second eye test was not accurate, I can guess what the letters are during the eye test, just by the blurry shape. So later that month, I did get to see the original doctor and he indicated that there was abnormal cell growth and that is why I can't see and they will have to do another procedure. My vision was bad from the minute I left the procedure room, so this theory indicates that cells instantly grew after the procedure to wreck my vision. I had the second procedure and my far vision is a little better but my near vision is extremely poor. I need reading glasses to do anything. I need them for my job, shopping, using a computer, plugging anything in, and of course reading. I basically went in with vision that was not too bad to ending up with wearing reading glasses most of the time. The reason I originally had laser vision was to not have glasses. I might have believed the story about cell growth if it wasn't for a few things. I have had my eyes done twice before as I indicated and the great results were almost instant. This time, instantly bad results, so I don't believe the abnormal cell growth story. Before the procedure they put a name tag on my right side. The staff told me they do that so no mistake is made, correct person on the correct eye. Were there previous incidents where mistakes were made? When I entered the procedure room, the nurse said to me, "So today we are working on the left eye". I said "No..., my right eye is being treated". So now I am convinced they used the wrong procedure setting on the equipment, as how could my vision end up being so wrong. I've spent thousands of dollars on the procedure, losing wages for taking time off work and expensive optometrist visits to end up with worse vision and wearing glasses. My quality of life has gone way down. Now this clinic has not abandoned me. I still have another visit and there was talk of a more invasive procedure, but I think I have had it with the procedures which have wrecked my vision. Maybe that was the plan after all; wait me out as it has been 10 months now and I am ready to just suffer with my poor vision. I'm sure 95% of the people who have visited this clinic have walked out with great vision, but sadly, not me.

Recently they have implemented text messaging to confirm my appointment, and I got a text a few weeks before my appointment asking me to press 1 to confirm. I liked this new structure and promptly replied "1" exactly as asked. A week later I get the same text and figured something may have glitches. No problem: replied "1" again. I show up 5 minutes before my appointment time today and am told I don't have an appointment. I show the receptionist my text messages and responses. She says they didn't get them and thus canceled my appointment. She then asks the doctor if they can fit me in and they say they can't. WTAF I am so pissed off as I took the morning off work for this.

It turned out that one of the women was Dr. Kerissa Neilsen, one of the two homeopaths. She took me to the side and asked why I was interested in seeing a homeopath. I told her about my fatigue and a few other things I have been dealing with for a while now. She asked if I knew if my hormones and thyroid are functioning properly. I told her that my thyroid is good, but hormones I don't know about. She asked about things like PMS and painful periods, telling me that if your hormones are balanced you should not have those things. Which seemed unbelievable, that only seems like a dream to me. She recommended I come and see her and we could go over things in more detail, she was already confident that she could help me. I was so impressed with the fact that she took some time just to talk with me a bit, when a practitioner is confident in their abilities it brings me a sigh of relief. I asked her about their craniosacral therapy, she said that their therapist is one of the best in that modality, that is all she does. A craniosacral session costs $150, which did seem like a lot to me. The receptionist wrote down a bunch of information for me. Their homeopathic medicines cost $9.40 each. There is a whide range of beautiful designer frames, not a lot of cheaper options though. They have a good assortment of reading magazines, coffee and water in the waiting area. The reseptionist and staff are quite friendly and efficient. Their prices for contacts are standard. I once had to exchange one type of unopened contacts for another and there was no issue. They did undercharge me once, so they tacked the difference on to my next vist, but it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Michelle Naruszewicz, who I see, makes my visits so easy going! She explains everything thouroughly to me, even showing me pictures of what she is talking about! For instance I had minor inflammation under my eye lids, she recommended only what was needed to treat it and nothing else. When i arrived to the destination ( 43 mins from my home ) I was told I needed to return the device the next day at 6-9 am. I said i had to drop my 4 kids at school at 840 so i would be 20 mins late . The technician said no, so i had to get someone else to drop it off for me the next day ( rules are rules so i didnt push). The same technician was rude and codescending ( this is NOT her first negative review .. red hair 30-40s ). She would not make eye contact. She pointed at what she wanted me to do instead of asking. Finally I called her out on being rude when she demanded i take off my shirt instead of asking me nicely or offering me a blanket to feel less exposed OR even saying " i am going to apply leads so you need to take you shirt off for a minute". I asked for a new technician as she was making me so uncomfortable ( as if i wanted to spend my morning getting a heart monitor with a cup of joy at the bed side ). The next technician, Pat, was lovely. Showed me how to use device. She was patient with my questions and the whole event only took 3 mins. I personally have not dealt with the cardiologists in building but my husband has and they are lovely. Too bad they hired someone that brings down their image .
