This hotel is falsley advertised as a decent hotel. When we booked the hotel, we didnt see that we had to choose specifically the "kitchenette" in order to get any kind of fridge or microwave. so thats partly our fault. When we got to our room, several of the light bulbs were burnt out, the nightstand next to the bed had no bulbs in it, the safe was already locked, and the shoeer plumbing hot/cold was reversed. when we went downstairs to eat the "hot breakfast" the only hot items were waffles that you made, which the batter was too thin and didnt cook right, or some store bought meat, egg, cheese bagels that you heated up in a microwave. It was recommended at the hotel to try the restaurants at the gas station in the same parking lot because the owner of the hotel owns all the businesses in the parking lot, the checkers burger place was not great food, but we wouldve been ok if they had gotten our order correct, they got the entire order wrong, and the fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. the next night we had barbeque food and the pulled pork seemed like it was just the fat trims cut off and minced from a loin, the mac and cheese was more like mashed macaroni and velveeta. the taco/pizza/grill closes at 6pm everyday
so we didnt get to try it. my wife tried to eat serial all three mornings and said that it tasted funny, on the third day she couldnt believe that it was the serial and found that the milk was spoiled. To top all of those experiences off, the wardrobe for hanging clothes is undersized, and the safe is located in the only spot where there is a hanging rod, which barely gives you enough space to have a shirt if you are a taller person. The shower curtain allows water to condensate through, so there is a large puddle on the outside of the shower on the floor, the bed sheets are just 2 thin sheets, no thick sheet or comforter, they almost seem see through they are so thin. And the pillows all flatten to nothing.
Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences ive ever had. read more
