Tucked right under the mountains it's a lovely area and right off the freeway! It's perfectly laid out and never feels cramped. We absolutely adored the yoga instructor gabby!! Megan was also an amazing reformer Pilates instructor. The facility is generally clean, almost never a broken machine. The clients are courteous and everyone picks up after themselves. I'd love if the women's sauna or hot tub worked but otherwise it was always a great experience. We always felt safe bringing our kids and they felt so loved we would move back to Holladay just for the gym!

I trained with Rob for a period of time when I was really dieting and trying to get fit…read more Rob was amazing at coming up with effective, unique, never boring ways to get me to take it to the next level. I have been working out on my own for too long to even mention, lest I date myself, so I know a lot about what types of exersize I like/dislike. I found that Rob is a TRUE professional who really knows his stuff and continually surprised and delighted me with the workouts he designed. I have worked with other trainers who pushed me so hard that I ended up injuring myself. Some of those injuries plague me to this day. Rob somehow knows how to listen and tell if you're just trying to slack a little, or if you've really reached your limit. He knows when to say when and when to push. The facilities are VERY clean, he has every type of equipment you could ever want, and then some you've never seen or heard of. The dressing rooms are very nice and well stocked. This is a much more personal, one on one experience for those who have tried "personal training" at a massive gym. Additionally, I trained with another one of Rob's trainers that he employs. She was amazing, and pushed just the right amount of time. Both of the trainers I worked with were always punctual and prepared. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone at any fitness level to come to Holladay Health and Fitness. Whether you are a beginner, or looking to get over your fitness plateau, or have a special even coming up where you really need to look your best, Rob and his team of trainers will help you attain your goals. Additionally, if you are an athlete, and are looking to get a competitive edge, Rob has specifically designed a high-intensity work out using core muscles and stability techniques that will help you to KICK some serious booty. Just sayin'. You're the best, Rob! :)

I also enjoy the Studio Flow classes and have had great experiences with the instructors. The main issue I'm is the cleanliness of the restrooms and equipment. My issues with this location are the cleanliness and that the equipment is always broken. There has been a blood streak across the wall in one of the changing rooms for weeks which would imply that they don't clean the changing rooms. Definitely a lot of room for improvement.

The classes with Pilates reformer machines are $30, so if I go more than twice per week, I'm better off paying the $240/month membership fee. They have punch cards for other classes (15 for $225). Each instructor so far has been helpful. They know how to push our limits without causing pain. Two have given me their business cards for personal sessions or to get questions answered. Nice. Melissa and Kevin at the front desk are friendly. The women's bathroom has two toilets and two showers. Looks like their childcare center is fantastic. Parking usually isn't a problem. The main reason I waited so long to join was because I wanted afternoon classes--not morning or night--but I've been able to find enough classes for my schedule. After I downloaded their app and the MINDBODY app, I've been able to schedule and pay for classes online. Even at midnight. I needed to reschedule a class that had extra payment, so hopefully I won't get charged twice. I've been happy with this studio so far. It's ridiculously close to my home. I thinks it's ironic that it's next to a good hamburger/ice cream diner where my youngest daughter worked for several years. I wonder how many people work out then eat back all the calories they just burned. Ha. Or the other way around--people feel guilty for eating so much then they go to a fitness class. The other members seem to be from all different fitness levels, so it isn't awkward for this newbie who was out of shape.
