We finally decided on a Sleep Number and I'm so glad we went into the store first. Sly helped us and he was great -- super friendly and patient, and he really knew the ins and outs of all the beds. He walked us through a few models we had already been eyeing and made sure we had time to actually try them out. That made it so much easier to figure out what we wanted. The bed itself is awesome. My side is set to 65 and my boyfriend's side is at 30 -- total opposites, but it works perfectly because we can each have what we like. Coming from a softer mattress, being able to fine tune our sides has been such a big improvement. New sleep level unlocked: I hit a 99 on my sleep score. I want to shout it from the rooftops. Delivery was smooth too. The team showed up on time, set everything up quickly, and even gave me a quick walkthrough before leaving. I liked that they had an option for a bunkie board since we use a platform bed and love our storage space. Overall, the whole experience (store, bed, and delivery) has been excellent. read more

Buyer Beware, We are Senior Citizens. We went to sleep number bed in February 2023 to get a new adjustable Sleep number bed thinking it would improve our sleep and health. First off the bed was Very Expensive! The entire bed with adjustable base came to over $10,000! So were were thinking we would get good customer support and a quality product. Second we were told that the bed came with a 100% Satisfaction guarantee. But when we purchased it the guarantee was for "190 nights" but after we received it customer support said it was only "100 nights" The sales person Nathan Roberts was very helpful but didn't make that clear to us. Third off the bed had a nice feet warmer and let us raise up our head and feet which we loved but the main complaint about the bed we had was the edge or borders of the bed had no support. My wife fell out the bed twice and hurt her shoulder. The Edge of the bed is not even firm enough for us to sit on and get dressed. This is something they don't explain to you is that a big disadvantage to these air beds is the "Edge Support" is just not there. We contacted the Southcenter Sleep Number store and they said we had to call the Main Customer Support Number. We called them and they said they can exchange or refund the "Mattress Only" but the Adjustable Base is NOT Refundable. They did NOT make that clear during our purchase. We just couldn't tolerate the new mattress so we asked for a refund. They came back and took the mattress only but left and disabled the base. So we are now stuck with a $5000 adjustable sleep number base and they even removed the Heat / Foot warmer function from the base! We feel like we got Scammed and We do not Recommend Sleep Number Beds to anyone. read more

I purchased from Joel Joseph and Mike Clancy. The mattress was supposed to arrive two weeks after purchase. I waited that Wednesday from 2-5. I did not get a notice of delay until later on. The delivery was pushed until next month. Very little to no effort was made to expedite the delivery. They're quick to make a sale, but were all crickets when it came to follow-up and customer service. Sleep Number needs to go with another delivery contractor. The staff at the store was professional and helpful, and the mattress we purchased is fine. Having said that, also know what your needs are as a piece of furniture. The room for under-bed storage is very limited. Containers made for that purpose do not fit. My biggest problem is the height of the bed frame. They sell one style of bedskirt whose depth is approx. 14". Our frame measures 17". Due to the mechanism supplying air to the mattress, it's not possible to use a standard bedskirt. I have purchased one with the intent of altering and now have to accommodate not only the pump and hoses but also the dimensions of the frame. A standard king is 80" wide. Sleep Number is 75". so I need to adjust the size of the liner as well. read more

We purchased a new sleep number mattress to replace our old sleep number mattress. The issue with our old mattress was that it had big dips in the mattress. The new one arrived in the same condition. We were told that it needed time to "expand". We feel like we are sleeping on a slope. I wake up with a back ache every morning. The bed is defective. All they have to offer is a "comfort specialist" to come out and offer "fixes" to a $3,000 bed! (Oh, yeah, and if they come out, a return option is not available!) They refuse to return the bed until the 30 days have expired, even though the bed is defective! We will never ever do business with sleep number again. After having this bed for a year, I can say that I have developed back and neck pain. This is nothing more than a very expensive air mattress. It sags in the middle when at a low sleep number. The foam baffle running down the middle of the bed destroys using any part of the bed except for the two narrow channels on either side. Foam on the side breaks down. Save yourself a lot of misery and find a different mattress. read more

Here is my review!! I have ZERO STARS for this BED!! This VERY EXPENSIVE BED $6,000 - I have had for a year and a 1/2 - NOT LONG AT ALL!!! We have several complaints about our King Size pillow top bed. We purchased the split version so each side could be adjusted personally for myself and my husband - after a day or so, we realized the split/separation down the middle of our bed is up to 6 inches wide- we have to stuff blankets in the separation to keep my dog from disappearing!! We weren't told the separation would be that large. Also, cannot seem to locate a perfect number for our backs hips and shoulders to be comfortable. I phoned in a couple of times over the year for assistance - with no real accomplishment that led to a comfortable sleep pattern. Recently my hips hurt so bad ONLY while I sleep - my husband is having major trouble with is back and shoulders - I phoned SN customer service for help or assistance in this matter - they said all they could offer me for aching hips etc. was a cushy topper to add to the bed for $400 each side. I about went through the roof!!!!!!! They said nothing about adjusting my number - offered nothing!! - - went straight to telling me to further purchase another item from them for a very high price. This is ridiculous!! These beds are a farce!!! My hair dresser was doing my hair yesterday - she told me her hips have been hurting -even went to a doc about them - she then said she sold her Sleep Number Bed - and now her hips feel great!!! I WAS SHOKED! she offered this info while she was cutting my hair - I told her I was going through the same thing, I thought it could maybe be the BED - NOW . . . . I have NO DOUBT!! Do NOT purchase one of these beds - YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!! They are not what they advertise, they are not comfortable - I had my last mattress for 20 years - this SN Bed didn't even last a year. We love the bed we bought. However, the customer service and business "policies" are below par. I bought a set of sheets and upon delivery, noticed I ordered the wrong type. The "policy" is that they cannot refund money, only "exchange the sheets with a $95 upgrade" in other words extra charge. I was appalled. These were brand new sheets, never used. A weird experience in that, while I said I didn't want to pay extra for the "upgrade" they kept trying to push selling us other items. This "policy" is not customer service oriented. Buyer Beware. Also their sheets are very expensive. I found much better deals online - lower cost and higher quality sheets. Careful of your order. You can't get a refund. Ever. read more
