Headline: Great sales pitch, but atrocious delivery and non-existent management support…read more When you spend thousands of dollars on a major purchase like a hot tub, you expect a baseline level of professionalism and customer care. Northeast Factory Direct completely failed on both fronts. The Delivery: My delivery window was scheduled between 8AM and 10AM. Nobody called to give an update. After waiting around, I finally called them myself, only to be told they were stuck on another job. They didn't bother showing up until 2:30 PM. Worse, when the hot tub arrived, it looked like it had been sitting uncovered outside--it was filthy, full of dead leaves, dirt, and actual footprints that I had to clean out myself. The Product: Once cleaned, I tried filling it up, only to find water pouring out. I tried a second time, and it leaked again. A maintenance tech finally came out and discovered a crack underneath the unit. A brand-new hot tub, delivered broken. The Customer Service: Reaching the store by phone after the sale was practically impossible; it took days just to get through. Frustrated by the lack of response, I drove to the store in person. I was told management was not available, but that someone would call me back the next day. That call never happened. While the maintenance team eventually did their job and replaced the cracked part the following Monday, management has completely ignored the situation. They are attentive when they want your money, but the second there is a problem, management disappears. You should not have to chase down a company and scrub footprints out of a brand-new tub. Just reiterate, getting anyone on the phone after the purchase is nearly impossible. I had to physically drive to the store just to get answers, only to be promised a callback from management that never came. While a service tech eventually fixed the broken part, management never reached out to apologize or resolve the headache. Great service when taking your payment, zero support when things go wrong.

Reps leaning against the counter, no smiles and a general unwillingness to show you around their store. They are great at pointing in the general direction of items in their store. It's this overall experience that I give this store 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I still have my first table from the old store in the flats that I bought back in the early '80's. Since then I have bought a total of six couches from them for a business that shall remain nameless in this review. I assure you though, they are used often. I just replaced the original couched that had just under 15 years of use. And they wear like iron. Even after 15 years, you would hardly sink into them. I made the mistake of buying a couch for myself at Value City furniture 9 months ago. Within 3 months, you sank to the floor. Uncomfortable and creaky, I hated it. Yep, lesson learned. Cheap is cheap. Going to the Crocker Park store was a pleasure. They had a great sale going on, and I bought 2 new couches. Christine the saleslady was helpful without being intrusive. No pressure. The only glitch was one of the couches delivered was not the correct piece. Within hours, an Arhaus truck showed up with the correct piece. Great customer service, and great quality product. Highly recommended. Carry on.

I had been looking for a television stand for a newly purchased 75 inch Samsung and was conflicted about where to buy one. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!
