Recently, my wife and I had a staycation here in Brenham and chose the Hampton as our hotel; they remodeled it since our last visit and is quite up-to-date in terms of style and accommodating features like an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor workout facility that also includes free weights. Our king size bed was quite comfortable and the refrigerator and microwave were fully functional; my first issue, however is that while the TV was centrally located in the room we only had one chair and had to ask for a additional chair to be brought to our room and then a minor thing is that the quality of toilet paper (1 ply sheets) this hotel supplies it's customers is of absolutely poor quality almost like sandpaper. read more

The hotel is clean and convenient to Round Top. It would have been a 4-star Hampton, but the lady working the front desk on the evening of January 25th was ridiculously rude. We asked for a couple of bottles of water (diamond member) and she said "you only get that when you check in", then she proceeded to almost throw them at us. I've never had a Hampton push back on an extra bottle of water for the 2nd night of the stay. Won't stay at this one again. Rooms were decent. Remodeled. Shower door was old and wonky read more

The room was great. Older & needed a an update, but the sign said that's coming. I was really disappointed in the breakfast. Fruit that looked like it had been there for a looooong time, eggs & potatoes both contained bell peppers (just a bit much!), and hard boiled eggs that are impossible to peel. The waffles were good, the bacon fair. The digital checkin and checkout worked great. Not sure I'll stay here again, but it's an option. read more

This is a really great Hampton to stay it-- either newer or recently remodeled decor, based upon how often I go to Hamptons. Clean, nicely working A/C, modern tv with ability to stream- name on screen when you walk in- nice touch. Recognized as diamond on check in and they have great snack that you can't say no to- blue bell ice cream! Front desk also was great and comped my son a Coke Zero as part of welcome snacks. Breakfast was great with the ever popular Hampton maple sausages. Breakfast was clean and efficient-- this is great place to stay when in the area or visiting/moving your kid into Blinn. I can also see this as a great back up to staying near college station when the prices go crazy high on game days. read more

I am a loyal Hilton member! MY 1st time ever coming across bed bugs! We are from out of town, here strictly for business! We when we 1st entered the room it was kind of dirty, the freezer had ice cream left in it. The bathtub was dirty. The shower floor felt like it was going to fall through but we aren't on vacation. So, I just cleaned and sat down to relax. I then see a bed bug. Ughhh.. we go down to the front desk, we are moved to another room. This room was ehh cleaner, the A/C didn't work as well, the shower floor was the exact same but we will take it. 3 nights later at 2 am.. I see bugs on the ceiling... AGAIN?? I call the front desk and the nicest person who worked at the hotel, Rodney answered. I told him, he was very apologetic and nice. He found another room for us. So after packing up all our belongings in the middle of the night, to move to another room, we get to the room. There is a huge cockroach on the wall. So, then we immediately left that room, went to another room, it wasn't as clean. Rodney even noticed the stain on the bedspread. He offered to bring a new one up. The next am which we are going to be checking out. I requested a late checkout. Instead I had Larissa Dieterich tell the clerk to print my bill. I said, I didn't ask for my bill. She said absolutely NO! late check out!!! Also, there weren't any bugs found. I said I have proof, there were bugs, she then said you brought the bugs with you. I have NEVER been treated or spoken in this matter! I was overall disappointed in my stay, but wasn't going to say anything but after how Larissa treated us I think people should know. We were there for the Labor Day weekend with the Real Men Wear Kilts. The hotel was very helpful to our group. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. This hotel is nice and new, or at least it seemed that way as we were on the first floor near the pool and the room still smelled like new construction. It is nicely appointed with dark wood and makes good use of the space with the desk in the middle of the room and the TV on a swivel so it could face wither the bed or the living area. There was a small wet bar right when you walked in. The bathroom was nice, nothing special and the amenities we did not use. The pool and hot tub was decent size and I did see a few treadmills walking by the fitness center. Now there are a few things that kept this from being a 5 star review. One is that the door did not close all the way sometimes when you leave your room. It got caught at the last second. Also, the breakfast not not that great. The selection was fine, but the quality of the hot food could use some improvement. The staff is very friendly and I was able to have a package sent to the hotel and pick it up successfully. read more

I was apprehensive about Hampton inns, but this one changed my mind. Hotel was very clean and offered us some Blue Bell on check in, which was a definite plus. The room was odd (king suite, hard to explain but a see through desk split the room between the bed and pullout couch) but worked well for two adults and a child. What really made this stay awesome was the staff, specifically Adrian. Every time we crossed paths, she went out of her way to make our stay better. She is the exact person I hope to see in any hotel. read more

We stayed here for a few nights when we PCS'D to Brenham from Houston and were waiting for our rental to be ready. Very nice and clean hotel that is pet friendly. The staff was nice and pool was decent as well. Had free complimentary hot breakfast and plenty of restaurants etc within walking/driving distance. Would definitely recommend and stay again if needed. read more

This was my first time at a Hampton Inn & Suites and I was impressed. The rooms were well designed and clean, the linens were very comfortable and the free breakfast was pretty good. My only complaint with this location is the access from the highway. It took like four trys to find the rightr entrance to the hotel. read more

Had a quick overnight trip to Brenham and like usual, stayed at a Hilton property. Was greeted warmly by the guy at the desk, did not have a name tag on, and as I had pre-checked in, had my key ready. He did not recognize me as a Hilton Honors member nor offer me one of the choice snacks for Gold/Diamond members. Did not do the usual breakfast time explanation, wifi, where elevator was etc. Now, I can figure all this out myself as I stay at Hilton properties religiously, but still, kind of his job. I went to the room and it was clean, made up well, usual accompaniments for a Hampton Inn. I came down about 30 minutes later and either his friend or girlfriend was there in the office and I had a question but never looked out or checked the front. His "friend" saw me there and just kept talking to him, without ever saying "someone at the desk," so I just left. Next morning, breakfast was good, standard Hampton eggs, meat option, potatoes etc. Ladies who ran the kitchen had it neatly arranged, warm and kept everything well picked up. I needed a late checkout as I had a conference call and I called down to desk to ask and was told that was fine. I left around 1pm, was thanked for coming in the hallway by the housekeeper and then again by another housekeeper in the elevator, very nice ladies. Their were two attendees at the desk, both sitting and deeply involved on their phones texting or surfing and did not bother to acknowledge me, say good-bye or thanks. So, great housekeepers and left a nice tip for them. Rest of the staff who worked were young and indifferent. Was a disappointing experience as most of my stays in smaller Texas towns at Hilton properties, are allot more friendly. read more

Staying at this Hampton Inn in Brenham, TX has made me always want to choose a Hampton Inn whenever I travel and that is due in part to the below reasons. 1 - Emily. She made me feel like I was coming home everyday with her glowing smile and her can-do attitude. So how do I spell hospitality....... E M I L Y :) 2. Housekeeping was so nice and efficient 3. The absolute best complimentary breakfast I have ever enjoyed. each day we had fresh fruit, bagels, croissants, English muffins, waffles, bacon/sausage, eggs, shredded cheese, jellies, juices tea and coffee etc I enjoyed visiting Historic downtown Brenham. My fav were; Must be Heaven - Lunch their quiche was divine... Funky Arts Cafe - cool little lunch place Be sure to see the Blue Bell Ice Cream plant and take the short tour.. you get a bowl of free ice cream at the end! read more

Rooms are showing some wear and tear. However, they are clean and the staff is always helpful. My go to place when I'm in Brenham.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in the beginning of the month to celebrate my birthday. We loved it!! Adrienne was amazing! After we very easily checked in she helped us find places to go and she was very accommodating and helpful. She really made our stay! The room was clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. This was our first trip to Brenham and we will definitely be coming back! We had such a great time and a wonderful experience here. read more

Brenham, TX - I wasn't sure this place existed until I was called here on business. I had a one night stay and while there are many choices in Brenham... I'd say spend the extra few bucks and stay clear of anything with a number in the name or the prefix "Econo". We were met by Nicole who was great. She only works Sundays... so.. if you don't stay Sunday night well.. you'll never know the best hostess (not sure if that is what they are called) a hotel has ever known. She took the time to tell us the restaurants in the area, explained breakfast options, and didn't even get mad when my partner took one extra cookie too many!! The rooms had an upgraded look - beds were awesome and the rooms super clean. Everything was great. There are quite a few stores, restaurants, a Walmart and even a strip mall with just about everything within a half a mile. The chiropractor moved out of the strip mall so don't hurt your back cause he's not there any more. I'm pretty sure The Hampton is the best place in town. Thanks Nicole! read more

Had an one night trip to Brenham, hotel was very very quiet. Like I was the only one there. Used the gym, pool and had a nice room. Everything was clean and the staff was super friendly. If I ever come back this is where I'll defiantly be staying. read more

Not bad. I stay in a lot of hotels and this was is very decent and clean. The breakfast is average..which in hotels means edible, but I never expect much from hotel breakfast. Clean rooms and free wine and beer on some nights. I would use it again and will soon. read more

The greatest staff you could ever ask for welcomes you back at this destination hotel . We come here twice a year for antique week and love it here . Larissa , the manager is a gem and makes our stay flawless . She makes sure we have everything we need and takes excellent care of us. Book early here, they will be sold out. We are getting married in Brenham and my fiance called to block off 30 rooms for our wedding guests, as everyone is coming in from out of town/out of state (some even from out of country). He called the very next day to follow-up and confirm rates and was told that the employee with whom he spoke the day prior did not officially block off the rooms. All 30 rooms are no longer available, which is quite unfortunate for us given that hotel availability in Brenham is limited with it being a small town. It's too bad that we lost 30 rooms due to the mistake of another person. read more

We recently stayed here for a wedding. The hotel was like other Hampton Inn's - nice suite, with plenty of room - very predictable and of great value in that regard. What really set this place apart though was the incredible service. There was a mess up in bookings that I missed during confirmation and we had to extend our stay - and the hotel was fully booked. The staff there went out of the their way, rearranged some stuff, and found us space - we didn't even have to move rooms. They did this with good humor and professionalism. We had some family come to town and we normally get rooms foor us and them as a sorta mini vacation at the Holiday Inn Express but they were sold out and we couldn't get enough rooms to accomadate us all so we stayed next door at the Hampton. Nice rooms, okay breakfast, but the staff was dreadful. Checked us in with no smile, none of the housekeepers acknowledged us and i just wasnt impressed. I like to feel like I am appriciated and my money is being well spent but I felt like I was just another room rented. Just didn't feel nice. Thanks but no thanks Hampton. read more
