Errors made on my order by my sleep expert and mattress was delayed for a few weeks. But we love the bed!

My partner and I went in not knowing much about mattresses except that we needed a new one. Jasmine warmly greeted us at the door and really educated us so we could decide for ourselves what was best for us. We never felt pressured to buy and instead felt super comfortable throughout our time there because of Jasmine and Barbara. They even price match!!! I ordered a mattress, box spring, and two Black Ice pillows from them on Sept 24. I paid a total just under $1,200.00 which was a good deal. I paid the delivery charge and was initially told that all items would be delivered to me on Sept 26. On the day of Sept 26th, I received a phone call from a "manager" that said the black ice pillows were back ordered and would have to be delivered at a later date. This manager insisted that I go to their warehouse in a different city to pick up my pillows. I refused as I paid a delivery charge and was promised the pillows would be delivered. The "manager" then said the pillows would be delivered October 2nd. October 2nd rolls around, no delivery. I called and inquired about the delivery of the pillows and was told I was supposed to pick them up from their warehouse. I told them that they were supposed to be delivered. This other "manager" promised me a call back so he could look into the issue which I never received. I called again the next day and was told I would receive the pillows by delivery in a few days, but never got an exact date or time. I requested an email confirming that they would be delivered, which they promised to send, but never did. I also wrote an email to corporate, and was promised a response within one business day via an automatic response. It has been one business day, and I haven't received any response from corporate. Also, these pillows are nonrefundable. They were $100 per pillow, so I am irritated. Very poor service. I guess I'll just get the pillows whenever I get them, at their convenience. AVOID THIS STORE. The lack of response from corporate just goes to show how much they care. read more

I mentioned I wanted to buy some more sheets and he showed me what I currently had and what else they have to offer. There's no better place to shop for a mattress than the Addison location. We had just moved to Dallas and found a place pretty quickly but needed a new mattress ASAP as we had not moved our mattress with us. My husband and I had heard great things about the Purple mattress and wanted to give it a try.... only thing was we needed the mattress same day!!! Purple website and Macy's had long lead times and neither offered same day delivery. Thankfully I called around and got ahold of Adedire at Sleep Experts. He not only offered a great price, but bent over backwards to get the mattress delivered same day so we could sleep on it that night. THANK YOU Adedire, you made our move in day great. Good experience. The salesperson was not pushy at all and patiently showed me various types of mattresses until I figured out which I wanted. He didn't give advice - he really just showed me everything, let me try it out and pick what I want. The only thing that would have been better was if he'd asked a few questions right at the beginning (who is the mattress for, what age, how long do you think you'll use this mattress, what type of mattress are you interested in (foam or coils), etc.) - he got all this information over the course of the hour by my volunteering it, but he could have asked and made it more efficient. That being said, he was very laidback and not pushy, which I appreciated, so that's probably just his style. Happily, the mattress I chose was in stock and delivered just a few days later. The delivery was terrific - it took five minutes, the delivery people were very respectful and polite (shoe covers in the home, took the garbage and old mattress away, etc.). First know this review will be ugly! I see they have many positive scores but my experience was truly and justifiably awful. In other words, this is not sour grapes. Further, I was incentivized with free product if I would write a positive review. I said I would review upon receiving my merchandise, so here is my review- Bought an expensive mattress here from a very nice older gentleman. Scheduled delivery and from there it all fell apart. Automated phone call the night before providing a delivery times. Automated call ten minutes prior to delivery and two minutes after that I received a broken english call from an argumentative delivery driver saying he couldn't find me and was moving on. He says he was too busy to turn around and even said he was only five minutes from me. Called the store to get resolution and they were too busy to return the driver. Doesn't make sense why you would 1. Fault the customer for service error and 2. Move on to another task when the one prior was not completed OR given an opportunity to work itself out. I demanded a refund which I am to expect in the next 14 days which is bullsh*t. Basically because the driver couldn't find me after one attempt. If the refund is not given promptly, there will be more action than just a review. Ended up going to Nebraska Furniture, got the same setup, saved money, and had it all put together within the hour. Nebraska is big and can be intimidating but is worth the effort over sleep experts who have apparently been losing customers and vendor contracts I found upon further research. read more

Customer service was excellent greeted by the manager told him I was looking for a cheap mattress for my guest room that hardly gets used he offered us 8in plush mattress it comes in a box I know weird but wasn't bad at all he also got us the box spring and the delivery all for $430. Richard is the best! I went in after a series of unfortunate events and needed a mattress. I told Richard my strict budget and he got me an awesome bed at an awesome price. He didn't push me to pay a little over my budget and didn't act like "making the sale" was the most important thing. To top it off, there was a mix up with my delivery so I called the store and spoke to Richard and he got it all figured out in a couple of minutes. I usually hate going into stores like this because I hate feeling pressured but seriously none of that and I stayed in budget/ got quite a bit off the advertised price. We purchased our mattress from here a few months ago and have been pretty happy with the mattress. The reason for one star is dishonest business practices, where one employee signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge. I called in and talked to the manager, who was very nice and offered a couple pillows to us as a way of apologizing. I thought that was a reasonable response and appreciated his attitude, but when I went in to get the pillows an employee said they had never heard of us and refused to give us the pillows. He was also very rude to us and gave a pretty clear indication that he didn't care what we were told or why we were there. It is a far drive to the store so we haven't been back to try again, but please be on the lookout if the sales people bring up financing anything. We will never buy from this store again, especially because we were purchasing a new home at the time this all happened and the trick almost created a very serious problem with closing. read more

Nick at the Addison location was Great! I really liked the prefect comfort match process. It was amazing to know that we did not need the Cadillac of beds to get the support we needed based on our sleep health needs. We saved over 1,500. on our purchase. I went in today, 2 days before my "trial period" expired. After sleeping on the mattress I bought almost a year ago and having terrible back pain I knew I had to exchange it. The sales person, Danny, was so helpful. He had me do the expert match test (which was broken when I bought my other mattress) and it did not recommend the mattress I currently have. He showed me then ones that I matched with and was very patient. He didn't pressure me to go with a more expensive mattress and made the whole process easy. I have both good and bad things to say about my experience buying here. My boyfriend and I went in on a whim one day just to "look", but our salesperson Kristen got us so excited, it sent us on a mattress shopping bender. On our first visit, Kristen had us lay on their computerized mattress which matches you to mattresses based on your weight and needs. This was perfect for us because my boyfriend and I have differing views on firmness. After playing Goldilocks on several mattresses, we (I) ended up loving one of the more expensive mattresses in the store. Kristen was very patient and encouraged us to shop around, but that she would be there. Very professional. So shop around we did.... Sleep Number, Nebraska Furniture Mart, we did a thorough investigation of mattresses and became quite the experts ourselves by the end of it. But I kept thinking about that first mattress! Plus, both of us have been in sales so we like to be loyal to the salesperson we connected to the most. After a few more trips to Sleep Experts and test runs on the mattress, we decided to pull the trigger. Kristen was awesome during the purchasing process, suggesting the right financing and price matching to other stores. She sold us on all the extras and we were ok with that: a few pillows and $150 Tempurpedic sheets that we were told were a must-have because of the buit-in corner straps made specifically for adjustable beds. After some negotiations the total came to just shy of $3500. We spent a third of that on our couch! Everything was to be delivered the next day and the $150 sheets that I was hesitant about were going to come in a few days. This is where it gets negative. After the sale, the install went smoothly as promised, but the sheets never showed. A week went by and still no sheets. I called Kristen and was told that she would look into it, but never got a call back. A few days later, I stopped by the store and her coworker informed me that the sheets I had ordered were actually on backorder. Why was I not told this while we were sleeping on the mattress cover? She did say that it looked like the sheets had been shipped that very day. A few more days go by and I call FedEx after I get an undeliverable address message. They had been given my old address from a previous mattress purchase. REALLY?!! They tried to charge me to change the delivery to my CORRECT address. Finally I just told them to leave it at the leasing office and I would pick it up there. Again I called Kristen and she said that she would get the district manager involved, I was getting highly irritated by the whole thing and was ready to tell them just to send them back. I never received a return call. Next day, sheets were said to be undeliverable again. I finally called FedEx, got THEIR management involved and they changed the address to my work address. The next day they were delivered. After all was said and done, I never received a call from Kristen. I would recommend her as a salesperson, but felt after the money exchanged hands, we were left in the dust. After spending $3500, I would have expected better follow through. There were three errors that were big mistakes made with this sale: 1) We were never told about the backorder, which makes me think that it was either intentional to tag on the sale or no one cared to look/ call. 2) The incorrect address was given to Tempurpedic, so the sheets were being delivered to someone else (glad they were honest and never accepted it). 3) After more than one phone call and growing increasingly irritated about the issue, I never received a phone call back as I was told each time. It seems to me that everything is peaches and sunshine during the sale, but once they have your money, they could care less. If I had left it up to them to correct the mistake, I would still be waiting on our sheets (3 months later). Kristen is a great salesperson, don't get me wrong, but when we buy a mattress for our guest room we will probably go somewhere else. Just left a bad taste in our mouth. read more
