If I could tell you to do anything about this place is DONT ! We had some confusion about our stay and the front desk lady actually came to our room and pounded on the door and was YELLING at my husband in the hallway , about it even though we had extended. Then started yelling at him about charging us another 30!per night for our service dog and acted like we tried to hide him ( mind you Shep is Cane Corso so one just does not hide one of these beasts ) but stopped once she realized he is not a "pet"!then upon check out the housekeeping staff was literally yelling at us we need you out when the occupancy was literally at 0 ! I have never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable in a hotel and until we get the rest of our life figured out we spend a lot time in these places . read more

Surprisingly decent hotel. It isn't quite 4-star, but way better than 3 stars. Clean, bright, and open lobby area. Nice clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast selection is on the upper range of breakfast for moderate hotels. It was well stocked. They have a waffle station. Sound dampening was average, the climate control in my room had a slight rattle, and the shower door is woefully inadequate at keeping the water from soaking the bathroom floor (no tub). Stayed there two nights recently. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, typical. No cookies in the lobby (sad). The freeway interchange location is convenient and pretty quiet. Luckily, we were given a first floor room as I could see there is no elevator. My only complaint is that the room doors slam very loudly and, unfortunately, we had really noisy people next door who were in and out until the wee hours. Second worst motel....this is named inn for a reason.... that I have ever had the misfortune of staying. We have spent years and years of weekends traveling for club youth basketball and baseball, so comparing to other family friendly, budget conscious hotels like Marriott, Holiday Inn, Hilton and Hampton. Room and common area were filthy. Bed was soft and lumpy as were our pillows. Busy road noise kept us awake half the night. Every time a nearby guest opened or closed their door it caused our door to jiggle. We woke up tired with sore backs. Customer service was non-existent. There was not a common area with a TV for even a group of 10 to hang out. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dive. read more

I have been staying here and referring others here for years. The price is decent, the rooms are nice, and the area is clean. Over the years there have been little things that have signaled to the hotel declining in standards, but nothing enough so to stop coming back when needed. Our last trip was similar to others but what brought their rating down was... -The manager's rude attitude. - The manager being annoyed when we asked for soap since we didn't have any, followed by her asking for an explanation as to why we didn't have any. -The manager calling out and running after one of us in the hallway to confront us on the purpose of stop signs. "I don't know if you're from around here but stop signs are supposed to be stopped at." - The manager calling our room reminding us who is actually paying for the room after a misunderstanding. Again, I have been here many times and have always enjoyed my stays. So much so that I signed up for their rewards program through their family of hotels. I will continue staying in the Tri-Cities when I am in the area, but be going elsewhere from here on out simply for the fact that I don't like feeling harassed. Amanda is amazing. She is a joy and will make any guest feel welcome. I have had a brief interaction with the owner as well and he is very kind as well. read more

I traveled for 10 years for business and had elite status for several brands. Just finished a 3 night visit to the tri cities room was good, not big but it was only me. Sink area is out of bathroom so no privacy if that is a concern the Bed was very comfortable and sower was very good The breakfast was a huge disappointment and surprise check out the photo of the biscuits. Decided to go out to eat and mentioned it to manager and she did not to seem overly concerned and stated she had some other things to tend to and was busy Would I stay there again possibly was surprised that there was no elevator for second floor only stairs read more

When I stay at a hotel( which is frequent) I do expect room cleaning each day of the stay. Room cleaning is a huge problem at the Sleep Inn. This was my first time to this hotel. The first evening and night was good. Please note that I never use the "do not distrub" sign as I arrive around 9 pm and leave around 6 a.m.each day. The room was cleaned after the first night as is industry practice and as expected from a hotel. The second day there was no room cleaning at all. I inquired at the desk and offered fresh towels and told the room would be cleaned. I went two more nights without cleaning the room or fresh towels for a total of three nights of the six night stay. I went to the front desk each night and asked why I was missed and asked for fresh towels and cleaning of the room for the next day. Each time this happened I was told they were shorthanded with cleaning crews and had high staff turnover. I called the manager, Tashene, and was told that room cleaning had to be requested each and every night otherwise it would not be cleaned. I reminded her that I did request room cleaning or two back to back days that had been missed. Tashene then said she found the notes from the front desk where I had requested cleaning and she asked what I wanted to do about this matter. She said no discount or comproimise on the bill could be made becasue I had prepaid the room. I missed the red flag of not very many guests around or cars in the lot. Tashene has no place in the hospitality business. read more

Pleasantly Surprised, it's closer to a 3 1/2 Room was clean and quieter than expected considering location I was worried about the sounds from the nearby freeway, this was no the case.. that was a bonus for me. Pool was a little cooler water than I like but it was clean and didn't smell of chemicals, hot tub was also clean and hot like it should of been. Breakfast had a decent selection of food, including a waffle maker and the lady attending to the breakfast was very helpful and kept things stocked and tables and counters clean. read more

I stayed here over the 4th of July week. I was able to negotiate a price match from another web site (for the same hotel). I liked the location right off the freeway and the price. Staff was friendly and the room clean and cool. For the price it's a good deal. I also liked the shower water pressure, not the tinkling low pressure shower head. Decent free got breakfast. My complaints: the TV is way too small, I don't watch much, but when I do I want to be able to easily see it laying on the bed. The main hall carpet, colors and room carpet is so outdated (like the 70's). The maid didn't clean the room the last day I was there. When I called the front desk they even said the maid doesn't clean every day, WTF? Anyway, minor issues, I would recommend and for the price, it's a great value. read more

Kind front desk service. Room was extremely clean and had microwave and fridge. Doesn't look like much on the outside and isn't a super fancy place, but you can tell it is well taken care of. It's didn't feel grungy or worn down. Would definitely stay again! read more

I was able to find a room here on business when almost every other place was booked full. The rooms are small but quaint. Similar to a studio apartment without a door on the closet. Linens are clean and smell nice. Flat screen TV's, microwaves, and mini-fridges in the basic room for aprx $85. You can hear the large truck's "Jake-Brake" from the highway but oh well. My room keys didn't work the first time so I went back to the desk and them programmed again. When I left the room to retrieve items from the car my room keys failed to work again. Most places give new or close to new magnetic cards. These keys have seen some action as they would lose their program just by putting them in my pocket. The internet has no password. Which doesn't seem to important except that the response time to the server is ridiculously slow. The router replies @ 54Mbs but their internet connection must not be very fast. If not for the keys and the internet I would have given another star. read more

This hotel is an oasis! The interior is beautiful. The rooms are comfy and so quiet. They have a great breakfast. Many items to choose from. They have scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage. There is also an oatmeal bar and donuts and waffles and yogurt. There is a salt water swimming pool and an exercise room. Definitely would stay here again. read more

My son and I were traveling to the Sacramento area from the Coeur d'Alene area and need a room for the night. We found the Sleep Inn right off of Highway 182 in Pasco, WA. Our room was perfect: two queen beds, best shower I have ever seen and used, and the entire place was spotless. The beds were the most comfortable that I've slept in...better than home. Heater/air conditioner worked great and was very, very quiet. For those who use a CPAP machine, there are two electrical outlets on the light stand very close to the bed. Eva, the front desk clerk, was outstanding. Fast and very efficient, and more important, friendly. She treated us like family. In the morning, there were fresh scrambled eggs, pork sausages, hard boiled eggs, fruit, juice. We had a great breakfast that held us over for a very long time. I would stay there again any time I'm in the area. Thank you Eva and staff. You made our stay very nice. read more

We stayed here over the weekend for a wedding (not at the hotel). Our room was clean and comfortable. AC worked well. But the best part was the staff. Everyone was super friendly. We came back around 1am after the wedding and was pretty hungry. Eva who was working the front desk at the time let us have some cereal and bagels from the breakfast area. SO nice of her since she certainly didn't have to. She saw us debating what to get at the vending machine and took pity on us. :) thank you!! SHAME ON YOU NAOMI! The manager Naomi refused to honor the internet price so I called corporate. They called and spoke to the front desk girl, Victoria. A ditzy bleach blonde, who is easily frazzled just by routine phone calls let alone on a customer service question, they then spoke to Naomi who refused their request. I filed a formal complaint. She wouldn't cancel my reservation either so I could rebook and get the internet price. Naomi you got an extra 10$ from me but lost my future business. I had a lovely stay here. The staff is sweet, flexible, and accommodating while the rooms are clean comfortable and as nice as the pictures. The pool is a salt pool- Nicer than chlorine and the hot tub is a good temperature. I had a great time getting to know Victoria who was working at the front desk when I arrived. We stayed here last minute and enjoyed our stay. The staff went out of their way to help us out. Since we needed semi parking they guided us over the phone of where to park. They also gave us suggestions for food within walking distance or delivery options. We needed to mail some things out and they helped us out and dropped in the mail for us so we didn't have to try to find somewhere semi accessible. The rooms were very clean. I went here just recently for a business trip. The hotel is right off the highway and near plenty of food and drug stores. The hotel is nothing special but for the price its wonderful. Nice pool and hot tub, free coffee and fresh cookies all day in the lobby with a free copy of USA Today and Wall street journal. The rooms are fine, great air conditioning and heating, comfortable bed and desk for work with a nice sized flat screen TV. The bathroom is slap nice with a big stand alone shower, no tub. There is also free wireless internet throughout which is great to stay connected. What really sold me was the wonderful service I received from the swing swift front office lady. She showed me where everything was and when I forgot my license, she brought it back up to my room. read more

Friendly, updated, clean, quiet, tasteful, honest value, easy to get anywhere in the Tri-Cities and back. We have stayed here each time I visit my family in Richland. We have a small dog and this Hotel is pet friendly. The room, pool and fitness area have always been clean, when we have been staying there. They have cookies when we have checked and waffles, cereal, etc. in the morning. The last time we stayed the price had increased some since it was summer. But, if this Hotel remains a lower rate than the newer Hotels in Richland we will continue to stay when we visit. read more

Newer hotel. Clean rooms with a hearty free breakfast. I would have given this hotel 4 stars, but these two issues are significant. 1. Our room key consistently did not work. I had to go down to the desk and get it reactivated multiple times. 2. There is no elevator which can be tricky if you have a lot of items to carry up to the second floor, which we did because we were there for a softball tournament. I would consider staying here again, and hope that someone can figure out the problems with the key cards. read more

Zero stars - Made a reservation more than one month in advance through booking.com and within 30 minutes of making reservation had to cancel because I found out the event I am attending is taking place at another hotel that is offering reduced rates to me as a venue participant. Did not realize that this was a non-refundable rate, which I'd never heard of before for hotels, but my bad for missing that. I immediately tried to cancel. Booking.com has no problem with waiving the fee because it was within 30 minutes of making the reservation, but they called Sleep Inn and Sleep Inn REFUSES to give me a refund. So I am being forced to stay at their hotel (or pay double, which I am not financially able to do), and commute to the other hotel to attend the event I am going to be in town for. Makes NO sense. There is no way my cancelling that room 1.5 months in advance has caused them to lose any other reservations so the refusal to refund my money makes no sense. read more

First off the 1 star is for the POOR customer service i encountered this evening. (Check in at 3pm the staff was friendly and very accommodating. For the last 3 hours I have been listening to music and loud conversations directly outside my window. Finally got up Turned off the A/c, muted the TV and looked out my window and sure enough, a large group of people 'copping a squat' curbside for what seems to be part of an ongoing sanctioned 'tailgating' after work BBQ for 'workers'...?? SERIOUSLY? I called the front desk and asked if she knew what was going on? She said, "Oh, Yeah. That is the BBQ for the workers; I have all ready asked them to turn down the music (and they did because someone else had already complained). OKAY? (rather shocked at this point) Well, she goes on to say, " They are almost done; they just had their food delivered...". I have NEVER ever heard of such a thing occurring in a hotel parking lot right in front of occupied rooms window of PAYING guests? The final straw for me was the front desk saying "Well, you will have to ask the Manager/Owner about this...nothing I can do, this happens all the time...you have a pleasant night" and hung up. I get that this is only a 2 star property, without much in the way of amenities, I was so enjoying my quaint, clean room. Nicely decorated and updated, clean white towels that were soft (not crunchy or tattered). It was such a nice, quiet evening especially after driving for the past 4 hrs straight today. It is rather creepy seeing people walking by and looking in your window, which normally wouldn't happen due to it not be a pedestrian "traffic" area. I have the black out shade open and the sheers drawn because otherwise I would be sitting in the complete dark for the past 3 hrs listening to the loud music, slamming car doors and boisterous conversations. Sadly, there seems to be no end in sight. Good luck trying to unwind from a 4 hr drive and get rested for my early morning of meetings. I was, thinking although this 'Inn" has no elevator, is dated and not near ANY restaurants (other than the lame wine bar located in the ghost town of the failed outlet mall down the road), the pool is broken I was really thinking this property is a good find....(sigh of disappointment) :( In closing, regarding the broken pool - the health dept was here during my check in, issuing fines for the days they had been open and allowing swimming knowing that they were in a health code violation for chemicals? read more
