We purchased a $5000 mattress in November of 2024, slept on it for 60-days, and after multiple trips to the chiropractor for new aches and pains, we decided it was the mattress that needed to go. We wanted to return to a "traditional" mattress and cost difference is nearly $2000. They refuse to allow us to use that cost difference on any other item(s). Either keep the $5k mattress or lose the difference in funds. RIDICULOUS! How can this be their final policy. Do not give this company your trust!

The coffee table and end table we were interested in, he said they could have it delivered in 6-8 weeks. We asked about purchasing the showroom tables to get a faster delivery and, upon further inspection, the manager said the end table, "has a scratch, but it looks okay." My husband told me that the drawer of the end table did not pull out very well either. Strike one, considering the astronomical price of the table. Strike two: the coffee table's price tag was literally glued onto the top of the table, so peeling it off would also take some of the paint off. Strike three: when we asked about the rug, which was $700, availability, the manager also gave us a long delivery time. The showroom rug had definitely seen better days and my husband said the bottom of the rug was torn up. They were only going to give us 5% off if we were to have purchased it. I'm sorry, but that's trash. If a rug looks that bad, you should be taking more than 5% off. When we told the manager we would think about it and come back, he got testy and said, "If you go anywhere else, they will have to order it, too." I'm not trying to sound defensive, but we are not stupid and do know this. We ended up going to Nebraska Furniture Mart and not only found a similar-looking coffee table and end table, but also a rug that is the same brand as the one we were interested in here, but a lot less, price-wise. Additionally, we found an accent chair. The staff was a lot friendlier, too. The cherry on top of the sundae? The furniture will all be delivered within a week! To the manager of Furniture Mall of Missouri: I know it's disappointing when a customer tells you or any of your other employees no; however, the attitude you had towards us is inexcusable. Another time we came to FMM, we were helped by a lady who, although she also did not take no for an answer and was pushy about selling, did not talk down to us like you did.

My significant other and I visited the store around 6:45 PM to shop for fall clothing for our children and a few items for ourselves. After browsing through the kids', men's, and women's sections, we went to the beauty section, only to discover that our cart filled with items had gone missing. When we approached an employee for help, she claimed no one had seen our cart and mentioned that employees sometimes take carts they think are abandoned. We explained that we had only stepped away briefly and did not abandon it. To make matters worse, the employee, Faith, was unhelpful and seemed to be watching us closely. When we finally got a manager, Ivy, involved, she also failed to provide any real assistance. It was confusing when Faith later emerged from a back hallway with our cart, especially after the manager stated that abandoned carts were taken there. As we checked out, we noticed several items were missing from our cart. When we asked Faith to check the back for our belongings, she refused and instead provoked us. It felt humiliating, especially with other customers watching. I later contacted corporate for assistance, but their response was equally unhelpful. I spoke with District Manager Ray, who contradicted himself regarding the situation. Overall, I felt judged and discriminated against during this experience. I hope no one else has to go through what we did. I cannot recommend this location based on how we were treated. also it's been over 2 weeks with no updates after being ensured i would be called.
