There are two categories of fabric. One with no upcharge from the original price of the item and one that is more. They are hung on the wall in separate wall hangings. I chose a fabric with no upcharge, but when the item was ordered in the computer, the fabric I chose was upcharged!!! When I ask - the salesman said "a customer must have hung the fabric back in the wrong place". I chose another fabric and the item was returned to the original price - but there was NO attempt to go move the fabric I originally chose to the higher priced items.

Answered follow up questions quickly. He even worked with me on delivery as I had issues reserving the freight elevator in my building. The delivery guys were professional, careful, and courteous. I initially contacted them on Friday and Tom was very quick to respond to my email and talk me through some selections. I placed my order online a couple hours later and he had me scheduled for delivery Monday morning. Part of the reason their prices are so low is that they don't have a huge amount of inventory sitting in a showroom. This had me a little apprehensive since I wouldn't have a chance to try the chairs out first or see if I liked one of them in my house before buying 8. Tom offered to have his guys bring the chairs over, assemble one, and bring it in to see if I liked it. If I wasn't satisfied with how it looked in my dining room, he said he'd just take them all back, no problem. So that worked out great and put my mind at ease for the online purchase. The delivery process was also very smooth. They called in advance of heading over like Tom said they would, then assembled the chairs outside in the truck to avoid getting styrofoam bits all over my floor. I will definitely look to Dallas Furniture Online first for my future furniture needs.

We've sent purchased an antique cabinet that we use at use as a coffee bar and two light fixtures. All the furniture in the store is absolutely adorable and has been given TLC. The people in the store however are what makes this experience so amazing. Everyone in the store is as invested in finding you what you're looking for as you are without being pushy. The gentleman who delivered the cabinet whose name is John pointed out that it was a little wobbly and could benefit from some reinforcements. He told us what we needed to buy and how to reinforce it ($5 and 10 min of our time). We intended to do this ourselves. To our surprise however he rang our doorbell the next day and said he just didn't feel right leaving us with a wobbly cabinet. He came back with all the materials and reinforced the cabinet for us and didn't want a dime from us. It's this kind of customer service that has made me a lifelong customer of the Shoppe.

Yes, you can get the same couch here for $500 less than other stores in the DFW area. That's INSANE. They also have a clearance section in the back with returned furniture that is marked down to dirt cheap prices. I got a like new night stand for $35, an amazing bookshelf for $57 and a solid TV stand for $90. A new dresser here cost me $250, new kitchen table was $100 and as I said earlier my couch was $350. That's a total of $882 to furnish an entire apartment with high quality furniture. I have friends that have spent over three grand furnishing their place! The deliver service they utilize is a bit pricey ($85 flat rate) but it beats hiring movers. The guys working here are super friendly and don't try to push you into buying anything. This place is where you want to visit if you don't feel like spending a fortune on furniture but still want high quality stuff.

In fact, some of the same items we looked at that were 400$ at their retail location, were $180 at their Outlet store. This place is a bargain for high quality furniture. It's clear their stock changes regularly, so I highly recommend checking this place out on the regular. Interestingly enough, one of the new chairs we bought had a rental return that matched, so we got a matching pair of designer high quality chairs for a steal. Be sure to look at the entire store. The facility isn't as nice as the other one, with this one having more of a warehouse feel. I'm not even sure it's as big as the retail location, but you're not here for the facility anyway. You're here cuz you're going to save a fat stack on some furniture. Marco was really helpful and very knowledgeable about the furniture. He showed us everything and was very informative. Francisco was nice and friendly, and was even flexible when my wife demanded pillows that went with a different couch... even though we had already paid. Delivery was smooth. We actually purchased items at both locations, and the delivery company owner Alex picked up items from both stores to deliver them for us on one delivery, and for a bargain! Alex and his crew was very familiar with furniture delivery and all furniture was delivered without any marks on the new items or on the property. He was about 10 minutes early even. To top it off, I negotiated with Alex to move my existing furniture out of the way for the new furniture! I'm no Charlie Sheen, but 'Winning!'
