Definitely a good value! We spent the night for under $60 with a continental breakfast. The rooms themselves were just okay. I do suspect that this is because we were traveling with a big dog and kinda got a run-down room. Instead of weather-stripping on the door, it was a long piece of tape. The beds were okay, good enough for a night's stay. The continental breakfast was great with a nice, sweet Southern lady serving up items. Fresh waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereals, etc were all the line. Staying here is worth it just for that. read more

First room we were given had not been serviced, the next was ok. Staff was courteous. Room was dated but clean. Not a high quality hotel, but it was reasonably priced and we were tired. read more

Had a trip scheduled with some friends, needed two rooms. Checked in, opened the doors and long behold, cockroach's everywhere, moldy base boards, smelled like smoke . The other room was just as bad. I went to the front desk and explained the situation. The lady moved us to another building. We did not have high hopes, but gave it a try. These rooms were worse. 100's of bugs, feet prints on the wall, blood splatters on the wall. The door in the room that connects to another hotel room was broke, meaning that the other person next door could sneak in. I asked for my money back. It's been 9 days with no refund, and the manager David seems upset with me for leaving a review. I wasn't planning on leaving one if I had gotten my refund, but it's too late. I've got plenty of others that witnessed this horror motel, and more reviews are coming on all the platforms from all the folks that were staying that night in 2 rooms read more

Filthy linens, bugs on floor trash in cans. We left after an hour. As we were leaving at 1:am, people walked out of next room and got their money back. We just left. Disgusting read more

"I never kill insects. If I see ants or spiders in the room, I pick them up and take them outside. Karma is everything" Holly Valance I don't know Holly Valance but I do know she would not get a good nights sleep here as she would be making multiple trips outside to save all the bugs. The good: Price. If you're just caught between Nashville and Chattanooga it's a cheap stop. GET the coupon at the rest stops along the way! Check in at night was super friendly. The bad: Not pretty. Not exciting. It's a motel. Breakfast is a super sub par continental The ugly: Shower didn't work BUGS!!! Flies, gnats, and Roly Polys (Armadillidium vulgare) *go ahead and hit that "useful" button. I wouldn't come back but I survived my visit. (not all the bugs did) so I can't complain. read more

45 minutes after checking in a girl was banging on my door saying I didn't pay. I told her I paid cash since that's what the front desk girl wanted but had to go back to the front office to talk to them. The front desk girl was high as f**k when I checked in so I guess she thought if she told me to pay cash, she could pocket the money. Then they told me I had to pay a cleaning fee for my service dog. I told them by law they could not charge me to have a service dog. They said it wasn't for the service it was for the cleanup of the dog. They nerve of these people. The room was so nasty and had bugs but they were afraid that my dog would leave a mess? I got my money back and left! read more

I booked the Ambassador through price line due to their 3.5 stars. Wow have there standards fallen and I will not use them again. If I was not so tired and unsafe to drive I would not be here. Sleeping on top of the bed and left everything in the truck. Bathroom is nasty. Smells musty but the AC does work good as it was 61 in the room. Front desk was nice and helpful. Price line sucks these days. Keep driving! read more

If you want to make your next hotel seem like paradise, stay here on your way to the next destination. The hotel was extremely outdated, everything was stained, and debris was on the floor. It looked like the set of creepy movie. It was very quiet though but we had the most saggy mattress you could imagine. It was very uncomfortable. The lady at the front desk was working very hard and was super helpful. This could really use a makeover or update. It's in desperate need of new carpeting ...and everything else. We payed $25 more for a different place on the way home that had much better accommodations. read more

Super clean, friendly and helpful staff, well-worth the price. The furniture in most rooms is a little dated, but perfectly maintained.

Checked in paid for a week stay...cost 400$ and says high speed internet...we haven't been able to pick up wifi for three days..my daughter home schools and no wi ..asked to be moved to another room ..still haven't even though there's rooms everywhere...smells in rooms ..you have to ask day ahead for clean towels ..there is no continintal breakfast if you pay for a week ??? It's for only ones stay day or so...that's just stupid..looks like you'd offer breakfast with people that paid for a week ..it's loud from someone riding a gater ..and if they put you in between two people in rooms that's loud as hell..and their dog when absolutely says no pets it's 2 in the morning room next to this POS one is sawing and drilling now at 2bin the morning...I'll never spend that kind of money for rat trap like this..tv is awful too if you can see it much less try change channel.no pool no.work out area and all gone ya run around talk to the manager I don't know but by now I've talked or said enough for it reach the manager to provide what I over paid for..a room with wifi...so she can get her homework done would not advise to pay for room here read more

It's worth noting that this is a motel, not a hotel. While this is an older motel, we found it to be clean, quiet and comfortable. The toons are nothing special but not cramped. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure. Our room had a refrigerator. A good size flat screen tv with cable. They have a fantastic free breakfast on the morning with a very nice breakfast host. A clean outdoor pool and and exercise room. If you stop at a welcome center you can get a coupon book. We slept 4 for $45! I would return. read more

Very sweet Retro Motor Lodge! When I made reservations the lady on the phone was pleasant and helpful. She assisted me several times. No trouble at check Inn. My room was very clean, nice flat screen tv, comfy bed!! They have a small breakfast included in the price. There is a little bit of traffic noise from the interstate being so close by, but I needed sleep and was able to tune it out. Great place for a one night stop over on my way to Atlanta. Have stopped here in the past and will stay here again. The people that work here area really Sweet. Good Value for Price. read more

Stopped here around midnight looking for a place to sleep & recharge during a florida roadtrip. Had my 2 dogs in tow & luckily this place was dog friendly. We received a military/government discount so the entire night only cost $52 w/ tax! You get what you pay for, the room was pretty dingy, questionable stains on the chair upholstery, a funky smell in the room, a cigarette burn on the comforter, saggy mattress, the list goes on. It's no W hotel, but in a pinch, Ambassador worked out. After several hours of driving, the equivalent of travel hanger sets in & you overlook all the negatives, go to sleep & pray you don't wake up w/ bed bug bites. Luckily for us, no bites, but my sleep was interrupted by the mattress situation & the rather thin walls. On the bright side, they offered free continental breakfast (sausage w/ biscuits & gravy cause we're in the south after all), was dog friendly, had decent water pressure & for that price it was well worth it to "rest" for a few hours. read more

My husband and I were traveling to Florida for vacation. We chose this motel because of the great Internet pictures and the nice reviews people have posted. Sadly this was not the case for us. Upon entering our room, we noticed that the carpet looked like it was from a crime scene. It was so dirty and smelly and torn, I wouldn't even take off my shoes. We found yellow splatter marks all over the bathroom door. It was quite disgusting. The furnishings were worn and dated and looked like they might've been purchased from a 1970s fleamarket. The bed itself was like sleeping on a piece of concrete and by the way, I slept with my clothes on because the room to me was just disgusting. If it hadn't been for the fact that we had traveled for 12 hours and it was late at night, we probably would've look for a different hotel. I guess you get what you pay for. We won't be back. read more

Breakfast was microwaved. It was the weekend after Labor Day, in the South.. so 95 degrees at 4 pm. 85% relative humidity. And the pool was closed for the season... Ridiculous management decision. Only positive thing was that it is dog friendly. read more

Please staff and management have a little pride in your Motel. Room 111 is like an uncleared crime scene. Ambassador Inn - This is where we stayed, it's separate from the hotel rooms - Hotels Near Me - Manchester, Tennessee

Clean and quiet, very, very quiet. Very roomy. Extremely old and dated. Used one of those travel coupons and got the room for under $50. Staff could be a little more peppy. Ice machines need to be marked. Any suggestion I would make is to update the bedding, it would give it a refreshed look and feeling. read more

Where to begin...the lady at the front desk was rude to my husband. After checking in, we had a hard time finding our room on the backside of the building because the parking lot light on the back side of the building was out. You couldn't see room numbers or if the parking lot continued around the corner. When we walked into the room, I was pleased. Basic room for a low rate right? Definitely not! After we set our bags down, I noticed the furniture. The furniture was is such poor condition that I doubt the Salvation Army would even take it. The chair had what appeared to be a butt sweat stain. The mattress would slide when you sat on the bed. The entertainment center had some unknown substance splattered on the side of it. There are stains on the carpet, curtains, bedspread AND the lampshade. The shower curtain had dirty water spots on the outside of it. There was hair on the wall of the shower along with something else that looks like snot. There was also hair on the bathroom counter in three different spots. We went back to the front desk and showed her the pictures to which she looked horrified. She moved us to another room (which was in better condition) but there was still hair in the bathroom, only this time it was on the toilet in two different spots. The shower curtain was also dirty again. There appeared to be bugs along the baseboard but I wasn't getting close enough to look. After dealing with Priceline numerous times, we headed to Murfreesboro. Check out the pictures including the mini fridge. If you like the odor of fish and pubic hair in the sink, here's your spot. read more

I had a reservation for Tuesday June 19th through Wednesday June 20th. I arrived after hours of driving a little earlier than I expected in the early morning hours of the 19th. The lady at the front desk checked me in and said it was no problem. It was kind of weird because there was a roach AND a gigantic spider crawling around on the counter in front of the clerk but she made no effort to take care of them. They just continued crawling around while we waited for what seemed like forever for her to check us in. It was creepy and I almost wanted to go to a different hotel but we had been driving all night, we were exhausted (I was with my 11 year old daughter), and I just wanted to go to sleep. We finally got to our room, checked it for bed bugs since that incident with roaches etc at the front desk had not given me a great impression, found none so we went to sleep. Woke up to a call from the front desk at 11am that we had to pay for a second day or leave, even though we had only been here a few hours at that point. I explained that my reservation was for the 19th and the front desk clerk had said it was fine but they insisted that I pay for two nights because I had "checked in early". No one had said anything at all about check in time or check out time either in my confirmation email or when I got here. I was just assured it was no problem. When I was clearly upset about this duplicity and told the manager I would dispute any extra charges with my credit card company they threatened to call the police. There was no yelling, profanity, threats etc at all. Just a firm stance that I had never agreed to a 2 night stay and didn't feel it would be honest for them to charge me as such. Aside from the shady business practices, apparently uninformed or duplicitous desk clerks, and rude management, this place was run down, dirty, old, uncomfortable beds etc. I am only passing through and unlikely to stay in the area again but I know for sure if I ever had to it would not be at this disgrace of a roach motel. read more

We stay here at least once every year. They have a great continental breakfast with an excellent hostess. Staff has always been friendly. Rooms aren't great but I've stayed in much worse for the price. There's a guest laundry on site, decent workout room, and nice pool. Location is good. Right off the interstate, walking distance from a few restaurants and stores. read more

Excellent value especially with coupon from hotel discount book at rest areas. Scan the bar code on the cover and be green too. Motel well maintained and Very clean spacious room as advertised. Bed was comfortable enough even though not a firm one surprisingly. Breakfast bar was better than comparable motels and included sausage, biscuits and gravy (though we don't eat such things) boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal etc. and good coffee. The waffles made by the efficient, kind hostess were restaurant quality. The bathroom was clean and water hot. The wifi exists but is exceedingly slow, which is our only negative feedback. We recommend and would stay here again. read more

Have stayed here on numerous occasions. This motel is a great value for the money. On a couple occasions we've had check-in staff be a little bit difficult, but all in all it's been a good experience. Rooms themselves are not bad: not exactly luxurious, but certainly more comfortable and cleaner than just about any budget motel. Excellent breakfast served by Mary, who exudes the epitome of southern hospitality. read more
