Stopped for a quick fill up and noticed a lot of fresh food. Turned out they also have a buffet…read moreoffering Indian and Mexican style food. It was fantastic! The service was wonderful, as the attendant explained pricing and made suggestions. They also have a variety of to-go items, several frozen/slushie type drinks, sodas and coffee options. The restrooms are super-clean too! There is ample parking since this is also a fully functional truck stop.

The parking lot is large, well lit, well marked, ADA accessible and clean. This is a truck stop, but there is plenty of parking and regular gas pumps too, for those travelling in passenger vehicles. They do have showers and washers and dryers. This is very helpful to the right people. Their washers and dryers are brand new and clean. There is a nice loung room as well. Let's talk restrooms. Men's room was impeccably clean. The sales floor itself is well stocked with al plethora of food items and necessities. The sales floor is clean, well lit and spacious. Aisles are appropriately sized and easy to navigate. The soda fountain was clean, well stocked and had lots of selections, including a full range of Ale 8 products. The coffee was fresh, but the selection of creamer flavors was limited. I chose to eat here during my visit. The clerks behind the fresh food counter were very helpful and I was greeted with warm smiles. There is a small buffet which, for its size, is amply stocked with a variety of food offerings, including some ethnic options. I chose to eat from the fresh food counter instead. I placed my order around 1:30, well after the lunch rush. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tenders meal and onion rings. The chicken was a little spicier than I expected. It was good, if you like a little bite. Someone who does not like spicy food would not expect that level of spiciness from chicken tenders and might not enjoy them. I know it is pretty well industry standard anymore, but getting one small container of sweet and sour sauce for three chicken tenders is ridiculous and a ripoff. It was gone with the first chicken tender. The onion rings had great flavor and were large. Portion sizes were ample. It is at this point in my review that we come to the reason this was not a full five star review. The food was room temperature. The onion rings were almost cold. This caused the residual grease from frying them to stick to the roof of my mouth while eating them. The food was a dissapointment. I would not go back to this establishment and order the same thing. Overall, it is decent place to "hop off" for a pit stop, but by no means would I consider dining there. I think there are better options in Lawrenceburg and Lexington. I was in a hurry when I went in, so I was not able to take pictures, something I always prefer to do when writing a review.
