Had a credit card auth form on file and they were only suppose to authorize my personal card for incidentals/extra charges. The hotel authorized my card for a majority of the stay causing my bank account to overdraft and making me unable to pay my rent. When I reached out to the hotel ASHLYN stated that it wasn't her fault her night auditor messed up and I would get my money back in 10 business days but that it WASN'T HER PROBLEM if them incorrectly charging my card caused me money issues. Reached out to corporate and am waiting to hear back. Ashlyn also stated that she gets told all the time that she's not a good manager but those are just peoples opinions...sounds to me like all of those people might be right. Add to that, my friend whose name isn't on the room went up to the desk to ask for a key and the general manager Ashlyn just gave it to her without checking her name or asking for ID...that along with a door lock that you can tell someone has tried to force open and I worry about the safety of any woman staying at this hotel. read more

Well, the pet fee has gone up to $30.00 now. Which makes me wonder if "Pet Friendly" is a real thing with them Or are they trying to run people with pets away. This makes this hotel more expensive than most here. This is sad for me. We have been coming here since 2014 This was my go to Hotel when picking up my grandsons every 8 weeks. I just can't see paying $30.00 for a dog that's sleeps in pajamas. Also the guy at the desk said. "You need to sign this telling you no dogs in pool area or dinning area. This I understand. What I didn't understand was the next statement "and the dog can't be left in the room alone". I asked even if he's in a kennel. He say yes. So we went out to eat had to load kennel and dog up in car. My wife went to Walmart had to load dog an kennel back in car. Went to Breakfast in there hotel... Had to load dog and Kennel in car. We will be back in town in eight weeks to pick up our grandsons I will be searching for another hotel. Oh and the blonde lady at breakfast was awesome as always for her 5 star plus some. Ok...so really odd. The hotel itself is nice...nothing fancy, but smells clean & recently remodeled. After checking in my room, I noticed that a kleenex was stuffed inside the interior peep hole of my door...(noted in the photo section.) Ok...? House keeping didn't notice or remove...? Around 8pm, my door suddenly opened. The front desk clerk (who checked me in) was opening my door. I yelled "Whoa whoa whoa" and she stopped, closed the door, and was walking away quickly. I opened the door she apologised and claimed that she "(I) thought we had 2 rooms..uggg....urrrr...." Awkward. Rooms are loud. I could hear doors opening ans closing all night. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 7am. Best part of this hotel was the friendly breakfast employee! read more

We stayed here for 2 nights to see what the area had to offer. The hotel was spotless. We requested a first-floor room and that is what we got. No complaints about the room, clean and comfortable. We both slept like babies. The breakfast was incredible. Real eggs, sausage and home fries. The breakfast area was always monitored, and items refilled immediately. The staff was extremely helpful and happy to give us extra towels and coffee for the room. If we are ever back in the Manchester area we know were exactly to stay. Advertised as pet friendly on website. I booked online and there was no where to include pet on booking nor did it say there was a pet fee. Paying the $50 fee was not an issue for me but then found out the entire hotel only had 2 pet rooms. Both were taken by other guests and told they would not accept our pet. I was told I could come back in the MORNING to speak to the manager. We had drive from Cape Coral, FL thinking we had a room. Extremely disappointed with this so called pet friendly hotel. read more

Best of all, directly across from the staff entrance of Bonnaroo! Staff is super helpful. Rooms are very clean and have all the stuff you need -- cable, fridge, decent threadcount sheets. Great place to stop along the highway for a rest. The people working the counter were friendly. They had the reservation including the key ready for me when I arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable. The tv had a built in DVD player in case I had movies with me (or went to the Red Box at the Walmart across the street). The desk had plenty of space to spread out my work. It was easy for me to plug in my laptop with the outlets at desk high level. The evening I was there they had cookies available. There is a free breakfast in the morning that I did not get the chance to try. The site had easy access to I-24 but did not hear the traffic from the road. The site is about mid way between Nashville and Chattanooga being about an hour to both. I also did not get to try the indoor pool which they advertise as being salt water. read more

The mini fridge was cold when we checked in which allowed us to transfer items out of our cooler for the overnight stay right away. And the breakfast was delicious with sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits along with a good selection of other continental items. I've stayed at this hotel a BUNCH of times, and I have been pleased every single time. The hotel is clean, and for a Sleep Inn very posh. The rooms are spacious, bright, and have very nice decor. The desk staff and housekeeping are always super friendly. There is a breakfast station, and the breakfast is always amazing. In Manchester, there is no other hotel that can compete with Sleep Inn regarding comfort and value. If I had to list one complaint it would be the pillows. The first few times I stayed here I relied on the hotel's pillows, and I didn't get much sleep. I started bringing my own pillow, and I sleep like a baby. Their pillows are flat and do not bounce back when slept on - a pretty good indication that they need to be replaced. read more

The check in clerk quoted me a price and the next day when I got the bill it was $11 more. Went to the desk and it was adjusted. Morning crew was very nice. I do not understand how you can bill yourself as pet friendly and then charge $30 for a dog. Let me tell you about my stay at Sleep Inn Manchester. My first impressions on walking into the room were extremely invigorating. My nostrils were awakened by the cornucopia of botanical fragrances. It was sensory overload. So glad I left my ozonator at home. The Saltwater pool made me feel home like an orca in the Pacific Ocean. Location of this hotel could not be more satisfying. With a Walmart, great clips, tanning bed, Logan's restaurant, and a Walmart, there were plenty of attractions to be seen. Everything I needed was within crawling distance. Toothless rednecks at the front desk show the ever continuing southern hospitality that made this a memorable stay. Would recommend, 4.8359 out 5 stars. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. It was truly easy to sleep in at the sleep inn. read more

Not bad, more than meets basic traveler needs - stayed here during Bonnaroo. I called the Sleep Inn home for four days during Bonnaroo, and I consider myself lucky. Pretty clean hotel, no bed bugs, comfy bed, WiFi, shower, bathroom, air conditioning, fridge with microwave, it has everything a traveler needs. It's not the newest or the nicest, and I have no idea about the breakfast, but for a weary traveler looking for a quick cheap overnight stop on the way from somewhere back there to who knows where, the Sleep Inn will have you covered. read more

This was a great place for the value. The first thing that I was impressed with was the elevator. I am not a people person and when I push that close door button, I mean business. This elevator did not disappoint. Had I been trying to avoid someone that elevator would have closed right the heck up in their face. The staff were nice and chatty which I'm into in moderation. They didn't over chat me. The room was nice, clean, functional air conditioner, that made me happy. The bed was soft. The breakfast was yummy. I looked and didn't see it described in detail so I will do that for you: biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice fresh from a machine that was poured in from a box (no hate, I loved it), cereal, coffee, pastries (danishes, muffins, bagels), and hard boiled eggs which I was pretty impressed by, I haven't seen that in many hotels. I mean I didn't eat them because there were waffles but if you like to be healthy and your eggs in whole form there ya go. We used the hot deal on Priceline and stayed for $66 plus Tennessee's INSANE taxes and fees, geez a freaking lou. But anyway: would recommend. Try the elevator button. read more

We stayed at this location on October 23, 2015. We loved the location, they had a very friendly, helpful staff, and other than a stinky closet, the room was clean and comfortable. The pending charge came through on our credit card higher than the quote and receipt we received. I called and they said they would have it corrected. The charge did not come through until December 2, 2015. Over a month later. I find this totally unacceptable. Another couple stayed with us and their pending charges were correct and they did not see their charge come through until December either. So it was not because they had to correct our charges. I would have given them 4 - 4 1/2 stars if it were not for the fact it took them over a month to charge us. read more
