So very, very disappointed. Let me start by saying the salesman was friendly and very…read moreaccommodating. Now that the good part is out of the way let me get down to business. I purchased a mattress set two years ago. I did not spend a lot of money because it will eventually end up being in a guest room and at our age, we will not be having many guest. I bought the mattress to be used for just a short while, at least that is what I thought at the time. But as life would have it things change. In any case, after only about 4-5 months with me having turned it abouot every 6 weeks I noticed a body indention in it. Well I had forgot the terms of warranty so I was disappointed but thought there was nothing I could do. Then after several more months I thought it wouldn't hurt to check out their exchange/return policy. To my surprise and delight there was a one time 10 year exchange policy on it. So I talked with the original sales person (to my surprise he was still there). I went in and we made the arrangements. He did suggest I upgrade if I wanted more support, but again I do not plan to be using this mattress for much longer so did not want to put out several more hundred dollars for what will be a very seldom used mattress. The new one was delivered a couple of days later and low and behold it had a body imprint after the very first night. Now I am stuck with this worthless piece of junk they have labeled as a mattress. Before it is stated/asked well geez how big are you. I am a normal sized woman. Yes I could stand to drop 20 pounds, but that is not nearly heavy enough to leave an indention in a mattress after one night. The issue is they Mattress Overstock is selling a very cheaply made mattress. they should be ashamed of themselves for even having these things on their showroom floor. It is a mattress that should not even be sold at the Dollar store. I paid around $500.00 for the mattress and $84.79 for the delivery. Now I have to sleep on this piece of junk until I get moved. I am so upset and disappointed I will never shop there again nor will I recommend this business. It is a shame because again the salesman was pleasant but the company itself should really be ashamed selling such low quality. Lastly all I can say is buyer beware. The brand is Jameson - JAM315-1030M The Paseo Firm Full Mattress. A cotton ball is firmer.

Love my new beds & only not giving 5 stars because the ceiling tiles in the showroom are water stained everywhere and when you are testing out mattresses and looking up it's a bit nasty . Great place overall

I'm a big fan of the Tempur-Pedic mattress, but I am forced to give them a poor rating due to one…read moreinescapable fact: A mattress is only as good as its foundation. And their foundation (box spring, whatever you want to call it) is complete crap. Our first one broke after a few months of normal use. My wife called and it was replaced under warranty. It had failed because one of the cross-members broke away from the side frame, thus causing the mattress to sag. I hoped this was a fluke, but the new replacement broke on the 3rd day, as I was simply sitting down gently on the bed. Again, the same problem - the cross-member pulled away from the frame and then broke. So I procrastinated several months, using bricks to prop up the broken cross-member...do I call it in again and suffer the same problem? Or do I fix it myself, if possible? I decided on the latter. So I carefully removed the hundred+ staples and upholstery. Then I found out just why the cross-members broke. And it wasn't due to occupant weight (we're typical Americans), but design. The frame and cross-members are both made of thin 1/2" MDF, which is softer weaker than even construction grade pine. Worse still, the cross-members are attached to the frame by one (ONE!) very short screw each! This means that all the cross-members can pivot, changing stress vectors and thus weakening the structure. Worse still, the unbelievably flimsy top sheet is only 1/4" MDF and is only attached to the cross-members by a total of 4 brad staples! If you lift the box spring the top can fall right off because the staples are not nearly strong enough to hold it. Worse still, the top sheet could strengthen the box spring if it was actually secured to the frame or cross-members, but instead the whole structure just flops about. Worse still, the lateral and longitudinal cross-members are not joined or attached to each other! They are cut to overlap along the load axis and thus have less than 1/2 the strength they should! And, surprise, surprise, this is where the breaks occurred. So I attached the cross-members to the frame rails with 2" counter-sunk wood screws, similarly attached the top sheet to the cross-members, screwed 2x6 wood blocks to the broken cross-members to strengthen them beyond the original design, and then re-upholstered the box spring. It still looks OEM intact, but so far hasn't broken. I even bounced on it a few times to make sure. There's maybe $25 in materials in the Tempur-Pedic box spring, and of course it's mass produced for efficient assembly. Adding a few screws and reinforcing the cross-member intersections would add minimally to the manufacturing cost, and vastly improve the quality of the bed. Personally I would NEVER buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress again if they insist on supplying such ridiculously under-engineered sub structure for an otherwise quality product.

We bought a $4000 mattress and box spring set from a local department store. They arranged to have it delivered a couple of weeks later. Unfortunately, the box spring ( high profile) didn't fit into the bedroom, so the department store said they would re-order the low profile one from Tempur-Pedic. It was scheduled for delivery four days later, however, we got a call from the store saying that the box spring platform had not been made yet, so it would have to be re-scheduled for the next week. So during the second week, the store called again to say that there was nothing to deliver because Tempur-Pedic had still not made the product. It was re-scheduled again for the following week. Again, we found out that week from the store that Tempur-Pedic had still not bothered to make the product, and there was nothing to deliver. Finally, after nearly a month after the box spring had been reordered, the store finally said that Tempur- Pedic had made the box spring and had delivered it to the store's warehouse, so it could finally be delivered to us. Meanwhile, I sent an email to Tempur-Pedic to ask them if the box spring was indeed going to delivered to the store's warehouse after all, since the delivery had been canceled so many times due to Tempur-Pedic's lack of ability to manufacture our box spring. No response. That's right, Tempur-Pedic not only couldn't be bothered with making the product I had ordered for 3 weeks, they refuse to answer their email. Wow, business must be good if you can't be bothered with answering a customer's question, not to mention not bothering to say that you are sorry that they have been kept waiting for weeks for their completed bed to arrive. I still would recommend the Tempur-Pedic mattresses because the ability to sleep on their products vs. a regular mattress with springs is heaven, however, be aware that if there is a problem and you need to exchange anything, you will sleeping on the floor or the couch for weeks waiting for them to make something different for you. And forget about them answering your requests for updates, and hell will freeze over before they say they are sorry.
