This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

I know it is new, but unless they make some upgrades in the quality and look of the store, I will not be back. So disappointed.

When I ask usually the clerk behind the desk doesn't know, then he will go to the back and find out and tell me Canada. ( which is better than chilli) but there is no infomation on the packaging or anything. I've decided to keep safe i will buy Bluehouse which is Salmon grown in man made tanks in Florida from another supplier. The deli Deparment is really good. They have better tasting and better valued deli than most major supermarkets in the area. Overall I really like Perrines. So far the food is real good and you have good values. I'd give it 5 stars if I can find out more info on what I am buying. with Fish and meat, and sale items on produce lasted longer.
