After telling her that it had been a long, long wait for the replacement, she argued with me about the time line. Then went on to explain that Peak sleep bore no responsibility as they were not the manufacturer. I explained that I had purchased the machine from Peak sleep and that (although there had been a recall by Phillips), Peak Sleep ultimately is responsible. She argued that this is not the case, but that I needed to sign a release form absolving Peak Sleep of liability in the matter before I could leave with the replacement machine. To add insult, she asked me to fill out a review of the Peak sleep experience. If I gave a positive review, I would receive six of the smaller CPAP air filters. If you enjoy being treated like garbage and paying around double the price that you would pay on-line, then Peak Sleep clinic is for you.

She provides counseling sessions of various lengths and frequency depending on your needs as well as specific and achievable advice that has helped me cope with my insomnia. I believe she is dedicated to providing genuine care to her patients. It does take a while for the Sleep Center to triage referrals from your family doctor but it is well worth the wait. I need to do my own research. I think I'll ask my doctor for a referral to a more credible clinic.

First when I called to book an appointment I was given a lot of run around and no flexibility on booking as their only book in the middle of the day. This is extremely difficult for people who work. i took a day off for the app as it was at such inflexable tone at noon. They told me their staff only works at that time. The day before they confirmed with me in the morning and during my lunch break I completed the online forms. Close to 4 pm I received a voice mail as I was working and later a text that my appointment was canceled due to issues with their staffing. I had to change my plans and book again another day off. Same thing no staff during the mornings or afternoons only middle of the day. Same cancelation after confirming app and the day before due to staffing issues. From what my doctor says he likes this group but I can tell you first hand don't use them and they will do nothing but make excuses and it's always staffing issues.

I don't do well with medication, not my fault that I was born into this sensitive body but being dismissed as helpless because I can't take meds was disappointing. I found the doctor to be somewhat arrogant and very dismissive if you don't take meds, even though I've tried a few med over the past few years that reacted horribly with me. This place is a medication station and nothing more, no testing and not magical sleep program...just meds. My doctor can do the same thing.

Dr Alonso showed no compassion and berated me for not consenting to purchase a new CPAP machine from him. He kept telling me he could contact the police and tell them that I should have my driver licence taken away. Everytime I tried to ask a question about why his CPAP machines were $2500.00 as compare to other places for the same machine being a fraction of the price he turned the question around that if I didn't buy the machine he would report me to the police and have my licence taken away. I did purchase a new CPAP today for $899.00 and contacted a different Sleep clinic to take me on as a client. Stay away from this place. They do not care about their clients. You are only a cash cow.
