The store and people were super friendly, however it's been a year and now the bed does not work properly. I've been extremely frustrated with Sleep Number's customer support and their lack of accountability for a known issue with the bed. Initially, they claimed it was the heating pad causing the problem, so we replaced it at our expense, which only worked for a week. Then, they ran remote tests and inaccurately said we had two different wireless networks connected--this is nonsense, especially since I work in IT and know that's not the case. After that, they shifted blame again, saying it's a wiring harness issue, which isn't covered under the warranty, meaning we have to spend even more on repairs.
It's absurd that nothing is covered after just a year, considering how expensive the bed was. This is a known problem, as confirmed by numerous people having reported that the foot heating on one side stops working after about a year. Sleep Number should cover this, but instead, they make you keep paying for more fixes. They keep hiding behind the "limited warranty," which is a poor excuse for avoiding responsibility for a product flaw. I plan to post about this terrible post-purchase support everywhere. Buyer beware if you're considering a Sleep Number bed. read more
