So the first day of getting ready, use the shower, but no shower gel, empty, so good thing I brought my own. Didn't say anything about, thinking housecleaning was going to replace and replenish, Nope, second day nothing as well, when greeted with housecleaning, there was a lady and a man, and a little girl rolling around at the bottom of the cart( wait what) why is there a little girl here while you're cleaning rooms, this went on the whole time of our stay, notice that other cleaning ladies had there kids, as well, what kind of hotel is this where the owners have kids here while there parents are cleaning rooms. Definitely not appropriate, lastly the food, STAY AWAY, they served the same food for 4 days, and it was spoiled, the waffle batter tasted spoiled after making it, and instantly threw it out. The biscuits and gravy looked old and hard, like they took it out and put it out day after day, to save food. Was in dining area, sitting, and was told by older Indian guy, that we have to move, and it was cleaning time, EXCUSE ME, we paid to stay here, and you want to run a kid vacuum to say you need to clean. Definitely will not be back at any LaQuinta's, very bad experience, here in Bessemer. Somebody needs to find out, why are kids here, in this hotel, as well as the spoiled food being served. NOT GOOD

We stayed at several of the chains. We took a car full of supplies to make it more like home including dishes, an ottoman, our own bedding, and a large rug. We stayed at the Bessemer location and one right outside of Huntsville and one outside of Montgomery. All were very clean and safe and the price is really low- if you pay for a month I think it was less that $150 a week. If you are in a situation where you literally have to live out of a hotel and you are paying for it- then this is a good place for that. I wouldn't stay here for a vacation- but definitely great for a temporary living situation.

I will never ever ever ever recommend anyone ever staying at this hotel. Not here. Not ever. It is a place where they don't clean properly, nothing works, and the people are very rude. The customer service stinks at best. Judging from what I see, the management of this hotel chooses not to fix things that break. Anything to save a dime, I suppose. The toilet paper was down to the core when I walked in my room. The manager probably wants guests to use every single square before replacing the roll to save a few cents. See pics of toilet paper holder. Super nice. The fridge in the room appears to be from 98 and maybe has fallen off a truck before. Great patch-work on the wall. Hardly noticeable. The back cover missing off the remote? "F*** it. Who cares", says the hotel. Alarm clock looks like it was picked up off the side of the interstate and doesn't work. Very rugged! Shower drain has no plug. Very industrial look. The microwave is from another dimension. And mud all over the carpet throughout the lobby and halls. Take some pride in your hotel and maybe not so much pride in saving a dollar or a few cents.
