They were knowledgeable about the mattresses, and when I wanted to make a phone call home to confirm the mattress type we were getting, they both immediately turned around and walked some distance away across the store so we could have more privacy. I thought that was nice and we never felt pressured. Paying and scheduling the delivery were easy, but if I had one complaint, it would be that they didn't tell us that the frame wasn't included in the price. A few days later, they called to say that the delivery had to be pushed forward a day and Serta wasn't giving them any good reasons for it to pass on to us. They made sure that that was OK and then they refunded the cost of the bed frame as an apology without my even asking. I wasn't even mad, actually, but they seemed to feel genuinely bad about it. In summary, our experience almost couldn't have been better. I'd definitely recommend them.

The first couch delivered from Ashley Furniture Online was a nightmare. Wrong couch and delivery refused to take it up stairs. We returned it. I called Mike from CA and over the phone, he helped me get the right couch, get the order placed and confirmed the delivery would not have issue with stairs. Today, the delivery arrived with two of the most unhelpful, rude delivery persons. NOTE: this is a 3rd party contracted service - not Ashley direct. They refused the stairs, took the smaller pieces up the stairs and literally dropped them in the middle of her floor. I called Mike, from CA and asked if he knew anyone or any resource that could help, We had half the couch in the lobby of the apartments. Mike said he would work on the solution or do it himself. Next thing I hear is my daughter, no longer panicking because Mike and Izahiah from Ashley LEFT THE STORE and CAME TO HER APARTMENT and MOVED THE COUCH UP 6 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS and ASSEMBLED IT. What?!?!?! Mike and Izahiah went above and beyond and from 1900+ miles away, I could not be more grateful. Ashley Furniture in Coralville - PLEASE appreciate these amazing team members you have!!! To be clear - the 5-stars is for the Ashley Coralville in store team, Mike & Izahiah. Low and behold, four minutes from our condo is a futon place! We come in and are warmly greeted by Jordan. Jordan listened to our wants and needs the entire process and thoroughly explained features and benefits of each item. We went with the mattress that they make in store and the darker stained wooden frame (one pictured) and couldn't be happier. They are part of the TJ Maxx family however their main business is in the sale of Home Goods. I am just going to remain candid and be real with y'all. You can seriously do a lot of damage to your pocket here. I don't normally shop for home décor but one can easily get addicted to places like this especially if home décor is your jam. I had some self-restraint and spent about $60.00 at the sto! With that money I got a candle, two vases, a wooden laser cut birthday card and a pack of Christmas cards to last me through this season and the next. That being said, one can easily spend well over $50 due to the lure of "cute-ish" items. I get people need "retail therapy" however, choose wisely and ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" If you do, by all means shop away however in this economy, exercise some caution.
