Nice Apartment, Moved here last minute last year for a job and most other apartment complexes told…read moreme that it would be 2 weeks or so until they could get me into a unit even though some were vacant. I visited on a Tuesday and they told me I could move in on Wednesday. So I was able to sign the lease documents and then left to pick up my stuff and move it in. I lived 7 hours away in PA. The Apartment staff was very friendly and helpful. The exterior was well kept and it looks very nice when you pull in. Can't really review maintenance because we didn't need it in our unit. However when I reported things around the community they were quick to respond and fixed it fast. We got the townhouse which was roomy and just had fresh carpeting put in that looked premium. My particular unit had a refrigerator that was technically too big for the unit so it would block full access to the dishwasher if the door was shut. Had to have the door on the refrigerator open to load and unload the dishes. The rooms were rectangular so it could be a weird fit for furniture but they have alot of room for an apartment. Most of their units also come with a place to put a washer/dryer combo unit. Fair warning it was very challenging to get the hookups in as its a very tight space. But it saved you from having to use the on-site laundromat. They have a valet trash service that they do where you put your trash out in front of your door and someone comes by and picks it up. Its part of ancillery fees that i believe was 90 dollars and you can't opt out of. There were 2 negatives and my only problems living here and the first one was the parking situation . The lot seemed to always be filled with commercial vans and they had their personal vehicles as well. This location has garages at 65 dollars per month, but no units were ever available. If you worked odd hours, chances were that you were parking somewhere far from your unit which could be a safety issue at night especially during the winter when its very slippery from ice. Vehicles would be parked up close to the units and not moved for weeks. They never enforced the parking rules set up in the lease agreement. This was a very laxed place with them. Second negative was there were heavy smokers(cigarette) in the joining units and they smoked in the bathroom or somewhere in their unit. I would come home and the place would reek of stale cigarette smoke that was heaviest in the bathroom upstairs. We don't smoke and caused my wife to have a few bad asthma attacks Overall the unit itself was great, the people were great. Just need to improve the parking or enforce the rules they have in the lease terms and somehow enforce a smoking rule. I do recommend this place. I looked at alot of apartments and this one jumped out. We moved because I would rather own than rent. One more thing to be aware of is that this place is higher than average if you want to break your lease for some reason. All other places I looked at required a months rent to break. This one is a 3 month charge.

RUN FAR AWAY In my…read more15+ years of renting through college, graduate school, and as a young professional, this was BY FAR the worst place I have ever lived. I got out of there as fast as I could and was counting down the days until I did. It was disgusting, pest-infested, and far from "luxury" that they advertise. The leasing office is a joke and they have no idea what they're doing. AR Building Co. has horrible ratings and I understand why. It took a lot of sleuthing and multiple phone numbers to track them down. Here was my experience: * MISLEADING RENT: your rent will be $200/mo higher than listed because of "premium" amenities, including maintenance??? Maintenance is not premium, it's standard. You cannot opt out of any of these, including valet trash which is inconsistent at best. * When I moved in, they said they deep cleaned my apartment, checked all the utilities/appliances, and took great care of the transition. In reality, I found cigarettes in the "new" carpet, lightbulbs out, dirt everywhere, shower head covered in limescale, dishwasher leaking, a 1-inch gap at the bottom of my front door, a missing closet door, and dryer vent completely full which is a huge fire hazard. * Many tenants do no follow the rules: dogs off leash, dog poop everywhere, trash left on side walks, adult males purposefully urinating in the pool, and much more. I had brought a lot of these to the attention of the leasing office but nothing ever happened. * Reeks of marijuana * Online rental system glitched and deleted my auto-pay, and I was treated horribly by the leasing office. * Birds, squirrels, and mice living in the walls * No recycling * Minors in the sauna at night * Leasing office manager hung up on me multiple times because she "did not have time for this."

Only giving two stars because the community is safe and quiet, and affordable based on my…read moreexperience. I'll give them that. Read the reviews about excessive charges after the lease ends, they are legit! I received a bill for over $600 with outrageous expenses included. I was charged for rent due to unclear and vague communication about key drop off, something completely out of my control. There was nothing in writing about "lockbox" drop off of your keys and I believe that is intentional. They gave me more bogus charges that I was able to argue with photographic evidence. I spoke with Rosemond and Kacie about this matter and Rosemond mentioned the drop off once more after that rent charge was removed, which I find rude and unnecessary. I still feel there are charges that need to be removed as I received an additional invoice that I find questionable. I rarely write negative reviews because I work with businesses and know how impactful reviews are but this is necessary. Make sure you take pictures and keep record during your time here because you will get charged after move out. Regardless if charges are legitimate or not. During my time here there was a maintenance request that was never finished, another time my shower water was left running after a shower repair, also muddy boot stains left in my shower once the service request was done. I got a toilet replaced without a lid that properly fit the toilet and the toilet was dirty. Appliances in units that are not renovated are old and break down easily if they're not already broken when you move in. Because my unit was so affordable and I felt safe living here, I let some things go. Regardless of what their response to my review is, my review is legitimate and truthful and I left nothing out. I was a good tenant and never had issues with management/office staff before. It's a shame that they do this to tenants after moving out. Make sure you know your rights as a tenant.

From the manager who's a typical black woman but have no compassion for her customers. I had to break the lease because they never deliver anything on paper. No one should use them. Get a better place for comfort and peace of mind. Zero recommendatio for this place called Villages At Waggoner. They are very disrespectful and rude! Especially one lady called Nadia. Super rude amongst the rest! Avoid them for comfort

On top of that, my experience with on-site management has been consistently unprofessional. I was…read moretold by one staff member that I was approved to have a dog, then later told by the property manager that I was not -- with no attempt to resolve the contradiction, just blame placed on me. The property manager has also stated she intends to enter my apartment and issue a violation notice, without providing the written notice required under Ohio law and my own lease. In our interactions, she has been dismissive and short with me rather than working toward a solution. I've documented these issues and reported them to the management company directly. If you're touring this property, verify every amenity in person, get every approval in writing, and don't assume anything you're told verbally by staff will be honored later.

I was effectively homeless and was couch surfing when someone told me about MFA Communities. I needed a place for a little over a month and this fit the bill to a tee. The leasing office was so nice to work with. Szerin (I may have spelled that wrong) treated me like family. She was so warm and welcoming and helpful with my unique situation. She linked me with the perfect unit - it was a furnished studio type apartment on the second floor of a building in the gated community. I LOVED it. It was a great size for the time I was there and was super easy to clean and maintain. The furniture was comfy and you could tell that everything had been kept in excellent condition. I didn't interact with many neighbors but mostly the area seemed to be other single temporary professionals like me. When I moved out, they made it so easy for me to discontinue my lease. I ended up moving out a couple of weeks early and they were able to fill my spot and save me some money. They even gave me a gas gift card to thank me for using their services. I own my home now in the area but if I ever found myself in need of a short-term place to stay, this would be my first start and I'm always quick to recommend it to others!

I wish some other fur baby parents would do the same . Nice staff . Never had many problems at all living here , besides my car getting towed twice cause my handicap plaque had fell n I didn't know it . That ended up costing me a total of 400.00 , not very happy about that . It happened within a week apart . No where else have I ever had to pay for something like that . You would think where you live , where you pay rent that they would say oh yeah I know you have a handicap plaque I see you park in the same spot every day with the plaque up in the mirror . Now it's taped so I don't have that problem lol . Besides that it's a good place to live.

My daughter can only stay calm for so long she is ONE. But when the downstairs neighbor is banging on the ceiling with his broom nothing gets said to him. Because "he is a very nice gentleman" he has came up to my apartment a few times , and it is scary because I am a woman here alone with a one year old girl. Top shelf to my fridge has been gone since I moved in, and they "ordered" it still haven't got it so I can only fit half as much as I would like in my fridge for a $1200 apartment?! Oh and to mention someone literally got shot right at the entrance I can't wait to move out and do not recommended
