This hotel is what you might expect from a budget friendly hotel for the most part. The staff deserve 5 stars. I can only say positive things about them. The hotel is being renovated and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, unfortunately the walls are not being maintained ( dirt and oil around light switches and on doors from previous customers as well as marks and chipped paint in rooms and throughout hotel) I am giving the hotel only three stars because of the breakfast. I'm here for 2 weeks and everyday the only muffins are Banana nut, so the tray is always full giving the impression they offer a lot for breakfast. The first 2 days here the had a slightly bigger selection of bagels put now it's just what appears to be raisin ( I think) And it's been the same ones for a 5 days now and the sausage appears to be the leftovers from previous day. The biscuits were good at the beginning of the week but today hard and cold. I would recommend the hotel for a place to stay for one night but would not stay again unless they improve the breakfast ( which I am paying for) I would be curious how often they buy new food for breakfast in comparison with other hotels. I would recommend the chain looks into it. I always go to breakfast first thing in the morning when they star serving, so I can eat hot fresh food. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

Friendly staff the lobby is very clean The front door does not open automatically which is a bummer with luggage and stuff to carry The room was nice, but there was stains in the carpet and the hallway carpet showed traffic staining. None of that is really a big deal considering the price point The room included a blow dryer and hand lotion. In the lobby, they have small bottles of hand sanitizer. Nice There was coffee and some breakfast items like packaged muffins, oJ Apple juice, etc I would stay here again. read more

Great stay! It was clean and comfortable. Our stay was for only one night, but this will be our go to stop when traveling. The bed was VERY comfortable! The room was extremely large, and clean for a hotel! Breakfast was pretty good for a FREE hotel breakfast. We are VERY HAPPY with our stay at this location! Thanks for treating us so well! We will be back read more

Would not recommend AT ALL. Reserved a non-smoking king room. 1st room: smelled strongly of smoke. Bathroom exhaust made a very loud noise and was not effective at all We asked to change rooms 2nd room TV did not work Again we asked to change rooms 3rd room was 85 degrees and a/c unit at base of window blew very weak; it would have taken 2 days to cool that room. Had to change rooms. 4th room OK Disappointed in the quality of this Choice motel. read more

I stayed at this hotel March 25, 2024. First let me say the staff was all very very nice and helpful. Now to review the hotel. So NASTY! The shower hasn't been properly cleaned in months, it's obvious. I put a towel in the shower and stood on it to bathe because the shower was covered in dirt and grime. The couch in my room had cum stains on it that had never been washed off. I about puked. I never touched it. I had to wear socks because I couldn't walk on the carpeted floor because of uncleanliness. Walking to the room and out of the room, the hallways smelled like pure marijuana. REEKED OF WEED! I'll attach a couple of pictures to show the proof. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have no other choice. read more

The door was propped open via the deadbolt when we arrived. A little unnerving... The bathroom was cleaned on a day last year. The shower had a hand print of dirt above the shower head along with hair on the shower walls and curtain. Dust bunniea under the microwave cabinet which had a broken door. The bed was clean and very comfortable tho. read more

I've emailed my feedback on my stay to the customer feedback. I could not let another day go by without informing others of how poorly management and owners have not taken care of maintaining this Sleep Inn. Yet they expect to charge rates as if the facility is well maintained and that does not warrant $248 for two nights . The elevator was out of order on day 1 and 2 March 16,17,& 18th Our rooms were on the second floor so we had to retrieve our luggage from the cart the front desk guy put on the elevator while I ran upstairs to the second floor to pull the luggage cart off the elevator. Yes this is a small town but this Sleep Inn is off a major interstate there's no reason it should not function at the level of comfort as the other Sleep Inns under the Choice Hotels. We had four sets of family members who stayed at this location paying $248 or more. These images are from my recent and last time I'll stay at this location. read more

I cannot recommend this Hotel enough, gracious staff, reasonable pricing, clean and well-maintained rooms, hot, daily nutritious breakfast.

For the pricing and service...great hotel! Location: rural, but within one minute of an updated Shoney's kitchen & bar (yes...bar), BK, McD's, and Zaxby's Service: attentive front desk, diverse staff, and the rooms were unarguably clean Décor: stepping up their game...a hotel of this level has made it hard for competition in the area w/ it's updated framed pics and lamps, decent couch in a suite space and a flat screen (accordion-style adjustment to angle) bed or sitting area. Breakfast: it's okay if you're really hungry, need to grab something and hit the road, or you simply understand free breakfast quality...eggs, sausage, instant grits packets, biscuits (surprisingly good), gravy, Belgian waffles, cereal, juices, etc. read more

We stayed here on our way to New Orleans. I saw their pictures on Yelp and they looked pretty decent but there weren't any reviews on it so I'm writing one. The hotel is located right beside the interstate so it was conveniently located for us. The road that led to the hotel had Christmas lights glowing on them. Well, considering that it isn't Halloween yet, I had a problem with that. Luckily when we walked into the Lobby there was a pumpkin. At least the decorations were more appropriate for the season. The lobby area was nice and clean and so was the area that they serve breakfast. When we got to our room I was glad the room looked almost like their picture. It looked really clean until I pulled the shower curtain back and a dirty washcloth fell off the shower rod. Oops! I guess the maid didn't see that. The bathroom was a nice size. Actually it looked big enough for a wheelchair even though I doubt one could have fit through the entrance to the room. They had plenty of towels also. There was a mirror leaning against the wall. It was bolted down but it was at a leaning angle. Every time I walked out of the bathroom I was scared I'd run into it. Not sure why they had it like that. I kept wanting to move it. The bed had 4 little pillows on it. I wasn't sure why the pillows were so small. My head kept falling off of mine during the night. There was an alarm that went off around 6 in the morning. I never did find out what caused the alarm to ring. I guess it was the neighboring room's wake up service. Overall the hotel was a good place to stop while traveling. The staff was friendly and there were restaurants around. Free wifi and breakfast too. read more

We discovered when you are driving to Florida on a Friday night and want to stay the night, you can't be too picky! So we were grateful to snag the last room in the area, but we definitely over paid! The room was okay. Bed was comfortable. There was a used towel and washcloth in the bathroom! We questioned the cleanliness after that. The carpet was nasty. I had to wear my flip flops. But the worst part was the check in disaster. First of all, not the kid's fault! He was trying his best. The manager should be ashamed for leaving a kid who was new to the job along on a busy Friday night! As a result, he mixed up two rooms and gave someone else our room number. When their key didn't work, they came down and got the correct keys for our room. Then we came back from the store and our key wouldn't work. We heard someone in our room. When I went down he called the room and told them they needed to move to the original room. I said no, we'll take their room which they hadn't been in yet. He clearly didn't have enough training to be alone. That is a management issue! I also realize that every place has a shortage right now! read more

Exactly what you'd expect. I was there in the middle of weeks of rain, and my first floor room smelled dank and mildewey... The guy at the desk told me that it was a brand-new hotel so that couldn't be the case. It wasn't so bad as to ruin the stay, but it did diminish an otherwise very nice stay. Aside from the smell, the room was very nice... walk-in shower, huge bathroom, comfortable king size bed, good enough TV. I slept well. The continental breakfast was exactly as expected... not great, but better than others. read more

This is the middle of nowhere so be forewarned. We usually stay in Montgomery when traveling this route, but they were booked (need pet-friendly). Room is clean and has a small fridge and an interesting shower but it's functional. As far as "dining" nearby it sucks! If you are ok with fast food, you'll probably find something but when Shoneys is the "top of the heap" it's not a good omen in my opinion. I don't eat fried food and that's mostly what's available, when I Yelp searched "fine dining" and the top 2 results are Shrimp Basket & Taco Bell.... well, enough said. Yes, my largest criticism of this hotel is the accessibility of decent dining, so if that's not important then it'll probably be satisfactory. read more

I stopped here for one night during my recent drive from Houston to Greensboro. Evergreen is exactly in the middle between the two. This Sleep Inn is to be recommended. From extremely efficient check-in to automatic check-out, my stay was nothing short of wonderful. The location is very convenient, there are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Beds are comfortable, TV channels plentiful, AC adequate, swimming pool clean, breakfast sufficient. Staff is cheerful and welcoming. My only complaint would be about the condition of the bathroom in room 108. Dear housekeeping, please pay attention to the walls, they have not been wiped in a long time, and please consider getting the floor grout scrubbed. read more

Internet and wifi is the worst! Tv only had a few channels that worked the others all kept freezing every few seconds. Three channels didn't even show at all. Dinning area was gross I had to ask to have a cleaner and cloth before they offered to clean the tables. Staff was far less than friendly when I brought it to attention. read more

Someone else's hairs were on the sheets, housekeeping was not happy to come clean the room again, maybe because I wasn't scheduled to checkout. The room had a musty smell, but overall I cant imagine any other hotels in the area being much better read more
