Wow. The more I find out about this business the worse it gets…read more To return a mattress for a refund is 20% of the cost of the mattress. At the cost of mattresses these days that's hundreds of dollars. To exchange a mattress is still 10% so still hundreds of dollars. Plus an additional $100 to pick it up. Then the free pillow ($100) and mattress protector ($200) that came with the mattress weren't returnable so the cost of these "free" items was also deducted. This was not mentioned during the purchase of course. So I was looking at a loss of over $600 just to get the original mattress back to the store. I still would have to pay the difference for the new mattress. So just to exchange the mattress would have cost over $1000. Go to Bedroom Sleep Shop. Their returns and delivery (white glove) is free unless you live far away and they don't charge to haul off the old mattress. Mattress Firm charges $100 to haul the old mattress off. This place is a huge rip off. EDIT: In response to the Mattress Firm reply. You value my feedback? Is that supposed to be a joke? You didn't value it when you refused to post my honest review on your website did you? Why would I bother contacting you now? Everything I've said here is true. We had gone here 4 years ago to replace our camper mattress and purchased a middle of the line mattress thet our kids loved so much we had to drag it into the house on holidays. So, we thought we would buy the same mattress in a king size to replace our current one. After all if a $1200.00 mattress was only going to last 5 years why spend another $1200? We walked in and right near the front door was a king soft-sided waterbed. We had a waterbed back in the 80's in that ugly wooden frame you had to climb up and over to get out of and missed it dearly. This bed was like getting a hug when you laid down, we loved it! When it was delivered and set up the one we received didn't give the same hug even though the bladders were an upgrade to the ones in the store (we wanted totally waveless). We mentioned this to Scott and received a call from him a few days later. He had gone out of his way to research what was available and ordered us replacement bladders and had the guys come over and install them. It was a beautiful thing crawling into bed that night! We have lived in 5 states and two countries and this is undoubtedly the most unselfish thing that a retail establishment has ever done for us.
