The Barber That My Family has chosen as a Favorite is Patricia Lee Colburn! I came into the barbershop today and Patricia was very personable! She told me to get a ticket because it was so busy I didn't think I was going to be picked so quickly. I get looks all the time for my sons behavior so this was nothing new to me but for my sons reaction he wanted to run right out the door soon as he got his number being that we still had a little wait to go. This wonderful barber notices how stressful it was for him, and right away I get looks for his bad behavior I literally love this barber for calling us next right away, he's non verbal so she knew right away How to Make him Feel Greeted welcomed. She even explained to him everything that she was going to do and how long it was going to take.

After hopping from one spot to the next, I genuinely believe I wouldn't be able to find a place that I can settle with for a decent cut. Heard about Penton House Barber from a friend, booked online with Timothy (highly recommended) , and left with nothing short of amazement. The vibes of the location already set an ambiance that I will never forget and was welcomed with bright smiles. I asked for a low fade and the end result was absolutely amazing. Timothy shows passion in his craft was able to give suggestions and left options at the end to adjust the hair. As a result, it came out better than I could've ever expected. I can't recommend him enough and will back very soon for the next touch up! To book, go to their website. Pick the service you want the barber to perform the service (Timothy is a must!).

Okay LADIES, I'm going to let you in on a little secret...they cut women's hair too!…read more Never in a million years would I have thought about going to Sports Clips for a haircut. After some horrendous experiences with haircuts in my lifetime, I've become super picky about who cuts my hair. My friend, Sarah, works there and I knew I could trust her with my locks. Sarah was an instructor at a cosmetology school in Tennessee before she moved down here. She is an amazing hairstylist and she does a fantastic job on my hair. Unlike a couple of upscale salons I've visited in the past, she knows how to cut layers the right way without leaving "lines" in my hair. Now, this isn't a swanky salon. You aren't going to want the shampoo with men's products, and don't expect them to break out a curling iron. This is a haircut only. At about $25, it's much less expensive than an upscale salon. Remember how much you're saving on a haircut and throw your stylist a little something extra when it comes time to tip. Seriously, I'm the last person I ever thought would go to Sports Clips for a haircut, but I'm getting some of the best haircuts I've ever had in my life at half or one-third the price.
