Wall outlet that was missing screw

Room was seemed to be painted light colors as to make it more welcoming, which was a nice color. Although it did not mask the musty smell or the hair dryer falling off of the wall. One of the outlets was also missing a screw and falling off. The room was small and shower awkwardly shaped. The staff was nice but nothing exceptional. It was fair weekend so breakfast bar was busy each morning and tables were scarce as there is only 5 total. The menu as well was the same both days and limited. Nothing ran out though except for coffee and milk, the attendant kept up well as I noticed she had other responsibilities in other areas of the hotel. Was definitely not worth the price.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. Usually have problems with keys.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life...I have never been so poorly treated as at the…read moreRamada Inn in Grand Island NE....My family and I have never been so poorly treated by staff of any kind of business in our travels. I am truly at a loss of words. Despite the hotel restaurant losing our order and taking over 2.5 hours to deliver our food to the table with a half full restaurant, one staff member was overheard complaining that our family was being difficult to work with... While we appreciated the meal being comped....nearly all the food order was wrong and the food was incredibly under cooked. As we departed to relax in the lobby, my two elderly aunts in their 70's and uncle in his 60's were told to vacate the couches we sat on to relax after a horrible experience at the restaurant because "the area was closed". We were threatened with a security guard almost immediately saying "Do you want a visit from the police. I can arrange that for you folks". I have never left a negative review in my life; even for poor service I have experienced in the past. But this experience has been beyond words and there is nothing this facility can do to correct this. It is shameful and unacceptable a business can operate this way and I hope this review can make a difference.

Uncomfortable stay. Staff harassed us about the non-registered guests coming to the hotel for…read moredinner with us, and inviting their 2 kids to swim with our registered 4 kids. We were in town specifically to see these friends/family, they are the reason we were at the hotel. There is a policy to prevent large numbers of people/parties(understandable) , but this was not a party and staff was made aware. I was told I was "flagged" and if the unregistered kids swam they would be asked to leave. (Staff made it sound like this hotel has an issue with residents of the town sneaking in to use the pool and others hosting parties, but that's not my problem. That wasn't the case here, and the hotel didn't need to take that out on our group) Eventually grandma came in and told front desk staff that she would leave at night and stay at the home of those we were visiting, so the 2 local kids could be registered guests and swim. The staff agreed, but it shouldn't have gotten to the point of grandma offering leaving. We requested adjoining rooms. Staff said before arrival that would be accommodated, it was not. After I reached out to corporate regarding our stay, manager Rhonda reached out and gave me a half refund and half apology. She sent me a security camera screenshot of a member of our group in the pool, list of policies, told us we misunderstood, said grandparents and families are always welcome, and rambled on. She's unprofessional, lacks integrity and according to corporate, there is noone to hold her accountable. I did meet one hotel staff member that was friendly during the stay. And we found the bar/restaurant staff to be very friendly as well. We enjoyed the service, food and drinks.
