Apparently the set up was not put in the system by Brian however it was paid for so not sure how that happened. They kindly refunded the $150 for that but now I am stuck with a 1500 frame that we don't want. Horrible customer service. There are plenty of other good mattress stores in Sarasota. I have 2 others to buy and I will never buy anything from Mattress Firm again and I will encourage everyone I know not to either.

For some context, my back was severally damaged when I was attacked by a student in the school I worked at. It took eight years for Worker's Compensation to agree I needed a spinal fusion. The problem with a spinal fusion is they can collapse over time and you need a repair: I have had two. Now I have another surgery to consider to replace all of the hardware in my back. But I need to sleep and my need is for a firm mattress, and what most companies sell as firm is still too soft for me and I have tried them all. During an Internet search, I came across Unlimited Comfort. I convinced my wife that we should stop by and see what they might be able to do for me. Sandy had me try several that were on the floor and all were too soft but one. Yet even that one was still too soft. While we were talking, Sandy assured me they could build one even firmer. While Sandy was writing up an estimate, I joined another customer who was trying out an adjustable bed. I liked the adjustable because I could exit from it much easier when the back was up. I asked if the mattress I was considering could fit on an adjustable frame without losing support. Sandy assured me it would not be a problem. I bought the bed and adjustable frame and it was much less than I had paid for brand name mattress like Sterns and Foster or Sealy Posturepedic for a mattress alone. Three days later, Sandy was at my house removing my current mattress and bedspring and installed the frame and mattress which fit nicely in our current Broyhill headboard and footboard set. It has been a week now and I have been getting a great night's sleep. I have taken advantage of the adjustable frame to get just the right setup for me, but even when the bed is flat it is comfortable and provides me the much-needed support I need. And should I need to have the mattress itself adjusted in the future to make it firmer or softer, I don't have to worry. As it was made in Sandy's factory, he can have the mattress adjusted to fit my need. What more can I tell you. This is the mattress I need and I am sure Sandy can build one for your need's. A side note as we had a problem with the adjustable mechanism, we had to contact the company who provides the units to Unlimited Comfort. A service mechanic was quickly sent to our home and he was able to diagnose the problem. The parts he needed arrived in two days and all was well.

I was miserable the first night. The mattress was so hard all I did was toss and turn. It didn't feel anything like what I had tried in the showroom. I retried the showroom bed I had purchased- it had much more 'give' than mine at home. When I asked about it, I was told it was much more 'worn in' as a showroom sample. Somehow that fact was never mentioned by the salesperson. I ended up exchanging my bed for a much more expensive mattress that I'm now happy with EXCEPT for the fact that they also charged me $150 to restock the first mattress. Quite a business model the way they up sell you and charge after selling you something that is not fairly represented in their showroom. Since they were already delivering the new, more expensive mattress, $150 seems high to cover their restocking fees. DO NOT BUY HERE. I will never go in there again.
